A glowing misrepresentation of the facts presented by a less than glowing failed candidate, sans beard and perhaps paunch ... no wonder they lose elections.

This is true, but possibly it might have been because he went to Cuba and spent a month with Castro in learning public destabalization techniques...
Even today, I would want to know why any public figure would go to Cuba for any sort of training, other than processing cigars....even the communists can do one thing well!

Like I have always said, listen to the MSM, think the opposite, and you will be right most of the time. I find it amazing that a lot of people on here criticize the MSM almost vehemently, then accept exactly what they preach as gospel...
but they are not brainwashed, of course.

At the time, COINTELPRO operations also went on, King was involved in such ops. With Gore presenting tribute to MLK, he did alot of comparsion from history to present...Regardless who presented this Drudge report, glad someone of importance took the opportunity to speak on both Dem & Rep responsiblities in support of our Constitution and Bill of Rights. A major factor here, 'taking the time to education themselves on Bills before voting on them', seems reasonable, that's these folks damn job.
This presentation was very much on the same note as MSM FoxNews and domestic spying...several televised Bush speeches assuring warrants...yet there were warrantless surveillance...Hope more people read this report.
