Natalee Holloway Update

Someone emailed me a link to a large image which appears to be the individual now being held in the Natalee Holloway investigation. That is not confirmed. here He is identified in the image as Jeff - there is another image of Jeff here. Again, it could be a different individual. I've blown up one portion of the first image at right.

I've blown up a portion of an image found here which shows a pair of sunglasses found along with the security shirt during the early search of the island. Image on left.

It does appear as though the sunglasses being worn at right do have a wide frame similar to the ones in image at left. Unfortunately, it appears to be inconclusive. But it would be interesting to know if those are the same brand of sunglasses in both images.

Hopefully the ALE is looking into issues like this and eventually we will hear the results.

Pure speculation on my part but GVC's sister is an aruban police officer, his father runs the security company responsible for beach patrol and a few days after Dompig is replaced this kid is arrested. I think it's quite possible when Dompig was replaced GVC lost his protection.

The security shirt found on the beach was from GVC's father's company and had the initials GVC on the shirt. Tacopina said ALE says there is forensic evidence of some type on the shirt. If it turns out to be his shirt and his blood on the shirt it could mean he struggled with somebody and that somebody drew blood. Then not wanting to be spotted with a bloody shirt he decided he would bury it on the beach and come back for it later. Problem being in the interim the shirt was found.

I keep going back to that photo comparison about the shirt as well. It keeps haunting me, even though Dan spent hours "unlayering" that image and disregarded it as a piece of evidence. Dan, would you know if it was found in the same area?

Something does not sound right about these reports of rumor coming out of Aruba now. If GVC hindered the car, why did J2K not tell that when they were in custody? If there was anything to this GVC guy, J2K could have shifted the focus on him when they were in jail last year.

If you look closely at the pictures of GVC that are on all the MSM, and also in Dan's report here "Forensic Evidence In Holloway Case?", you will notice that in the official pictures of GVC he has a very distinctive mole on the left side of his face right below his cheek. So far most of the other pics that are being passed around the blog show that same mole so I would say these are indeed pics of GeoffreyVC and that he frequented the beach and tourist and mingled with the female tourist regularly. JMHO

It seems likely to me this man's arrest was timed to take advantage of a 3 day news black out. No paper coverage in Aruba Saturday, Sunday and Monday. So far I cannot find a single outlet showing reporters via any decent hook-up. When Joran and K2 were the focus, the media practically built remote stations on Aruba to convey every image and case twist available with perfect clarity.

Now they don't seem to care to report the only really big case news in months. If it's not Joran - it's not news.

We have not seen a "dossier" on this new suspect, never seen his home, his family or his lifestyle. In day 4 some media goofs still call him by his initials. There is no attempt, I can tell, to find where he blogs or posts picture albums. IOW - to the media, so far, Geoffrey is a big bore.

And that is because Geoffrey is not Joran. Ms Twitty discounts him with ease, slipping into her "the trio lied default" mode. She remains content to sue he and his father for "debasing Natalee" regardless of a shred of proof. Mr Holloway, predictably, sees a bit more hope in this arrest.

Jossie admits surprise. Greta has passed on racing off to Aruba because as John Gibson noted, "Greta owns this story" - apparently only if the story is Joran. She won't admit it, but Greta developed concerns about Joran guilt when she interviewed him and he did well recounting his version of events. Dan Abrams seems to be re-thinking things too.

But it sure would be nice to see Ms Twitty ignore her own boycott and start blasting away at the new arrestee, stalking his parents and home and workplacce with her cameraman. I'd like to see her visit the security firm owned by the father of GVC to grill uncomfortable workers - but that won't happen - because it might not relate to Joran and K2.

She will only accept this new twist if it helps "connect the dots to Joran and K2".

I think the new arrest is a good sign. Another good sign is the rather secretive sonar exam of an area that was in it's 2nd day yesterday - with no fanfare. Maybe they have some decent new leads via the new arrestee.

And maybe there will be justice and a solution, despite the Joran and K2 bias.

Beth Twitty is Natalee's mother. She is not a private detective, police investigator,forensic pathologist or criminal profiler. She "thinks" that the 3 suspects are guilty because they have lied and they have acted guilty. She may be wrong, she may be right.

This is the reason why families do not conduct their own investigations, because they are emotional, traumatized and desperate for any kind of answers or closure. They will grasp onto any fact they can to give them hope or a sense they know what happened.

I am sick of Beth being excoriated for doing what is normal for a grieving family member to do. IF the Arubans had conducted a decent investigation from the start then maybe she would not have felt the need to take her case to the public, she would have been confident ALE was vigorously investigating the case and would solve it if possible.

But instead she was treatd to the Dennis Jacobs/Gerald Dompig circus of freaks.

There is no doubt that Beth ignores certain information that she runs with something that fits her preconceived notion of the case before all the facts are in and that she wants to protect Natalee's memory [again, this seems a no brainer, what mother would want her missing daughter characterized as a drunken drug taking slut?? especially if it isn't true??]

It is also true that Beth has been right more than she has been wrong. She was right about the 'in and out of consciousness' statements made by Joran, as validated by Dompig. She was right about the statement by Joran that 'maybe' Deepak raped, murdered and burried Natalee. She was right that the security guards were wrongly detained and are innocent. She was right that the suspects were not properly interogated, searched or monitored in the first week of the case.

