These images (clickable) are alleged to be images of the 19 year old currently being detained in the Holloway investigation. I realize there are additional details about this individual posted around the Internet, including the suggestion that he may have been acting unusual after the topic of Natalee Holloway's disappearance was introduced in converstion on at least one occasion.
However, that information has not been confirmed by me as of now. If I am able to verify any additional information as solid, I will post it at that time.

I have just heard on the news that the new guys dad is responsible for all the video cameras on the island and especially including all video cameras at the Holiday Inn, just to add another twist. I think that Joran and friends are still responsible, and when I say friends, I mean more than the Kalpoes. Also heard that there is now a tape of the Kalpoes and Joran in the back of a police car talking when they didn't know they were being taped...anybody else heard this? Details?

No, the security company was responsible only for installing the video cameras at the HI, they do not maintain them.

They may only handle the beach area - they have several programs, which is why I said "might" they have their client list mixed in so you cant tell precisely what they handle where. But they do perform beach patrols.

Today's NY Post says that GVC was seen by Natalee's friends in the Holiday Inn casino with her, but when the casino's video camera tapes were turned over to police, they could find no sign of it. Also mentions a video tape showing her arguing with a light-haired young man on May 30th in a jewelry store in the Wyndham Hotel.

here is my problem...i am in multiple photos with people that i don't know. either one of my friends knows them or one of my friends friends knows them, we all happened to be out and someones got a camera. not that i'm saying they dont know each other, but they have been in each others company.

The picture of all the boys together was on a Aruba social website. The attended a private "coming out party" for some 16 year old female. There were pictures of JVS parents there as well as JVS brothers.

I heard about the cop car conversation between Deepak and Joran lastnight. I had no idea this was old news, but if it is, there's yer Uncle Bob!
Deepak tells Joran he's facing "16 years" if "they find the girl", and that he can kiss his scholarship good-bye. Joran then says something like "if you hadn't done that bad thing" and calls him an expletive.
How, I wonder, does Deepak know the penalties for certain crimes? And which crime gets you 16 years in Aruba?

Yes, it is certainly possible to be in a photos with someone yet not "know" them.

There is a moderate size block of people in this country who are not persuaded that Natalee is dead, although not necessarily in good company at the moment.
The chief virtue of CJV is that he might know who took her where, particularly so if allegations of drug connections prove out.
The circumstances of this apalling case are such that in the unlikely event Natalee is finally proved to be deceased, there are some people in the US who will follow the killer to his grave.

Interesting taped conversation made in back of police car! Someone with access to Aruban statutes might be advised to look up which Aruban felonies have a maximum penalty of 16 years. It will provide a short list of the types of problems or type crimes comitted against Natalee, alive or deceased.
At the very least it will sharpen interrogation. At best it could point to other suspects.

The pictures alleged to be showing Joran with GVC were up on the arubanboycott website until an hour ago. Wonder why they removed them now . The last thing that the case needs is more rumors and more lies no matter what source they originate from.
