The world is going to hell - possible civil war in Iraq. A bunch of filthy rich Arabs are buying our ports. NJ wants to pass a law to give illegal aliens drivers licenses. The blogs and pundits are buzzing from one end of the media to the other, but everyone's missing the real story.
It's Friday.
So, eff it!. I'll worry about the fate of civilization come Monday, I've had a bad week!
Feel free to use this thread to vent, or chat about the NH case, or anything else. ; )

have a good weekend Dan. your work this week was right on target and appreciated.

Holloway story:
Watching interview was interesting...
A couple thoughts...
Getting home from the beach now entails...
McDonald's at 4am with Dad.
Satish Driving.
Deepak Driving , and Walking???
Did one or both K's go back after they knew she was there alone??
Did they tip off someone else to her being there??
There is still lying going on here... Deepak talking to the security guard in jail which he thought was a "Jamaican"..."Something bad happened to the girl".
Did she remain in the car that night?? , lifeless???
Was she carried into the car ??
Car cleaned on the strange part of the yard??
"She fell out of the car"...Is this to cover up an injury to her head , should she be found ??
Tim Miller finding the beach spot where someone was buried and removed?
Yes , there are records of the K house comp being on EARLY morning , but that really doesn't say if one or both of them are there!!!!!!!!!!
According to the interview papers Beth had ... N was at the Sloot house in & out of consiousness while having sex with Joran.
And I can't remember exactly who, but didn't one of the Polis spokes-people recently acknowledge that at least two of the 3 did have sex-activity with her?
The Polis and prosecutiom gets into a whole different case itself!
Are they covering? Silenced? FBI shut-out? Beach-tarp tapes?
Painting rocks? False Polis statements , and retractions in the news , and to the family?????????
I could go even further, but those are enough "not-knowns" right now...
SORRY FOR ALL THE SEQUENCE JUMPING !

AND... just watched the Nova interview in Dutch.
The next day with a girl missing , Joran is talking to Jug , and PVDS intervenes , and says "You say nothing" "You have no manners" "We are not in America"???? Deepak: "Joran you say nothing"!!!
All this over looking for a missing girl when you don't know , I am surprised these people aren't hiding their faces in a cave... You look like fools!
Deepak sure did dis-appear...No interviews for Mr. Nervous!

CARTE BLANCHE to VENT??? WOW! What an offer! Seriously the last week has been one of the longest I can ever remember - hurry up Spring!
Anyone have any good jokes?
Posted by: lurking | Friday, February 24, 2006 at 12:27 PM
Also...
Interesting to learn Joran had "No Fear at all" , of being taken into custody and questioned.
I'd be scared to be fingered as the last to be seen with a girl missing for 10-11 days!!!
Does he know at this point there is nothing to be found???
Are the Polis un-aware at this point what has really happened , but Sloots and higher govt. figures know they are all set???

Ok, haven't posted on here in a LONG time, but I had to say that I'm sorry you've had a bad week.
NH stuff last night wasn't really "breaking news" and didn't really show too much to me. Psych 101 will tell you that the blinking of the eyes and looking away while answering questions is suspect though.

Joke, (sort of a joke) from father in law:
A Damn good plan
Okay, here's the plan:
Back off and let those men who want to marry men, marry men.
Allow those women who want to marry women, marry women.
Allow those folks who want to abort their babies, abort their babies.
In three generations, there will be no Democrats!!! Damn, I love it when a plan comes together.

Forgive me for only seeing the perverted point here, but if Natalee was falling asleep while having sex with Joran, he must not be very good in bed.
Just saying.