We have Dutch National Joran VanDerSloot, his Dutch Natl father (sort of judge). Now we have a Dutch National operated security firm which provides service to hotels, the government and the police. That man's Dutch Natl. son is being questioned. His sister is a police officer. Allegedly J2K do not know the man arrested (per their attys.). Yet, if true, Steve Croes knows all, J2K and man arrested. Why does it always seem in this case that everything and everyone connects back to government/police/judges, etc. And I am sure there are a dozen other things I am not thinking of that have happened and tie in in that way as well. And not only does this new one tie into the hotel areas/security, may have been on beach, there was also the shirt found elsewhere with the glasses, etc. AND he is a known figure in the party scene/tourist scene/bar scene. WHICH way does he tie in or is it ALL of those ways? And J2K do not know him but Steve Croes does (per people in Aruba allegedly)? Come ON, something still smells. Of course Croes did not KNOW J2K either, mm-hmm.

After a brief period of dormancy following almost a year of constantly being flashed in our faces, every night, the images of Natalee Holloway “video collages” showing her dancing amongst a troupe of “Drunkettes” (Mountain Brook High School’s Aruban version of Radio City Music Hall’s famous “Rockettes” ?), and other of her much publicized images, which have proven that if not a “Helen of Troy,” Natalee, in her much acclaimed “beauty,” with her hook-beaked nose, peroxide-blonde hair, and the two mosquito bites on her chest, though not capable of “launching a thousand ships” yet still managed to launch three Dutch F-16s at much expense to Aruba and the Netherlands, once again irrupt out of our television screens; albeit, this time justifiably so!

Oh, did I fail to mention? Beth is also back in her adoring “limelight” and will once more be appearing nightly with “exclusivity” on Faux News, as she did last night, to once more chew the cud! Just as Steven Spielberg’s Poltergeist: “....she’s baaaack!” Natalee may be dead, but Beth does the “Haunting”!!!

After endless months of nothing but, inflammatory rumors, malicious hear-says, baseless allegations, derogatory defamations, fantastic speculations, ludicrous conjectures, and of the fabricating and dissecting “ad nauseam” (a la HarryTho) of so much “conjectural,” “probable,” “evidence” to make even the false “evidence” on the infamous “Dreyfus Affair,” of the turn of the 20th century in France, pale in comparison, most of which, of course, was arrived at by “deduction” on many of the blogs following this sordid “Agatha Christie” styled case, at last, there has truly been a “break” in the case since June of last year worth reporting on national television; though much like in the “Fable” of “the boy that cried wolf “(in this case the “Beth Banshee that cried Joran”) many will no longer follow the developments of this fracas...out of sheer exhaustion!!!

How ironic that after all the calls for the “lynching” of Joran and the Kalpoe brothers, the “nuking of Aruba” and other such “drastic measures” (far more “Draconian” than deporting “illegal” Mexican immigrants back to Mexico, by the way) proposed by the more “zealous” Beth supporters, and other “Acolytes” of this “Mother Goddess Beth and her Sainted Natalee of Aruba daughter” sect which rivals Tom Cruise’s Scientology in its absurdity, and Reverend Jim Jones of Guayana Kool -Aid drinking followers in its fervor, that those of us “ heartless monsters” who advocated that J2K be “presumed innocent” until there was sufficient evidence to charge anyone in this case, may actually turn out to be right, and the “premeditating,” “cold and calculated,” “murdering trio” (who of course dissolved Natalee’s body in a vat of acid in Paulus Van der Sloot’s secret laboratory located in the “septic tank” on his property with the help of “Igor”....notwithstanding his plumbing connects to the sewers) may actually be INNOCENT, and the “Dutch boy with the blue eyes” newly apprehended, or others, may be responsible!!!

What is really sad is that while most of America’s “Conservative Base” (most Democrats are too busy in unrelentingly bashing Bush, undermining the Administrations’ policies and its gains - such as a robust economy the likes of which the Democrats have not seen in over half a century, and assuring of a “defeat in Iraq” to give a rat’s ass about Natalee!), has been kept “lulled” and “stupefied”by this “Soap Opera Melodrama” / “TV News Reality Show” with Beth merrily “traipsing” along in Aruba followed by her beloved ubiquitous cameras, the support for our troops wanes in a time of war, we waver in front of the looming, ever more menacing, Iranian nuclear threat, and we slowly but assuredly creep ever closer to the Democrats once again assuming control, so that they may resume the driving down our collective throats of their godless, homosexual, defeatist, “Secular Progressive,” “Politically Correct,” “Internationalist” (let’s open up the borders even more! This GVC was not considered a suspect when he was taken in. He went to the polis station as he was asked to. More for information.

kat gram, while GVC may have gone in to give information, the information that was developed during the first six hours, led the investigators to detain him for three days, which can only be done if he is a suspect, and then they have to justify their detention to a judge, which they have done, to hold for eight more days. That is how it works there. He is definitely a suspect now. What evidence they have and what role he is suspected of playing in NHs disappearance is not known.

Nice try getting yourself out of your failed attempt at humor. There was no "poignant" humor in anything you just wrote, so just be a grown and admit that you failed at something...that's all!! 1. There are no valid statements and there is no valid evidence that Natalee was going in and out of consciousness.

2. She is wrong about the Joran statement that Deepak may have, bla, bla, bla. Joran could say that xxx may have bla, bla, bla. He only knows what he did or didn't do. Get with it, xx.

1) Stop lying. Gerald Dompig said for a FACT that Joran stated sexual contact was occuring when Natalee was going in and out of consciousness and he and the prosecutor believed this should have constituted enough for a sexual assault charge. He said it to Dan Abrams. Get over yourself.

2) I am not wrong about Joran saying 'maybe' Deepak raped and killed Natalee, it is in the freaking unsigned statement witnesses by 4 Aruban cops. Again, it is a fact that he speculated this could have happened.

3) This is a rumor it has never been verified, if you can post a link to a report that has ALE saying the guards had MB property please do so.

4) Anybody with a brain can see they were not properly interogated or monitored in the first week, but that is a matter of opinion I suppose and not a fact. It is a fact that ALE said the 'surveillance' was loose and was not 24 hours a day...which to my mind makes it worthless.
