McMINNVILLE, Tennessee (AP) -- A former teacher who served time in jail after being accused of having sex with a 13-year-old boy was arrested for the second time in two weeks.

Prosecutors said she contacted the victim again and sent him sexually explicit videos of herself.

A judge on Wednesday ordered Pamela Rogers, 28, who had been free on bond after an April 11 arrest on a probation violation charge, to remain in jail until a July hearing.

"If they're able to prove this, it would show an incredible lack of judgment," Strianse told the Southern Standard newspaper after Wednesday's hearing.

Gee, ya think? Either that, or that is one well hung little kid. LMAO

I had a gorgeous science teacher in H.S. He was so handsome. All the girls would just sit in class and stare. But you know what, he was a real man, and a true educator. He wouldn't even councel girls in his room without the door open or another adult present. Winfrey had a whole show dedicated to female teachers that molest/rape students. It was terribly interesting but I couldn't help noticing that even she was being easier on them than I know she would be had they been men. Is it happening more or was it just not reported in years past?

I think there have always been child molestations, but, kids weren't able to communicate the abuse, or parents were frightened, and embarrassed, and unwilling to subject their children to public humiliation. Things have become more open in the past 20 years, with shows like Oprah's, not to mention the flood of information stations, and the Internet. There is totally a double standard between female sex predators and their male counterparts.

There is no doubt that this woman is obviously mentally ill, but, then, so are other pederasts. Yet, because she's a beautiful and sexy woman, there's a double standard in the perception of her compulsion. Many don't even feel it is a crime for her to prey on pre-pubescent boys, and that's even more disturbing than this sexual predator's uncontrollable behavior. She's a wolf in she-clothing. If it were a "he" then the cry for punishment would be intense.

Another double standard lies in the fact that she's very attractive, thus all the jokes about a "hot teacher." Would the same jokes be made if a good-looking male teacher were convicted of molesting a young girl?

Interestingly, it wasn't but two generations ago that such was actually looked upon favorably in this nation. Here's a movie from 1947, a comedy, starring Cary Grant and Shirley Temple, which puts a high school girl falling in love with a middle-aged playboy bachelor. Plot devices ensue and the bachelor is ordered by a judge [as comedic formula might require] who is the girl's older sister to woo the girl.

Americans are funny people. We think young girls can't [or shouldn't be able to] consent to sex because they're too immature, yet when they inevitably do, we believe they're mature enough to choose abortion on their own without the same parental permission it takes to get their ears pierced.
