Yes, the world must come to a stop due to the Muslim cartoons recently in the news. And the MSM doesn't even dare to show them. But stuff like this below ... hell, they can run that stuff anytime. And they often do.
CNSNews.com - A conservative advocacy group accuses NBC of "hitting back" at the Christian community in an upcoming episode of "Will and Grace."
The April 13 episode will mock the crucifixion of Christ, the American Family Association said.
AFA pointed to wire reports saying that Britney Spears will make a guest appearance on the April 13 "Will and Grace," playing a conservative Christian sidekick to Sean Hayes' homosexual character, Jack.
When Jack's fictional TV network, Out TV, is bought by a Christian TV network, Spears hosts a cooking segment called "Cruci-fixin's."
"To further denigrate Christianity, NBC chose to air [the episode] the night before Good Friday," AFA Founder and Chairman Donald E. Wildmon complained.
"NBC does not treat Jews, Muslims or other religions with such disrespect. Yet the network demonstrates a deep of hostility toward followers of Christ."

It's only a tv show. Don't like it - turn it off or switch channels.

Tell that to the muslim's who get the panties in a wad over cartoons they could turn the page on Lucky. Where in the freak did Muslim's all of a sudden have more sympathy in a country founded on Christian principles?! It drives me crazy that these organizations like the ACLU will call themselves "faur" and poise themselves as concerned over everyone's equal rights but blantantly disregard anything to do with something inherently offensive to Christian's or caucasians for that matter! But it is so not surprising considering that God told us if we were believers that we were aliens in this world, and not the Tom Cruise alien spacecraft dropping off unwanted aliens in a mountainside type of alien, either. The good news however is we know how His story will end. In the meantime where's the American Christian Liberties Union?

No problem. There's lots to make fun of in all religions.
Cook away, draw away ...

Dan- the difference is....as a Christian, I can be offended, but I won't kidnap anyone and behead them.
The message the world is sending these radical muslims is that if you threaten us with violence, we will do whatever you say. And it is working....all over the world.

I'll tell ya something.
I had a guy, whose name happens to be Guy, make a comment yesterday that was dead right on. He said maybe all this ridicule of Islam will make a difference.
I think he has a point.
Not sure if the Muslims will be so quick on the uptake, but stop and think about it.
The more Islam is brought to the fore and the more it is portrayed as something OTHER than some sacrosanct, untouchable and holier than thou organization, the sooner it'll be reduced to what it REALLY is.
Just another belief system.
Sorry Dan, for some reason I couldn't embed these links.

you know, I'm not sure witch is worse. The fact that NBC planed to air this segment, or the fact that they chose to have Jacks homeasexual network bought by a christian network. I haven't seen all the details of how that would have come about, or how that whole idea would be handeled, but it seems a little odd to me that this "christian network" would buy, or want to have anything to do with a homeasexual network. Also, if you take a step back from the content of the segment, isn't Bretney Spres an interasting choice to play a "conservitive christian?" We are getting soo cought up in the message, and intent of this one segment, but I wonder what the underlaying message is here. Just a little food for thought.
