Natalee Holloway: I Don't Get It

I don't get it. I am listening live to Beth Twitty with Greta talking about the Diario reporter tracking someone he thought was Natalee from place to place in Aruba ...  Beth said the reporter contacted her through the Natalee hotline, perhaps in September. And this is information which has been kept secret until now.

Wouldn't this be Herbert Tiel, the reporter who came on during a Fox cutaway to Aruba while I was in the Green Room at Fox and he claimed to be tracking Natalee?

That was on Fox and posted in comments months ago on at least two blogs, including mine. This does not compute. See below.

We have been working on this case since the first day, since then have picked up every piece of material, so they can have everything to put together this story. Tonight again we are on the road cause the team is following some suspect cars that we need for this story. Looks like we are going to have a nice finish for this story asap. His sources say they have moved already from where they were and they want to know exactly where they are going.
She asks who do you think is moving Natalie and is he saying that he thinks she is alive?
He says yes, of course. We are going in a group of 2 ladies, 3 gentlemen. One gentlemen knows a person who knows how to deal with drugs (not from Aruba) maybe from Venezuela or Columbia. The plan was to drive Natalee to columbia, but the latest news we have right now is that because the plan has failed 3 times already, they may try to reach Columbia before Venezuela.
She asked what kind of condition he thinks she is in.
He says that the police have their investigation going on, the press does too. We are going to all steps we can, we have put together a group to follow a car that we think are involved in this. We are working on a tip. Have not notified her family, we are working with the police.

They had planned to take NH to Columbia but that didn't work so now the plan is to go to Venezula first.

I replayed it to get it right.

Hubert Tiel said, "very definitely" when asked if he thought NH was alive.
Hubert did not answer the question about NH's condition. He only said "VERY DEFINITELY ALIVE"

I inquired in an email to Diaro and never received a response on this.

Apparently FOX did not want to pursue this story either on air. We never heard another word from any FOX reports.

Perhaps the DIARIO didn't want to be exposed for this type of hype.

This is a missing girl, with 4 parents wanting to know where or what has happened. If you have a child, I feel sorry for them, because it's apparent you would not do everthing possible to find them if they were missing.

I personally have two children, and would find a way to walk on water for them....If they were missing like Natalee, I would take every oportunity to do what ever came my way. Right or wrong, I would never give up.

Nice thouht on what one would do. The fact is, let's hope you never have to know. I can honestly tell you,I would never have taken the steps BT has taken. She has placed guilt on three boys, without providing information to support them being suspect. And the bottom line remains, Beth let her daughter go on this trip. No Natalee does not deserve to be missing. The fact remains, the persons responsable for her, let her down when they allowed an 18 yr old, just graduated student take this trip. Beth needs to take responsabilty for that act. That is what really pisses me off. How can a parent be so fu%cking stupid.

at my high school, the seniors when on a graduation trip each may. maybe we just got lucky or perhaps our chaperons kept a better eye out. who knows, but i don't blame a parent for letting them go on an organized trip. our french teacher even took some juniors to france one year (i think the number of adults may have been greater than the students on that one). our club soccer teams also went abroad to play in tournaments. i'm sure all that's out now, what a pity.

I think BT has reached a defining moment in how she thinks about her daughter's disappearance. Despite the FBI telling her it is not Natalee's voice - she says it is. Despite the new sex slave scenario being counter-intuitive to, "the trio drugged, gang raped and murdered Natalee" theory - she embraces it anyway.

Is it a matter of a woman at her emotional breaking point ,grasping at straws? Or is it a woman confronted with events, that have forced her to re-think her theory?

Will BT admit that her current mindset does more to eliminate the trio from the mystery - than include them?

CINDI...WAKE UP.... 18 is a legal age. Natalee could have gone anywhere without permission from her loving parents. And as far as Beth placing blame on the three boys, as you call them, those three men haven been proven to be LIARS and still stand as being such!! Get real on who's to blame! Yes, I am the mother of all three. And evidently being a very mature 18 year old adult, Natalee wasn't old enough or street wise enough to even be in a bar drinking. My daughters wanted to venture to Cancun after graduating high school. I told them, when you can survive a night in the Badlands of Philadelphia, with the addicts and prostitutes, then you will be ready to travel out of the country. I had one mother call me a bitch because I wouldn't let them go lol. My son is 18 graduates in June, he thinks he is going to Cancun, but he's not. And yes I can stop him. No still means no, even at 18.

I watched some of the shows yesterday with Beth Twitty. Nothing makes sense. She went on a show in the morning and said that Natalee could be alive. Then at night, she went on another show and said she is dead. I don't understand how she can scream about rape. Does she have proof? How can these shows let this woman make false accusations and call for a USA boycott when she is clearly not sure where her daughter is?

