Latest reports on the murder of Rachel and Lillian Entwistle indicate husband Neil's BMW was found at the airport and Neil, a person of interest in the case, is outside of the United States.
Initial reports that one bullet killed both mother and daughter were incorrect. Rachel was shot once in the head and nine month old Lillian died from being shot in the stomach.
A man whose wife and infant daughter were fatally shot in their Hopkinton home has been located outside the United States, authorities said on Tuesday.
Neil Entwistle, a 27-year-old British citizen, has spoken to police but Middlesex County District Attorney Martha Coakley would not reveal his whereabouts late Tuesday. She would only say he is outside the U.S.
The bodies of Rachel Entwistle, 27, and her 9-month-old daughter, Lillian, were found in a bed in their home on Sunday evening. Neil Entwistle remained a “person of interest” in the homicide investigation Tuesday, Coakley said. He has not been called a suspect. There have been no arrests. story here
Wow! Just looked at the guestbook last night and from what I can recall the last entry was from right after Lily was born, now there are tons! So, who dunnit? IMO, it sounds like hubby, but who knows. Was he supposed to be there for the party on Saturday? Surely someone would have known if he was flying overseas for something...he appears to be alive and well, so he was not "kidnapped" or being held hostage...

Yep if he was supposed to be their for Saturday night, when they died, and perhaps what his car holds in evidence. LE have not found the murder weapon yet. I also think I heard they can't get him back here unless they charge him with a crime. Whoever did this I hope they find him or her and nail them to the wall. MA does not have the DP.

Do we know they died on Saturday? No one had heard from them since Thursday--at least that's what the news report I read said...
MA does not have the death penatly? I'm sure many states don't, but when did they get rid of it? After the Salem Witch trials? Not poking fun of MA in any way. My momma was born there and I have family there. Grandparents are buried in Oak Grove along with the Bordens and we used to vacation at Cape Cod, so Kelly3 if you are from MA, don't take what I wrote personally!

Hmmmm, he's out of the country. That leaves me with two guesses. 1. He did it. or, 2. Someone he's made very angry did it. Either way, he has some guilt in this situation.
You would think if a picture was worth a thousand words, the story would be that this was a happy family. Another sensless murder of a baby and a wife/mother, too sad.

I believe that the husband did it. He killed his wife and daughter most likely because he wants to start a new life with someone else who possibly is pregnant with his child and probably does not know that he has a wife and child. So he figured to get rid of them. This is just awful, he deserves everything he gets.

all of the news I have seen regarding the Entwistle case seems UNREAL ... first off happy family with porn sites ...just moved into neighbourhood...having dinner guests (would tend to think because of new home maybe celebration)...Very weird that husband would go to England and not maybe contact wife and child to say he got there and when not getting hold of new mom that prob would be at home because of young child....why would he not ask friends family etc etc to see if she is ok!!!!!strange....if this Neil Entwistle did not get advise from the Master ...Scott Peterson...then the guy who left the comment about the aliens must be right.....because how do you get in and out of a loced house with out a key...and being as they just moved in ..how many family and friends would already have a key?

Wife and baby slain. Husband conveniently flies to England. Husband arrives in England where he is told wife and baby have been murdered back home. Husband doesn't jump on first plane back, but stays in England.

I have to agree that he seems to have something to hide. I am very disappointed in his family also. If someone was murdered in my family all hell would break loose. Why isn't he and his family demanding answers? Why has none of them tried to come to the USA to at least get a private ceremony with mother and child? It is possible in cases like this to demand that the press and onlookers respect the families wishes. I work as a victim advocate and we have handled such situations that allow the family the privacy they need. So that is no excuse not to say a final farewell to a member of their family. Also, how much insurance did he have on his wife and daughter? This is important due to the Ebay situation. Seems he had some serious financial problems. Just a thought!

I bet Neil Entwistle didn't like to live in the States, he really didn't want a family, to pay rent being unemployed was too much for him: so he got rid of them and flew out to England to stay at his daddy's home. What parents with some morals would support a son who didn't attend his wife and baby daughter's funeral, and left USA at the time his wife and child's were murdered ?. They must know what happened

that poor girl never saw this coming i bet. i had studied in england at st. edmund's hall in oxford england in 1994 and was just 22, met a great guy, moved in with him and within 6 months we were engaged. met his lovely family in devonshire and then he came to south carolina to meet my family and suddenly his personality changed. i got out of that situtation. sometimes you really don't know people that well or as well as you think. i feel so bad for her trusting him and him doing this when she had no idea it was going to happen. he should definitely get the death penalty and i hope his parents have to watch him get the lethal injection. serves them right for harboring a fugitive.

i don't care why he did it. in this day and age of pure selfishness...i'm sure he can come up with load's crap to blame his actions on. he did it...pure and simple. i hope he rots in prison. to kill his wife is bad enough. to kill an innocent child...HIS child...i can't even imagine the mind of a person that would do something like that. the man is human garbage.

It has been associated with an increasing number of deaths in recent years. Most of that increase she added came during the past five to years. Similar increases in mortality have occurred
