I visited the Newstex site as it appears Newstex will be a key service, if you will, provided by PJM. I hadn't realized that the strategic partnership between PJM and Newstex is, from all appearances, a virtual two-way street.
Okay, fine, color me confused here. As you see in the lower paragraph, PJM is to be an umbrella site. But, no, wait, they are going to be reaching out and linking to other blogs, even non-PJM blogs, perhaps. Yet, PJM is supplying full text blog content to Newstex?
I guess the question becomes, does signing onto PJM also give them the rights to one's blog content? Will they also be distributing content to which they link? And does anyone inside or out of PJM really know?
Newstex delivers full-text real-time posts from blogs in a wide variety of subjects, including Seth Godin’s Blog, Blogcritics.org, “The Conspiracy to Keep You Poor and Stupid” by Donald Luskin, Institutional Economics, Gallery Hopper, Gapers Block, and Medpundit. Newstex also announced today that it will distribute blog content from Open Source Media, a new media venture designed to bring together thoughtful bloggers and traditional journalists into a single open community that will provide discourse, commentary and content on a broad range of current topics. Open Source Media members and contributors include “Instapundit” Glenn Reynolds, one of the world's most-read bloggers; CNBC's Larry Kudlow, blogger and host of “Kudlow & Company”; Michael Barone, blogger and senior writer, U.S. News & World Report; David Corn, blogger, columnist and Washington, D.C. editor for The Nation; and Claudia Rosett, a prize-winning journalist and blogger central to breaking the United Nations' “Oil for Food” controversy.

NEW YORK, November 16, 2005 – At the OSM TM (Open Source Media) launch event today, Newstex, the Content On Demand™ company, announced a new strategic relationship with Open Source Media, a new online venture designed to bring together top online writers, journalists and commentators under a single umbrella.

You'll notice too, if you use the new PJM search feature, that it leads to full posts from G70 bloggers that are published on the PJM site - not the bloggers own site...
