Information starting to come out raises more questions as regards husband and father Neil Entwistle and a possible incvolvement in the murders of his wife and daughter.
Apparently Neil Entwistle isn't planning on returning to the US for the funerals and sources also seem to confirm that he was in the country at the time of the slayings.
Neil Entwistle has basically revealed that he probably won't be returning for the funeral of his wife and baby. That's pretty suspicious. No question about that.
"She also revealed that Neil didn't wonder about where his wife was. I mean, she was basically dead for a few days. He wasn't the one calling police, wondering how she was doing.
Yet, the British press seems to be taking another possible view of the story:
As grieving father in Boston 'execution' case is released after a day of questioning, the discovery of threatening e-mails suggests his wife was the target of a hate campaign
Police are investigating the Entwistles' business interests, which encompassed an address in York and another in London's Clerkenwell, along with interests in the murky world of internet pornography and get-rich-quick schemes. Officers said that the family could have had formidable enemies.

Why the momma and baby though? Uhhggg!

I cannot began to imagine anyone, I mean anyone, that would put a bullet in a baby like that. This is just too sickening. The mom loved that baby so much you could tell. She looked so happy.
"Who ever" did this for "whatever reason" is just not human. I hope this want be another unsolved case of who dun it. This is one of the worst things I have heard lately. It hurts my heart to think about it.

John- I read somewhere that parents who kill thier spouse will oftentimes kill the children as an act of twisted "mercy". As in: BECAUSE the mother loved the child so much, or the child can't live without the mother....etc. The spouse is killed in anger, but the child in guilt.

22 to the head, sounds mobbish. Anyone done a background on the wife's family background? Sounds like Matterazzo and Souza might have interesting 'family' backgrounds.

It is obvious that the husband had something to do with it.Uninterested people don't shoot babies in the head. How many people do you think would have a motive to murder a baby via a bullet to the head? people kill other people for basically 3 Reasons. Money,Sex,Revenge. Now who do you think could have those motives?

of course the husband had something to do with it..even if he didnt personally pull the trigger....even if here were in England on personal business, wouldnt he still have come home for the funerals at the very least??? He didnt. He killed them, even if it was indirectly.

I believe the husband was responsible for both the murders...even if he didnt personally pull the trigger. The man is in England....and not even coming back for the funerals of his wife and daughter! Some loving husband and father, eh? He's still responsible for their deaths, even if only indirectly.

this murder is sickening and what makes me even more sick is the increasing amount of the sociopats killing their wives and babies... it seems that the pregnancy is becoming a risky business...

From what I read the baby was not shot in the head but in the torso. Anyway this is sick and if the husband was involved he should be made to pay for his actions...

The only way he didn't do it is if he the husband owed someone money and or offended someone so bad that they threatened to kill his wife and daughter if he didn't pay up - which he then decided to leave the country and to hell with his wife and daughter and then that person actually went through with it.
But then again if this is his defense then he DID kill her in my book. He seems like a coward.
I swear these psycho men think that if they married a woman that they own her and have the right to play god over her - JUST LEAVE HER!!!!!

I have not been able to get this story out of my head since I heard about it.. I am sure he has something or everything to so with these murders!! I just can't imagine anyone doing something like this... The poor baby and mother! All of you are right, he had everything to do with the murders and may god have mercy on his soul!
this story reminds me of the laci peterson story, diffrent yet, the same.. Husband murding his wife and child! I can't beleive this! I am sick over this and can't stop thinking about it!! I am soooo sad!!
Let's see what excuse he tries to come out with to get out of this one! Good bless Rachel and baby Lillian Entwistle! And their family who is suffering so much I am sure! Ahh!!

This story is so sad I have not been able to get it out of my head. Seeing that beautiful baby's pictures on the news every day. I can't believe a father would do that to his own precious child. And Rachel was a beautiful lady.
I hope he rots in hell for what he did. What gives him the right to play God? There is such a thing as divorce.

Neil Entwistle is a very sick and twisted thing. I do not want to call him a human being and I sure do not want to call him a man. If Rachel and baby Lillian were awake the last face they seen on this earth was the face of someone that would kill for them if they were in danger BUT not kill them. He was to be their protector from evil people. This is when I wish it was like in the old days and everyone could go watch a hanging. He is another Scott Petterson and the rest of his life on earth needs to be HELL for him. He will have to look his MAKER someday in the eye!! May God be with all of Rachel and Lillians family and may He also be with Neils family because I am sure they are heartbroken also over this. God Bless!!!

This case just seems to get stranger and stranger...how could the police have searched the house THREE TIMES before they found the poor mom and baby? Anybody remember playing hide and seek as a kid, and how tough it was to hide under a blanket without being seen? We're talking about a grown woman here. It seems very fishy. I recall hearing on CNN that Entwistle wound up in England "not remembering how he got there," though I have not seen this reported on any site. Rachel's mother declared that she thought Neil was some sort of "secret government agent," and he apparently was previously employed by QinetiQ, a security and defense research company that has its fingers in every scientific pie from aerospace technology to nanotech to robotics to quantum cryptography. Also, threatening emails to Rachel have apparently been discovered, and one neighbor wondered if the couple might have been on the run from something or someone.
Ultimately, what do we do with all this information? I'm trying to piece it all together, and anyone else looking for answers (or finding them!) is welcome to contact me.

Can you believe this jerk. I have 3 boys one four months old. It haunts me to know that a man with no balls can go and take not one but two human lives. Like Scott Peterson he should not have been allowed to have a beautiful child like Lillian. My nephew is in heaven and I bet he is taking care of this sweet little person who will never have a first date or get married or have children of her own. People should be given a test before having children.

This story is absolutely heartbreaking. In my mind the only logical reasoning for Neil to go back home to England, would be because people were after him, killed his family, THEN he fled and won't come back for the funerals in fear of his own life. TO me this is the only "excuse" that could make him innocent. I like to try to look at both sides and have an open mind, they haven't finished their investigation yet. I pray to God he's not another Scott Peterson. I've done alot of reading on him and this CERTAINLY reminds me of that. I pray for both families in this heart breaking agony. God Bless the families and God Bless Rachel and Lillian. Justice must be served!!

This story beyond breaks my heart. Those two angels just glow when they were together. It reminded me of me and my daughters. As for Neil... Broke and unhappy with sex life. Hmmmmm. Has he ever heard of divorce. Instead pay a 3 month lease with cerified checks and live there for 10 days. Can we say STUPID!!!!! I hope hear hears his poor helpless baby that loved him UNCONDITIONALLY screaming in agony as she bleeds to death. I am speechless and saddened. Words cant describe him. I heard a segment on fox news about his actions. "Even Satan will throw him out because even he has his standards!!!" Fits so well doesn't it?

Rachel Entwistle was my English teacher for a year and it almost killed me when I found out what happened. The school really was shocked into silence when the news broke out. Neil Entwistle deserves a ridiculously long prison sentence for what he obviously did. A death sentence would be letting him off too lightly. He deserves to rot in jail.

Hi Rachel's students. I would like to mention here that there's a site up in memory of Rachel and her sweet baby Lillian. In this site there's a section titled "Special Memories" that will open soon for students and friends of rachel that want to leave special memories of her or just special comments. It is a hope that Rachel's family might want this site to keep for themselves someday in the future, so please feel free to keep checking and add your personal memories of your dear teacher Rachel...thank you!
