Lynard Skynard??? The Sex Pistols were at least a seminal band that recharged rock's battery

the rock & roll hall of fame has as much to do with the true spirit of rock & roll as a hard rock cafe............or brittany spears

though it will be fun to hear what john lydon has to say..........

Chip ~

I agree!

I can't see how you can reject Black Sabbath once let alone 7 times....I was never a huge fan but they were the grandaddies of a lot of cool stuff.....

Rock & Roll is ok, as long as you keep the volume down. Otherwise, it may cause an instant headache!

I have gotten over the shaking head syndrome caused by RRHOF inductees. I consider icons who have effected music, not money, appropriate canidates. Yes, the Sex Pistols would be in there.

What ABBA did not make it!!!

Live about 40 minutes from there. What a total waste of $$. U can go right downtown on foot and see hundreds of homeless people sleeping on steam vents to try and get warm. Pathetic, and in a DANGEROUS city I might say. Lots of crime !!

they forgot DIVO

Ok, this was the LAMEST one I have viewed. The Sex Pistols got it right. Blondie: red hair and over weight tried and barely could sing "Call Me" Kid Rock should just sing with all the bands since he is now the "token" hall of fame speaker and performer. Elvis Costello is a sell out. PATTI SMITH showed Blondie hoe to do it. I hope she gets "invited in" some day and tells um to piss off. Oh, it is sooo easy to give to a charity. Get your butts to New Orleans, sell the tickets, give the money DIRECTLY to the agencies there, not the governments in D.C.
