Is that even a word? A few things gave me a sense of timeless-ness today. I heard a short bit on the radio this AM about Roller Derby. lol Back in the day Trenton had a building called Moose Hall - the Fraternal Order of, I believe. And every Friday night the Roller Derby came to town. I think the Philadelphia Warriors were the favorite team around Trenton.
There was Little Richard and Judy Arnold, Buddy Atkinson, and more. Jammers and blockers, medical tables always pulled into the fighting. ha ha And elbows galore. It was the beginning of wrestle-mania, in a sense. I don't think I was even ten years old; a cousin of mine would take me ... and it was grand.
And then there was this. I still have a few of my Mom's - do you?
Oh and Happy St. Paddy's Day.

Oh the memories of the "skillet." When my Mom passed away, my siblings and I drew straws to see who would "win" the skillet. The memories of meals that originated with that skillet are plentiful.
By the way, I didn't wind up with the skillet!! Damn my older sister.
