Martin Luther King: The Human Story

While I see no reason to go too deeply into King's day to day life to in anyway dismiss his contribution to society, I did find this one quote from an AP story worth lifting:

Branch, who has not been available recently for interviews, also writes of heated arguments King had with some of his closest colleagues, including Jackson, whom he accused of trying to use the civil rights movement to promote himself. Jackson did not return telephone calls seeking comment.

Were King alive today, I suspect he'd be more like Bill Cosby than Jesse Jackson.

I'm late, but I agree. Cosby does more good than people appreciate and Jackson is too power-concious to trust, me thinks. Bill Cosby is a hero ML King and he would be bosum (A-hem! Sorry Rev. King...) buddies.
