LANCASTER - For the first time, county prosecutors indicated this week they are investigating more than one person in the shooting deaths of Michael and Cathryn Borden.
So far, only their 14-year-old daughter's boyfriend has been charged, but prosecutors are looking at e-mails and blogs kept by Kara Borden and David Ludwig, 18, to determine who might have participated in the shootings.
In papers filed Monday and yesterday, Assistant District Attorney Christopher Hackeman wrote that he needs additional information about the Web pages kept by Ludwig and Borden to further investigate "the identities of those involved in this criminal activity and their method and manner of operation."

Maybe this will explain why the mom was still in a chair after her husband was shot. I still can't figure out why she would still be sitting if her husband was shot first and David Ludwig had to come back and shoot the mom. Why bring 2 guns????

I thought he shot the father as he walked down the hall and turned and shot the mother. We really don't know the lay out of the house. I would think if there was a second person, the other children would have known. Maybe they are going to charge her.

There's no one else involved. This is the part
of the investigation where the DA's office
plays it up for the media. The DA probably
thinks he's going to run for a higher state office
after this case and get out of that rural county. Everything is politics to these kind of people.

It really bothers me that Kara ran after David after he shot her family. The police really need to have a few long talks with her and the friend she was IMing with where she says that she and David know what they are going to do if her parents find out about them.
I am not trying to be unfair to her, but she doesn't appear to be an angel in all of this. And, if what David says is true about her wanting to get as far away as possible and start a new life, it certainly doesn't sound like she was too upset just moments after she witnessed both her parents being shot down.

My beliefs in this is that there are some unanswered questions,if i just witnessed my parents get guned down my focus would be on getting away from the person who done this to them not run away and start over i think whether or not she pulled the trigger she still played a role in her parents murder it doesn't matter how upset she got she made her self look bad when she took off with her parents killer and wanted to get far away.
