There's been a new development in the story of how Hillary Clinton, Democratic leading light and presidential hopeful, in 2000 accepted $1.2 million from a two-time ex-felon, then lied about it to the Federal Election Commission.

I'm not a real big fan of Senator Clinton, but I wonder why the wingers are so certain she can't win.
What, Republicans don't like her? Whatever. Where did Republicans get the idea that it's the job of Democrats to nominate someone they'll like?
Talk all you guys want about what centrist voters think, but the fact is that the hardcore like you and me don't really have all that great a sense of how the non-hardcore are likely to break.
Here's a tip: If you really hate Hillary Clinton, you're a wingnut. Your vote isn't in play, and no Democrat cares about "reaching out" to you anyway.

I've had it up to here with the two parties. The Democrats are going to come back in and give us more of the same corrupt shit we've gotten from the Republicans, who continued the tradition from the previous Democrat reign. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. We need a third party and we need it now and we need to put the Clintons and Bushes in jail where they belong

WHO runs has much to do with how well they are liked OVERALL by the public. (as if they would nominate someone with a dynamite personality like oh, Lieberman)

They simply cannot stop themselves in the search for money.

Could she win?
You have the whole female president issue to overcome, but also being female she could draw some votes around that and the whole abortion issue. But then, if the republicans offer a female vice, the leverage might be lost. I do have a hard time seeing republicans defecting and voting for Hilary; They stick together like flies on shit..I mean just look how they stuck on Bush.
Given a McCain vs Hillary matchup, I would put money on McCain.
Not so sure about Frist.
...and then of course you have the whole question of whether a senator can even get elected to executive office anymore.

to tester: McGain I would put my money on him too... to be honest I think he would be a very good presidential candidate.
