Perhaps a bit of both. That's my take on how our media and now much of the world is greeting certain Muslim lawlessness in the face of a dozen or so cartoons. I'm glad to see Krauthammer agrees. Heck, he's smart. It's a great read. And Tim Blair elaborates, as opposed to collaborates, like CNN and the NYTimes - and several other cowards of note. Funny I see O'Reilly has gone on about the issue. Has anyone seen him show the cartoons?
In essence, our media is negotiating with terrorists by refusing to run the cartoons. And that is NEVER a winning proposition. Well, the media isn't really negotiating ... they just caved. Don't take my word for it, check out Krauthammer agrees.
What passes for moderation in the Islamic community -- "I share your rage but don't torch that embassy" -- is nothing of the sort. It is simply a cynical way to endorse the goals of the mob without endorsing its means. It is fraudulent because, while pretending to uphold the principle of religious sensitivity, it is interested only in this instance of religious insensitivity.

I haven't seen O'Reilly show any of the cartoons, but Brit Hume has.

Charles Krauthammer is my favorite. Michael Barone second favorite.
Brit only showed one cartoon 'for reference'.
