As I pointed out in previous posts, while it looked ominus and there may still be a lot to be explained, apparently Neil Entwistle is NOT a suspect in the murder of his wife and daughter, Rachel and Lillian Entwistle. However, he may be a witness and could have been in the home at the time of the murders. My full coverage here.
POLICE yesterday said Brit Neil Entwistle was NOT a suspect over the murder of his wife and baby daughter.
But he is a “potential witness” — and four plainclothes American cops arrived in Britain to interview him.
Mr Entwistle, 27, has been in contact with US police after taking a flight from Boston, Massachusetts, to London.
District Attorney Martha Coakley said initial inquiries suggested he was in the US when wife Rachel and nine-month-old Lillian died from a single bullet at home.
He bought the ticket two days before the flight, which was either last Friday night or early Saturday.
Ms Coakley said there were no plans to bring the unemployed IT worker back to the US.
She added: “The only thing I will say is we’re interested in getting some information from him.
“I will say he has been cooperative. He is not considered a suspect.”
Update: In the form of a question. Do you think this is legit? Or is it just a means to get him back in the US?

IMO he is if he was in a "shady" business, then he had to have known he was putting his family in danger. UHGHGGG. JLAM!

he should be put in jail just for watching his wife and innocent baby get killed and doing nothing and then running like a coward - funny how HE managed to come out without a scratch

I don(t think it is just a means to get him back in the US. The UK has no problem with extradiction of their own citizens to the US or other countries, they usually do it very quickly.

His wife and baby were found shot in his home. Why isnt he on the first flight back to the US on account of that alone, regardless of what the police think of him?

I am very curious to know how it is that the police and the family entered the house looking for the mom and baby in the two days between the murders and the discovery of the bodies yet never saw them lying on a bed. How big was this house anyway? On the scale of Versailles?

This is definitely a ploy to get him back to the United States, but, for good. The UK and the USA know what they are doing. The USA has two of its citizens murdered. The UK is not Iran. Not to mention, "we are all set with this guy, and definitely do not want him in England". His parents must be "gob-smacked".

Well I guess its safe to say that any citizen from the UK can come to America and murder his family and run back to the UK. If the UK will protect a monster like this then they'll protect anyone. Im sick of hearing the phrase PERSON OF INTREST. HE'S A MURDERER and I pray he gets whats coming to him. An innocent man does not dodge police and refuse to attend funeral for wife and child. Those who think he's innocent should keep in mind the victims here. They are gone forever.

Hi Paula.
I am from the UK. I for one would not shield a killer who has married a US lady and then killed her and their daughter (Lillian Rose)We in the UK are all so concerned than what you people are in the USA. Whoever has MURDERED the beautiful mother and her daughter needs to rot in HELL. As what we say here in the UK and in the US I do believe is that a Person is Innovent until Proven Guilty. We are all assuming it is Neil Entwistle, but who really knows who the killer is. We have all got to wait and see who this MURDERER really is.
