Neil Entwistle - How Did I Get Here?

It seems husband and father to murder victims Rachel and Lillian Entwistle purports to be suffering from some confusion. Interesting, given that it appears he was coherent enough to remember to call an attorney.

FUGITIVE dad Neil Entwistle phoned the family of his murdered wife and said: “I can’t remember how I got to England - is it true Rachel and Lillian are dead?”
The 27-year-old IT expert told Rachel’s stepdad Joe Matterazzo in the US he was “confused”.

A family source said he was “distraught” after being told Rachel, 27, and their nine-month-old baby Lillian had been shot dead at their home near Boston, Massachusetts.

Evidently he was recently spotted leaving his home.

Far be it from me to be an apologist for Neil Entwistle, but all this sounds like shades of Joran and Co, and we already have the rumour mill putting out this stuff. How much of it is actually true, and how much the lynch mob at work. I have already heard several things put out on tv in the US, which are not panning out with what we are seeing on our news here in UK. We have also been told that he does not have an attorney, which makes sense as it is usually the 'suspects' from US who get attorneys in right off, e.g. Jon Benet's family, where the rumour mill was churning it out right off.

Oh my G**!!! Confused? Right...like everyone is going to believe that. What the hell has he been doing for over a week. Do you think he is just sitting at his parents house NOT SAYING A WORD? For over a week? No way! This stinks like the early beginnings of an insanity plea...like something you could use as a defense here in the US. He is not a stupid man and knows sooner than later he will have to answer questions. Does he realize that a insanity defense is no longer a viable option in the United States? Well...he is a Brit and possibly doesnt know that. No one gets "off" for temporary insanity any longer....NO ONE. He is a liar...he is a murderer. The Boston police and DA already know whats what and he will be indicted. Just think of the pain and absolute agony the family of Rachel and Lillian are going through. She was only 27...and that baby...they were beautiful. You could tell she just loved her with all her heart. I am just hoping things move fast here because this guy is a killer.

I don't believe Neil killed his wife and daughter but I do believe his wife and daughter are dead because of Neil. Another way to put it is Rachel would be alive if she never met Neil Entwistle, and I'm betting that is the way Rachel's parents feel also; note no mention of Neil in the family's obit for Rachel and Lillian. In my opinion Neil got Rachel caught up in his internet scams or some other shady business deal and screwed over the wrong person or persons. I think said person threatened Neil with his life and Neil thought he'd fly over to England to lay low for a while, probably never thinking anything would happen to his wife and child. I think said screwed over person went to the Entwistle house and when Neil wasn't there, unfortunately Rachel and Lillian were and paid the ultimate price. Neil has not avoided flying back to the U.S because of the fear of getting arrested for the murders, it's my theory that Neil hasn't flown back to the U.S because he's afraid of getting killed himself. That also makes some sense why he hasn't yet talked to the police. A combination of tremendous guilt and a fear that telling the police what he knows will expose himself more to his wife and daughter's killer.

I do not buy that Neil is 'afraid' to come back here because of other evil people who killed his wife and baby. Give me a break. That would be so unbelievably cowardly, if true. And, it makes no sense he would not come here to go to their funerals out of respect for them. Period.

Neil's own behaviors continue to make me suspicious of him. Sorry, but I have to roll my eyes at people being so concerned about not judging Neil right now or whatever. We are not hurting him by expressing our skepticism of his story. And, why worry so much about him? Who the heck was worrying about his wife and baby, bless their souls, when the trigger was pulled to kill them???

Mr. Ent was in the United States when Rachel and Lillian were murdered. Tapes and ticket info from Logan now confirm this. Also, he parked his car at the airport where they have a time/date stamp. They even have him on film at the airport. Im telling you the "confused" thing is just the beginning of some type of defense. He even now says he cannot remember how he got to England. What a liar! His parents know what happened; at least most of it. They wont talk because its their son. (shades of Jackie Peterson). And I did read somewhere that Rachels stepfather does have a extensive gun collection. It wouldnt be so far fetched to think she would be given one for protection OR.....hmmmm...MAYBE IT WAS STOLEN BY NEIL? They did live with them no more than 10 days before....