Dan, thanks for the great site and all the hard work you put into being informative and sharing your information with us. Sorry you had a bad week. Next week will most likely be better (it's in the odds). If not, read below, maybe it will make you smile.
Joke: Old man sits on porch every morning to watch the sun rise. This week was very different. On Monday, a boy walking down the street with a bale of chicken wire, old man says "Whatcha gonna do with that chicken wire, boy"? Boy says "I'm gonna catch chickens with it". Old man laughs at him. That afternoon, boy comes back down the road with three chickens. Old man shakes his head not believing what he sees.
Tuesday morning, old man goes to porch. Young boy comes down the street with duct tape around his wrist. Old man says "Whatcha got there today, sonny"? Little boy says "Duct Tape". Old man says "What you think you gonna do with it"? Boy says "I'm gonna catch me some ducks." Old man says "Boy, you've gone mad, you can't catch ducks with duct tape"! That afternoon, boy comes back down the road with 4 ducks in tow. Again, old man shakes his head in disbelief.
Wednesday morning, here comes that boy again just as the old man steps out of his door. Old man says, "boy, watcha got today"? The boy, shaking what looks like sticks in his hand says, "Pussy willow". Old man says "Wait right there, I'm going to get my coat and hat"

i guess it's okay for a filthy rich company to run U.S. ports, but "filthy rich arabs" ... how terrible!

I've had a long, crappy week too. It brings me great comfort in knowing that when working with legal documents one can mispell the word "use" to read "sue" and change the whole outcome of a document. *big evil grin* I really didn't do that, but wish I did. Hope your next week is better. Smile :-)

hey dan, sorry you had a tough week. I remembered the generous offer and now, now I want to vent...
I just watched Bob Costas interview Sasha Cohen. God, was he ever tough on her. Poor kid, she is 21 years old and she did her best. What is wrong with us in this country? What happened? Doing your best isn't good enough any more? Costas interviewed her like she was the starting pitcher being paid millions of dollars who was expected to bring in fans and revenue for the owners. Hey, Bob, this is the Olympics. Sasha is America's kid. She was on top after the short program. She pulled her groin and was wrapped up and still, still did those jumps. Didn't you see her come off the ice and tell her coach "I tried but my leg wouldn't let me do it"? Come on Bob, give us a break. The ice in Turino has been rough. When have you seen so many skaters fall. These are the best. Remember the ice dancing, how many in a row, 5? Everyone has been doing their best. Just because you and your ilk predicted that they have to get Gold or Silver or Bronze because they are "the best" doesn't mean that everything will come together to bring this about. Every medal, that every American kid brings home is a blessing and every American kid who competes is our national treasure. We had better be careful, cause the words and thoughts of Mr. Bodie Miller are becomming a reality. Pretty soon American kids will begin to think that competing is not what counts. That good sportmanship is not what counts. That just being there is not important. They will begin to think it only matters if you win. If that happens noone will even want to bother to compete because if you don't compete, you can't lose, can you?
Thanks dan, for the luxury of venting space. Appreciate it and you .....

He's a dwarf and has no business criticizing anyone. ; )

Fiery,
wow... Thanks for your rant. I've had this nagging little diatribe going on in my brain for the last two days, and it's been driving me nuts. I was on a 'big' blog the other day reading posts, and one of the posts was titled something like - "Does Anyone Care About The Olympics". Mostly older guys on this blog.. I read the first comment: "Yawn." I read all the comments, each one more disparaging and dismissive of the Olympics, and by the time I reached the end, I was salivating with such fury I had to get up and leave my office just to get away from my computer. I went to bed that night and my mind started composing. I couldn't stop it, and it still goes on. What have we come to when it's okay to blow off the Olympics as some boring event that is all about commercialization? It made/makes me so sick. I so want to go back to that blog and slap those cynical, bitches (all men) and ask them what in the hell made them lose sight of the one thing good that ties this world together. Geeez... so much went through my mind from the proud athletes marching in with their country's flag, to the young adults having their moment for glory after years and years of practice....the parents with their fingers crossed. I have trouble watching the Olympics, myself, but not because they bore me. It is because the passion does me in and makes me cry.
And those oh-so-smart and oh-so-self-righteous bastards could only blow it all off with YAWN.
god, I hate this world sometimes. No.... mostly I hate cynics - those who have lost sight of passion and its immense power for good. unh.... feel the need to leave my computer now for a bit.... Thanks, fiery. And you, too, Dan...
