Natalee Holloway - Quick Update

Can't say much but based on a few bits of info received today from sources I have good reason to trust, I'm somewhat optimistic for the first time in months that this mystery may eventually come to an end.

I also think some are going to play it close to the vest in the meantime, possibly for different reasons. While I know there is some controversy as to whether some in MB including Natalee knew the individual currently being detained, or not - I'm confident some, including Natalee, did. But remember, it was a large group of students from MB. Just because someone says they weren't aware of it, it doesn't mean they are lying.

My info comes from a reliable source not aligned with either group, side, or lawyer but in a position to know.

I have to agree with you on that point Jack....When it comes to Aruban LE who know what the hell they do and why. If this case wasn't so tragic their errors would almost make a good comedy movie.

I don't care if BH was realted to Osama Bin Laden, it doesn't change the fact that this woman is looking to have her Daughter or daughters remains returned and justice served.

We want to attach BHT, but what about other people who have made comments. For example:

NH body was claimed to be found at one point last year, nobody calls them on this misinformation.

Dompig in March of 2006 says that NH probably buried and then moved another night? Why doesn't he get called on that kind of remark?

Van Der Staatan arresting two innocent black security guards and holding them for 10 days, violating their rights essentiall. Ooopos a mistake, why doesn't he get called on the carpet for that??

When Van Der Staatran said NH was probably dead in the first days of the investigation, where does he get that wreckless behaviour and why isn't he called on the carpet for it?

Of all the people to be seen with NH at the casion, Joran, this before the C & C meeting

At one point Anita said something like she was sure K2 brothers were involved, now she is STONE CALLED silent?? Why doesn't she have to answer for that comment?

But BHT makes a comment and we are ready to string her up...

I don't know who did what with NH, but three boys were last seen with her and then lied about two black security guards....I think we can START there....and keep the pressure on until we find out what happens

The truth is also that before JQK came aboard, nothing credible was happening in the investigation -- period. Back in October, KJ was writing letters to the US Justice department to see if Beth was related to Hitler!

I remember hearing stories about Joran crying and talking initially during his arrest. Then he was allowed to see Paulus and he stopped talking. I don't think he will talk anymore during any re-arrest. I think they had their chance early on and screwed it up.

It's going to have to come from someone else. But who?

Every single thing Joe T. has brought up has been discussed ad nauseum here for the last 11 months. Every night Joe T. resurrects another one of these "rumors." It is solely to "muddy the water." First it was Boeti, then the card keys, then the HI tape of Natalee, then it was the "beach molester", now it is "Natalee ran away". Come on, please! This is exactly what a defense lawyer does -- it's all nothing but regurgitated crap.

I believe, even after reading the taped conversation
between the J2K's that Joran and Co are still guilty.

I am NOT 100 % entrenched in my opinion. When I heard that Geoff VC was arrested, my reaction was WOW, Natalee's disappearance might be solved.

Now even that seems to be falling flat. Yes, they might have crossed paths, but so what ? Even the possession charge ... based on what... did he have drugs in his possesiion or not ! !

there has been no new information pointing at J2K since their arrests although a lot of people have been working hard to prove them guilty. It only makes sense to expand the horizons and include other scenarios as possibilities.

Gerold Dompig was fired before he landed back in Aruba from his visit to Holland. His 48 hours interview was already taped but not aired and when in Holland he requested resources for his futile search. His presentation was not impressive. In fact, legal scholars called the investigation "insane and unprofessional."

Dompig and Jacobs are responsible for the investigation and the opinion was unanimous.

Look at Aruba's own words and you can figure out who Joe Tacopina is defending.

Dompig: Natalee died of an overdose
Tacopina Associate: Beth is in it for the money
Rudy Croes: Wants to shut beth up

All roads lead back to Joran van der sloot, still the last person to see Natalee. It will be proven that the new suspect GVC was not on the beach. The bogus story still has no corroboration.

It has been a mantra from the beginning, the lack of evidence is the evidence. This is the focus of the investigation and the current strategy. By recreating steps in reverse, it will be shown that the case was solved and unsolved.

But the pivotal moment will still be how all these people assumed Natalee was dead and why?

Gerold Dompig tried to plea bargain, multiple times.

Most of what we are hearing are stories, written to give credence to the initial lies told by Joran Van der sloot.

What happened on the day Natalee was confirmed dead, and then the retraction? Did they have her body and then they didn't?

Until it can be determined with evidentiary proof that Natalee is dead, all the theories are just that, theories.

But there remains one important fact, and it's stayed the same since the first day.

Joran Van der sloot is the last person to have been with Natalee Holloway.

The attention will not stop until Natalee can be brought home and the authorities know this. I believe they also know exactly what happened to Natalee and where she is. But bringing Natalee home will implicate the Dutch on Aruba.

No body, no case. The lack of evidence is the evidence."

I am reading Dave's book and at first I did not
subscribe to the corrupt police, slow, inept, yes, but not corrupt. That comes from living in Canada.
Not that we don't ever have corruption, but it is not the way our Justice and Police operate.

Whatever way the ALE as operating in Aruba, it was going on for a long time before Natalee ever set foot on the island.

I am just amazed at the way this case was handled by the ALE. Aruba Dirty Police ! ! Yes. I go to that Website.

It occurs to me that the same lanquage used by ALE to arrest GVC this week was nearly identical to that used when they arrested Paulus, father of Joran.

They eventually released Paulus, could the same be true of GVC next week?

Beth had stated early on that Joran and Paulus had met Natalee in the casino. Paulus went home. She didn't go missing from the casino. Paulus said he was in the casino.

Last night on CNN, Dave Hollway did say that there
was a good possibility that GVC was in C & C's on the Sunday night. Along with several hundred other ppl.

Any " evidence " that they have against GVC will
turn out not to be evidence... that is my best guess.