This breaks my heart. All of it. Today is Rachel and Lillians funeral. Say a little prayer for them and her family. Life will NEVER be the same, ever.

Neil not coming to the funeral was kind of a "given", wasn't it? I really was not expecting him to be there, and don't understand why this seems to be such a big surprise to some.

I would think being that his family was just murdered he would be able to get police protection to go to the service....

I would not be surprised if Neil had admitted himself into a hospital. A very sad day today. A woman who had her whole life to live and her beautiful baby daughter who had not even taken her first steps yet. So very sad.

Jaden...I read about the confirmation re: tapes/ticket/parking stamp on line from a newpaper. I wish I could remember which one. I do remember that in the article a friend of both Neils & Rachels were with them only weeks before in their own home not too far away from the newly rented murder scene. In fact, the directions to their place was left on the front seat of the car parked at Logan. If I find it again, I will of course, post it. (think it was in the Boston Globe?). Finding confirmation of tape/ticket/parking is easy since 9/11 and am sure the Boston PD had that info right away.

What I cannot get is the fact that for a week he said NOTHING! Then...all of a sudden he says..."oh, Im confused. They are...what...dead?". WRONG ANSWER ! ! ! ! If he was so confused, why didnt his parents call a doctor??? Maybe he was ill??? No, they didnt. He hasnt talked until the above comment. Someone please explain what that crap is all about....? Please...no WEIRD scenarios either!

To get the almost the very latest, go to the newspaper in town....www.bostonherald.com. Alot of info one might pick up. Also, Joe from the Herald was on O'Reilly and said autopsy results were in and that the DA has sealed them. The only info released is that the baby died within minutes....but would not release the exact date of death. They are making the CASE....

First of all I would like to say "Rachel and Daughter Lillian Rest in Peace and may God always be with them very close by." The school in Worcester UK are holding a memorial service for Rachel and bay Lillian today (Thursday 2 February 2006) where Rachel taught as a Teacher. I must say every time I see Neil Entwistle's face I just wanna put my fist through it. He is SLY, DECIETFUL, SICKLY and I could go on. He is not a man he is the DEVIL. You can see evil in him. He may be educated but all for the wrong reasons. I hope that one day we can all read the good news to his arrest. Why did he suddenly go into hiding the day of Rachel's and Lillian's Mass service and not even attend the funeral of his own flesh and blood. It was stated in the UK papers that his Lawertold him not to attend. What a load of RUBBISH. You would of attended even if someone told you not to. I know I would of done for my loved ones.

Gotta think that Entwistle must have lost his security clearance for his ebay and porn scams. He would not have been employable at the defense firm in MA or England. Maybe he was trying to sell or scam secrets to the Ruskies and couldn't deliver the goods and they offed his wife and baby in retaliation. I wonder if Defense Dept and Intel agencies are checking this case.

This tragedy is reminiscent of the Lacey Peterson trial. Neil Entwistle cannot "remember" how he got to England. He didn't "know" that his wife and child were dead? Well, were they alive when he left them to board the plane? The whole "confusion" reeks of an upcoming insanity defense. Reading their ebay feedback from their company SRpublications, it was very obvious that Neil Entwistle is a scam artist looking to get rich quick. I am willing to bet that there is a large insurance policy somewhere and that Mr. Entwistle was in financial trouble with some bad people. Insurance and murder often go hand in hand.

From the article in People magazine about this case, if its true he tried ripping people off on Ebay and had some moneymaking con product scheme, Entwistle wasn't exactly mister innoncent so going to the cops if the deaths were NOthis fault would be a prudent, if self-serving choice. I really have a problem with the idea that he is innocent when he obviously hightailed it to England just before the bodies were found. Its too early to find out WHY he killed them if he did of who would kill them if he didn't shoot them. As an ebayer whose been cheated and burned twice, I can see if this guy was a cheater how someone else could have killed his wife and baby.
