What Planet Is The Fox News Anchor From?

LMAO Gawd - just happened to hear the TV with some woman on Fox interviewing Beth Twitty. The anchor started by saying she knew how long and hard Beth has been trying to get the ALE to come to Mountain Brook to question the other students from the trip. Is she crazy? Then Beth faulted ALE for not doing it within three or so days of Natalee's disappearance.

What a total bunch of nonsense all around. Beth always seemed to question the ALE's desire to come to Mountain Brook from the time it was announced, and she never seemed to be pushing for it, anyway. And there was no way she wanted the ALE to do anything but question and arrest the three boys from day one.

What an absolute bunch of bunk Fox News is putting on these days. Have they no professionalism or standards at all? Geesh!

The whole show was a farce. The anchor - Julie Banderas asked about Joren's car. Any fool that has been following this case knows it was Deepak's car. The panel she had on the show was absolutely clueless.

Beth Twitty always said the students (aka "children" later changed to "young adults") could add nothing and she didn't see why they needed to be interviewed. NOW she's been all for it all along?!?

I too watched it and thought it was scripted. I'm sure Beth is glad Fox is "helping" her to act like she didn't care if the students were interviewed when we all know it is the exact opposite. To those of us who keep up with the case, we can see these discrepancies right in front of us on the tube. It appears Fox is "aiding and abetting."

I actually started coming to this blog because of the natalee holloway story. I know some ppl are tired of the story. But I personally am interested in it and hearing different ppls views. FoxNews has become just like all the rest. Actually worse because it successfully established the "fair and balanced" claim. People who don't read much can be very easily misled. Greta Van Scientologist saw a cheap ratings boom in the appealing, outspoken blonde Mom with the missing pretty blonde daughter. It took Greta exactly 30 seconds to pounce, and set up shop on the tropical island. The two desperate women have been feeding off each other since last May. It is pathetic, and Beth's physical appearance shows the strain. She looks like a walking dead woman, which is sad and tragic. But my sympathy has run out. The woman is on some kind of bizarre mission only she understands.

This latest bit of lying is outrageous, but entirely logical. Fox and Twitty must play the roles they've established and honed to perfection... the show must go on! Good for Dan, keeping tabs and noting the deception.

I bet that most of these people have never given time or money to any of their local search and rescue events. Who gives a flying flip of how Beth portrayed her opinion of MB interviews on FOX? It has NO bearing on how this "investigation" was botched from the outset by ALE. I was always under the opinion that it was a simple "lack of ability" to handle such cases. After seeing this unfold for 8 months -- I am now convinced it is a combination of total ineptness, cronyism, a desire to protect their tourism reputation, and yes; -- corruption. Aruba's "spokesperson" is either an idiot, a liar, or a puppet -- take your pick. If that does not happen, then we can add the boys to that group of suspected murderers among us that law enforcement has been unable to prosecute, or convict. As for Fox, they are not really the news, but are entertaining as hell. O'Reilly is an obvious pawn of Karl Rove and an attack dog for the right, but somehow I can't stop watching him. You have GOT to be kidding. I am in complete agreement with Dan that one can no longer turn to Fox News and expect to get the true story of anything. And, they have done THEMSELVES in by allowing some of their "news" shows to be for entertainment purposes only. It is just like you can't be just a little bit pregnant - you are or you are not. Fox no longer is credible as a news provider due fact that there have been so many distortions in the name of enhanced ratings and for the entetainment value.

Dan, I also watched that on Fox last night, and thought it was just pathetic. I want to be supportive of Beth because she is the mother of a missig/possibly murdered child. However, if she wants to keep getting support from people, she's going to have to present her better and learn to correct these so-called "reporters" when they state things that are just so obviously false. And, she's got to stop whining. It would have been so much better if she had just stated that she's glad ALE is doing this, and she hopes it helps. Period. End of story.

I agree with her that it's probably totally useless and Aruba is just doing it for show - however, her whining about it won't change things.

There's no way I think Natalee deserved to die. However, as a mother, I think I would have to admit that my child had some responsibility for keeping herself safe. It's OK that Natalee and her friends were drinking - I don't have a problem with that. But she did leave without her friends, and her friends didn't stop her. They should have had a buddy system.
