But when I'm humping bluey I carry the American Express Gold Card.
American Express has defended issuing gold credit cards to members of a poor Aboriginal community in Queensland.
A newspaper reported today that several members of the remote Hopevale community, about 300 kilometres north of Cairns, were issued with the cards in a company drive targeting remote indigenous communities.
The report claimed that Aborigines on work-for-dole programs in the community were issued with gold American Express credit cards.
About 90 per cent of the community's 800-strong population are unemployed or on work for the dole, it said.

actually, thanks for the link to the glossery of Aussie phrases. That was facinating!!
I know they speak English, "Down Under" but looking at those phrases as part of their everyday speech is a pretty interesting insight into culture, aside from a good laugh
