I am truly shocked that Phoenix is a woman. Must be a lonley ugly one at that. She seems to have reading comprehension problems as well or she just likes to fight. I have never seen a comment from her that was not ridiculing and condescending, even when there was no reason to be so.

No way, Sadie. I love your blog. It's great because you have a super sense of humor.
Posted by: Phoenix | Thursday, April 06, 2006 at 12:37 PM
That is exactly what I mean. I have commented on posts before and get nothing but sarcasm from you. I do apologize for the ugly and lonley comment i just do not understand why you have to be so condescending. As for reading Blogs I am a news and information junkie and for that I do not apologize. I am raising 6 wonderfull citizens of this country I love so much and think it is important to stay in touch. I welcome any healthy debate for sure, but can do without the put downs. Myself and others might learn something from you if you didn't throw knives at us.

I keep my email private because hate mail only ruins my day
Posted by: RJ | Thursday, April 06, 2006 at 12:41 PM
I have never gotten hate mail in my life. If anything, I get just the opposite. It may be you are taking my facetiousness as condescension. You've not been reading this blog very long. If you had, you would see my comments are balanced for the most part. I can be anything I want to be, and I can write to 'be' that person. It depends on the subject, and it depends on how someone responds to me. You engaged in name-calling immediately to me on a post further down the other day. What was that all about? You called me a 'dumbass', and you've done some more name-calling since. What's the point of that? I thought I was dealing with a fifteen-year-old, so I didn't respond on our earlier exchange. As well, for someone who makes many grammatical errors in his writing, you are a bit of a joke to criticize me when *I* am doing it on purpose. But to call me a 'dumbass' because you disagree with my opinion? Grow up.
My original comments about 'the crack team' at your blog? They stand.
Posted by: Phoenix | Thursday, April 06, 2006 at 01:37 PM
Dearest Phoenix,
Far be it for us to stop you from being anything you want to be, and writing to "be" that person. Those are certainly noble goals. But we noted, in your response to "RJ," that you refer to your "original comments about 'the crack team' at your blog." We're not entirely sure what you mean, but, if you are insinuating that "RJ" is an alias for the crack young staff, you are mistaken.
We are delighted to have some support from "RJ" and dear Sadie, but we needn't stoop to taking on aliases to criticize you. Simply put, we think you are an idiot, and are "writing to 'be' that person."

Phoenix I have nothing to do with whatever blog you were refering to. You made a very rude comment to me about the Doyle issue. First off you misunderstood what I was trying to say and you called me stupid before I ever called you a dumbass. Are you angry because I am not a Bush supporter? I really can't figure out why you insist on such rudeness. We are all allowed our opinion is that not what these forums are about? As far as grammar I am not being graded therefore I do not see the need to be so carefull with it sorry that bothers you.

Whenever I see 'Phoenix' on this site I know she is going to leave some good, unbiased, comment.
With so many others, you just know which way the wind is blowing before you read!
Posted by: annie | Thursday, April 06, 2006 at 02:55 PM
By the way I don't have a political or religious affiliation. So if you are referring to me, you have it all wrong.
Posted by: RJ | Thursday, April 06, 2006 at 02:59 PM
WOW. A full blown sagga of Blogger v. Poster. Or is that Smart Azz v. Smart Azz's?
I enjoy the humor at HQ but was taken back by Phoneix and her post about their blog.
Time to go, need to ponder up an insult or two. Subterfuge needs the blog hits!
Tired of BH getting all the male attention.

RJ - I'm in the mood to toast some of Dan's bandwidth here:

You have nothing to do with the blog, eh? Then why jump in if for no other reasons than to pound me about my reading comprehension and rudeness and for being a 'lonley' and ugly woman who likes to fight? For sure we are allowed our opinions here and fighting and jumping on others is a big part of the fun. Your comment was gratuitous. You and I have had exactly ONE exchange. No big deal on that - I've had a ton of gratuitous things to say. But above you state that I called you stupid before you called me a dumbass. Can you show me where? I've cut and pasted our single, first-time exchange on this blog here. You can judge the veracity of the copying by going down to read the whole post:

The whole Admin must go. I am sure the Evangelicals appreciate that this whole lot used them as there face to the nation what a joke
Posted by: RJ | Wednesday, April 05, 2006 at 11:05 AM
Good grief. One perv and it's the government versus religious sects. No wonder 'reason' is in absentia everywhere. Everyone has to drag a bunch of crap into everything.
Hmmm.... did the Homeland Security Department use the Catholic church to face the nation. Why, sho nuff, honey.... you heah 'bout that pervert dey caught?
Posted by: Phoenix | Wednesday, April 05, 2006 at 12:33 PM
He is the second guy from this office to be charged the first masterbated in front of a minor. My point was that Bush talks so much about his party and religious affiliations that the Evangelicals will probably not want to be mentioned again when it comes to this administration
Posted by: RJ | Wednesday, April 05, 2006 at 12:36 PM
Oh. I see. By your logic, the Pope should disassociate himself with the Catholic church, blacks should not disassociate themselves from Cynthia McKinney, the NRA should disassociate themselves from Cheney, the NAACP, Belafonte, J. Jackson should disassociate themselves from Condoleeza Rice, and any Evangelical who masturbates should leave the church.
Okay. I understand now.
Posted by: Phoenix | Wednesday, April 05, 2006 at 01:00 PM
That is not what I am saying at all. Aside from the religious issue my point was that many are losing faith in this admin for several mishaps not just these. Sounds to me like you think child sexual assault is not a problem. Maybe you should turn back into those ashes you rose from dumbass.
Posted by: RJ | Wednesday, April 05, 2006 at 01:06 PM
Rj,
"Sounds to me like you think child sexual assault is not a problem."
Far from it. I do have a problem with people taking one problem and making much of it. What this guy did or didn't do, happens everywhere, millions of times a day. That it happened to a guy who works for the Homeland Security Office - and he was caught doing whatever from his home computer - and all of a sudden the administration needs to be changed, by god, and Chertoff needs to be fired, by god, and Evangelicals should cavil and bitch that Bush is a phony...... GIVE ME A BREAK.
WE are nuts in how quickly we throw our rage around and politicize everything and stick religious bullshit into the picture. Until the story comes out, the WHAT IF'S should cease.
As for people losing faith in this administration.... Yeah? Find me one where the people DIDN'T.
Posted by: Phoenix | Wednesday, April 05, 2006 at 06:33 PM
I believe in the seperation of Church and State. It is Bush that brought it into the political ring and all I am saying is that they may not appreciate being associated with some of these folks. I myself have no affiliation with a Church only my personal relationship with God. It is not my intention to argue with you only to point out that some people may really question being associated with some in this administration.
Posted by: RJ | Wednesday, April 05, 2006 at 08:25 PM
And for making much of it. What is that to mean? Sounds like you still don't think his offense was that serious. And if you can comprehend what you read you would know that although he used his home computer he gave her his gov. issued cell number and the address to where he works. You act as if he has done nothing wrong. Like it or not he has further sullied the rep of this administration along with many others as of late

I am a poster here and have been for a while. I do not have a blog I just enjoy reading this one. That is until recently. How about you and I forget we ever met here. One last thing are you making fun of Black people? It sure sounds like it to me.
Posted by: RJ | Friday, April 07, 2006 at 08:15 AM
This thread began purely as fun and it has somewhat devolved. How about we just leave it here. I've enough ugliness to delete on the NH threads. I'd appreciate it if everyone would let this drop. I don't want anyone to come here and feel offended for anything beyond perhaps thier political beliefs being challenged.
Thanks
