Natalee Holloway: Notes And Observations

Update: NBC claims this new letter allegedly from Natalee to P. VdSloot was sent back in September. It's difficult to conclude this is anything other than more nonsense.

Twitty also learned that back in September, one of the suspects' fathers, Paul Van Der Sloot, received a letter that was allegedly from Natalee Holloway.

Not commenting on this below right now - but saw some interesting things in it

B. TWITTY: You know, we acted with such a sense of urgency. The first thing that I wanted to do with Eric Williams (ph), the DEA, was establish Natalee`s character, so they would see that this is not a missing girl, this is not someone who has just decided not to show up or is having an extended stay on her senior trip.

B. TWITTY: It was that night, but it took us a while to find them. We had to -- there are several things that went on, Nancy.

We reviewed video footage from the Excelsior Casino, where Joran had been playing with Jug`s nephew, Thomas Twitty (ph), at a Texas Hold `Em table, so we could lay eyes on him and see him.

J. TWITTY: First he looked at the picture and I said, "Don`t say you don`t know her, because we have eye witnesses who saw you get in this car with her," and he goes, "Yeah, yeah, I know who she is."

And he walks over to us and starts talking, and he says things that -- you know, he danced with her at the Holiday Inn or whatever -- I mean at the Carlos and Charlie`s. But after we talked a little bit, we asked him where she is, he says, "I don`t know, I dropped her off." Then he says, "Is anybody here with the family?"

And I said, "Yes, I`m her stepfather."

He said, "Do you mind stepping away for a minute?"

So I stepped away, went back to the van, Beth was still in the van this whole time, watching, because we had --

GRACE: Who asked you to step away?

J. TWITTY: Joran did. So he could tell my friends and he could tell the uniformed officers and all the people there what he did with Natalee that night, as far as taking her and his sexual stuff with her. In the car.

J. TWITTY: I`ll tell you, Nancy, the thing that really upset me, and I found this out when Beth read some statements down there, is that the two uniformed officers that were there, that were standing as close as we are here, listening to him say this, they gave their statements, and they were very graphic in detail of everything that happened that night, except for one thing. Guess what they left out? The part about him saying what he did sexually to her in that car.

And I went ballistic, because I wasn`t there, and I told Beth, I said this thing is a set up. I`m telling you right now. Why would they leave that out of there?

I am still wondering. Jug was asked by Joran to step away. Jug then states that Joran told his (Jug's?) friends and the police-officers about the sexuall activity in very graphic detail?

But then the police officers left the graphic details out of the written statements?

Both Beth and Jug (by their own admission)are not able to read Dutch. So they had the statments translated somehow. Could it be possible that the translator left out the graphic details? (for instance out of shame, not being able to talk aloud about sexual activities?)

Did Joran talk in graphic details about having sex with Natalee? I seem to remember that the conversation was in Dutch. Do Jug's friends speak Dutch? (if they weren't Aruban)? Did they tell the truth or did they emballish what Joran said just to "please" Beth and Jug?

These questions are raised every time I go over the piece above...

If you were paying attention the letter was let out of the bag by Jane and not Steve. There had been an agreement to remain silent about the letter until testing was complete. Once Jane had brought it up Steve did talk about it. You all are not paying attention. Paulus had the letter and was apparently following the wishes of the letter writer by waiting until a certain time to turn it over. My information is that the letter states that similar letters were also sent to both Beth Twitty and the FBI (hence the "if you see her give us a call" wording about Natalee on their web site). Beth Twitty is lying AGAIN. A friend of Paulus's who was aware of the letter is the one who blew the whistle thinking his friend had suffered enough and Twitty's attacks were coming stronger. His friend is the one who exposed Paulus holding on to the letter (supposedly by the writer's request until a certain date.) Once his friend has blown the whistle Paulus did turn the letter over. I wrote more details in the "confusion continues" thread.

Also of note in the time delay it was addressed to Joran with no return address. Joran has recently gone home for the holiday break. Still my information is they did not turn it in due to several reasons. (One probably being they wanted a media-less holiday.)(Clearly his father does not open his mail).

Some have suggested that Beth and or her relatives did this (her family is in Arkansas) to be cruel and stir up more anger and hostility towards the Van der Sloots. I suppose only testing will be sucessful since the letter apparently says there are fingerprints and DNA. Perhaps Betty is innocent in this one...which would make her guilty if she di in fact get her own letter as the writer claimed, and has remained silent.

I don't understand the hullabaloo about this letter now, if it was sent in Sept. Why would they just now be doing a DNA test on it? None of this makes sense. Do you think if Natalee is alive and sent that letter that there would not be any sightings of her by now? Someone would know her and report it. This is just pfffftttttt stuff.

It wouldn't surprise me if Natalee ran away, and then realizing her actions was causing another family pain, wrote the letter to get the VDS off the hook. I can easily see why she would want to get away from that mother and stepfather. If I were her, I would be depserate to get out of that environment. I hope she's alive, and the letter shows it's her, and that the IRS and federal government investigat the Twittys, their charity, who may be laundering money through it, and their other criminal friends and activities.

Well, depends which talkshow, reporter or blogger you are willing to believe. Indeed one side is total joke, but many Americans are still open minded and do have a open door to hear the other side rather to listen to the daily bashing of those who cannot or are tired to give their side of the story.

American will not ony keep visiting the island and the Dutch territory but will keep making businesses, travel, live and accept help and support from them. It's mutual. If you do not want to go, just don't go, but don't tell around you're reason why not, people will think you're a joke.