In the early days, she put up posters that looked like Natalee may have wandered off. They were "Hootie call me..." I agree that this woman is kind of crazy. I feel sorry for her but don't the news shows see she's nuts? She lies all the time. Yesterday the inconsistencies were blatant. It's almost like she has munchausens by proxy and she's so desparate for attention that she makes things up about Natalee just to get on television.

I feel sorry for Natalee's family, but, that doesn't give them the right to accuse those who may be innocent, and continue to rant about how corrupt Aruba is. If they have facts, then, let them present these things on TV when they are on. They only accuse people, based on weak circumstantial evidence. I don't blame them as much as the shows which exploit their suffering. I have to admit though that they started to lose me when they brought in some of the characters like TJ Ward and most recently Joe Mama. I know they are frustrated but these people weaken their crusade and most people I know roll their eyes when they see Beth Twitty on television. It's not that people don't feel bad for her but she's beating a dead horse. There is no evidence that those boys hurt Natalee. Something bad probably happened to her, but, we may never know what that is. Like AMy Bradley's poor family, they may be in that unenviable position. Yet, to create WWIII over this is ridiculous. I'm not saying they should give up, either, but, it's enough with the "boycott Aruba" and making false claims on television. Let the investigators work, they can hire their own with all the money donated, and keep looking for answers, quietly, without all the television appearances, slandering people without proof. If there is evidence, that's different. Beth needs therapy, but, she is annoying to watch. I don't have the same feelings for her that I did at the beginning, when I was very moved by her ordeal. She doesn't strike me as an honest person and I don't like her anymore. I still understand her sorrow, but, in a way, I'm not even sure about that. Does she ever mention Natalee by name, unless it's to say she was a virgin?

Beth always mentions Natalee because this case is about Natalee... Beth and Dave's daughter. People can turn on her and side with the suspects but it will not change the fact that Beth will NOT rest until she finds her daughter and knows what happened to her. She is willing to put herself out there and be the brunt of your jokes, insults and bashing because that's how much she loves her daughter. Beth is not trying to be a camara hog as some have accused her of but she would be pretty damn stupid to tell the media outlets that she doesn't want to go on and discuss Natalee's case because she might piss off a few RWV loyalist. Beth will put herself through whatever she has to in order to find Natalee and I don't blame her one bit. If it were my child I would do everything within my power to find her even if it meant accepting reward money from Joe M. especially if I didn;t have the money myself. Whoever kidnapped raped, or killed Natalee are bad people and they play dirty so Beth has to have some people on her team that can think the same way these jerks do because the family is not used to dealing with these type of criminals. If that means allowing Joe M. to get involved then so be it. The only thing that is important is finding Natalee, hopefully alive but if not at least so she can have a proper burial. She deserves that much. If that were your child wouldn't you want to find her? Beth may not be going about this in the same manner some of us would but at least she is out there trying to find her daughter which is more than you can say about alot of families with missing children. I think whoever the guilty parties are were counting on that being the case here too. They had no idea that Beth and Jug would be on the isalnd within a few hours of her disappearance. Who knows maybe Natalee would have turned up in a crack house as the 3 suspects and the police chief suggested but the family arriving on the island so quickly that they had to change their plans. The bottom line here is NONE OF US know what happened to Natalee, we can only speculate. Beth and Dave more than any of us do. I don't find it strange that sometimes Beth thinks Natalee is alive and other times dead. She is receiving tips and info from ALE and others that support both theories. Without a body it's anyone's guess. Beth knows the chance of Natalee being alive is slim but you can't discount that small percentage that says she could possibly be alive. As a mother I know I wouldn't believe my child was dead without a body or some real proof. You can't blame Beth for thinking that Joran and Kalpoe's raped her daughter because there have been way too many stories told by Joran and Deepak to suggest that did happen. If they were inncont why turn on each other and start blaming the other one for raping and killing her if you know that is not the case? To me it says that they have reason to not want the REAL truth to come out about the part they played in her disappearance.

I would not want the wrath of FOX NEWS, or most importantly BHT on my case. She can proven, she has the stones to ruin people and I bet the parents are telling the kids to keep quiet to stay out of the media.

I bet. Separated myself I know the power plays that can happen between parents. However the childs safety should always come first and yes, an 18yr old is still a child. Parents need to wake up and stop letting these kids run their lives. I do feel sorry for Beth that she has to deal with the fact she let her daughter go on this trip. This sould be a wake up call to all parents.
