A Roman Catholic who has struggled at times to talk about his own faith, Mr. Kerry also told the group that he believed "deeply in my faith" and that the Koran, the Torah, the Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles had influenced a social conscience that he exercised in politics.
Kerry just can't help himself. I'd love for some reporter to ask him to cite anything he can recall from the Koran. I hate it when politicians say things which are so obviously constructed to make an impression and they aren't the least bit believeable.
The guy wants to score points with the morals and values crowd and comes off sounding like a comparative religion teacher.

All that social conscience he has gained from reading the gospels and the acts of the apostles!
It must be real hard for him then to be married to such a rich woman, incidentally the second rich woman he married!
Ah, poor thing, you have almost got to feel sorry for him!!!

Kerry reminds me exactly of one of my sleazier, more deranged bosses. It's not that he lies, it's that he cannot tell the truth, he is compelled by God knows what dark impulse to try to puff himself up in front of people, even people he knows can call him on his lies...

If you check out Kerry ancestry online, you will find that his family was named Kohn and was Jewish.
