Seems an unmanned CIA predator dispatched a Hellfire missile into the not-so-safe heart of a safe house, taking out the operational commander of al-Qaida and possibly the No. 3 official in the terrorist organization, Hamza Rabia.
Awwww ... I hope he got to see the end of Desperate Housewives, or whatever he may have been watching on TV. Some station break, that. Ha.
And because the MSM isn't presently outfitted to adequately present the full breadth of the GWOT in its headline style, preferring to focus only a story or two, they'll be off yammering only on body counts from Iraq when they get the chance.
It really isn't that they don't report all the news, they're constrained by a short attention span motif which prevents them from fleshing out a broader story. They can only afford to focus on an item or two that they think will sell.
More bodies equals bigger news - but in reality, as tragic as losses in Iraq are, they are far from the most significant events going on as we meet and defeat a global threat from a cult which has hijacked a portion of a religion.

More crap for the ACLU to feed on. I'm sure they will be able to figure some way to claim the guys 'civil rights' were violated. Maybe like: the gov't. entered his space without properly identifying; or the use of excessive force, i.e., why didn't the Americans just surround the house and wait for him to come out, we have about 160,000 troops in the country.

One story I read on this, can't remember if it was AP or NBC, I noticed they couldn't resist mentioning his wife and children were also killed.
