dan,
Am I supposed to get a cartoon. I clicked the link three times and this is what I get: http://www.memeorandum.com/
Is there something in your post that I am missing?

Biz, I took it as a reference to the cartoons causing the frenzy. Not so much as linking to a cartoon.

the link "we are all danes now" will take you to a great commentary written by jeff jacoby for the Boston Globe, which discusses how other religious groups are willing to take their lumps when criticized or mocked without threatening to kill the opposition and how this hurts the tarnished muslim image even more - also mentions a moderate muslim news editor who called for a reasonable reaction and lost his job (as he said: what brings more ill will to Islam, a cartoon or a picture of a hostage taker slitting someone's throat?) - definitely worth the read - i've printed it to use in my classes for discussion this week - freedom of speech, censorship, intolerance issues abound

Personally, I'm offended, profoundly offended, by people who burn embassies and destroy the property of others because they claim to be offended by cartoons.
