Freedom of Information requests appear to have produced evidence that, directly on the heels of Maureen Dowd's The Squires of Surveillance column, Bush Co has been actively involved in eavesdropping on the adversarial journalist, up to and including listening in on incoming phone calls on her private line.
Analysis of the physical evidence supports that the female voice on the recording is New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd, heard conversing with a paramour who sounds suspiciously like recently disgraced television commentator Pat O'Brien.
