At this point, Ben Domenech has not answered the allegations. So before jumping to conclusions it's best to wait to hear what he has to say. Given the drivel and nonsense the left has peddled as fact in the past, I'm inclined to think there's a logic... [Read More]

I would also encourage RedState to think very seriously about his role as a RedState blogger going forward.

Red State is standing by their man.

We may disagree on other aspects of this, but I'm glad we agree that plagiarism is unacceptable.

Hey, Dan - Thanks for correcting the record re. the previouis post you made about Domenech. If you're interested, an article that lays out the full story is here: http://dfire.org/x2186.xml And the original tiff is summarized here: http://www.spinsanity.org/post.html?2002_06_16_archive.html

I fixed the links too Mike - and added them up top. The periods you used killed the links.

The problem is not that he's red but that he's green. He does not know what he is or what he says. His contributions are painful. Accused of racism he writes about a black basketball coach who voted for Bush.
Red State's defense is as immature as he is

The problem is not that he's red but that he's green.

I agree. I'm not going near the whole racist, bigot thing at all. But even high school and college writing is usually done for some type of credit, grant in aid, or position - and it seems he didn't do his own work. On top of that he's a flamethrower - add that to his youth, and it isn't good for the right, the WaPo, or blogging.
