I don't blame them. But I can also imagine the kind of pressure that officer is under. I wonder who from the Democrat party has already offered him some lucrative private security gig? Or maybe it'll come from Glover, Belafonte, or some other wealthy racist of that ilk.
McKinney is accused of striking a Capitol Police officer, after the officer failed to recognize her and stopped her at a security checkpoint.
Channel 2 Action News learned exclusively that the president of the largest police union in the U.S. met with the unidentified officer this morning to talk over possible legal action.
“We're going to make sure the officer won't be harassed. We want the officer to be able talk to experts, who can look at his legal recourses, if he needed to," says Chuck Canterbury, national president of the Fraternal Order of Police.
The F.O.P. has more than 320,000 members.

They've got my vote. Maybe this way, the race card issue will be avoided and justice will prevail untainted by threats and extortion. In addition, prople of her ilk will be put on notice that the times are a'changin.

The pressure from 321,000 fellow law enforcement officers to prosecute his case and represent, thus ensuring they don't all get treated like he did, while sending a very public message - will far outweigh any pressure that could be brought to bear by the McKinney camp.

Hey Bill, Did we miss the story where all these other people struck cops with cell phones? Or are you saying that because someone from the party you hate MAY have committed a non-violent crime that your party should be allowed to beat hell out of people then drag their name through the mud?

McKinnney is full of herself, above it all, thinks she's so "special" and should be prosecuted as a reminder to all public servants that that is just what they are-public servants and not "untouchable celebrities".

Rick I did not say that Mrs. McKinney should be allowed to just brush off
her act of civil disobedence however I do not believe that her crime ranks
up there with Libby, the President Cheney, Abramoff, etc. Why did it take so long for the Cia Leak investigation to get started? Perhaps the speed that the grand jury is applying to the McKinney case should have been applied to all the other scandals in Washington these days.
rummeys arrogance has caused the death of many young men and women. His total unwillingness to listen to the advice of the top generals in the military should be a crime! RUMMEY WILL BE GONE BY MONDAY!!!!!!
I hope Bush hangs on to him! I want rummey to stay right where he is now
in the middle of a firestorm! I am sure that you will justify the President declassfying the national intelligent documents do Cheney could
give them to Libby. The Democrats will win at least one house in Nov. if we could win both then we could issue our own suponeas and dig into the morass that is the Bush administration.Daddy made sure that little bushy was in the national guard (poor baby)!I was a MARINE CORPS PILOT and if I was scheduled for my yearly flight physical (which is conducted by a Navy Captian Flight Surgeon) and I decided to go to alabama instead, the FBI would have been on my tail for desertion, I would have had a General Court Martial and given a DISHONORABLE DISCHARGE, but I guess that is the difference between the UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS we did not play soldiers
we were MARINES!
