Hyscience has a post up dealing with the political donations that have flowed to some Alabama politicians from, of all places, Holland. I wonder if that PAC would like their money back, now?
Incredible but true! Money from a Dutch company went to Governor Bob Riley, Senator Jeff Sessions, Senator Richard Shelby and member of Congress Spencer Bachus. And now they are all supporting a boycott against Aruba?
Also of note through a Hyscience link are contributions from McWane
It is also good to show that Jeff Sessions as well as Richard Shelby got substantial contributions from McWane, which is a corporate entity very tied to the Twitty-Holloway family.
From 1998 to 2005, McWane gave Sessions a sum of $29,200. It gave Shelby a sum of $1,000.
If I'm not mistaken there may have been one or more members of the family which controls McWane along on the trip. I couldn't find an old Mountain Brook class roster which had been on the net to document that.

Ruffner Page's daughter, the CEO of McWane, was on the trip.

I have to think about this one..the choice is..either get political donations from a dutch company...or get the truth from aruban authorities..
I choose get the truth..but I must admit..I'm biased..cause I'm not runnin for political office..

Good, only one company that I do business with is listed, and they didn't give a cent to Riley. So I won't have to change my buying habits.

Hmm and the plot thickens, that's probably why BT and JT were so intent and demanding to hang the 3 actually 4 with the Dad of Joran, trying to take the investigation off the real perps!!
Follow the money, all of this needs to be investigated including the boycott called by Riley for ONE missing person from his state, one out of 1,000. Follow all those donations collected and made, The Twits must be investigated this is all starting to smell bad and the stench is coming from ALABAMA!

I wonder about the money connections in Aruba? Do they have disclosure laws showing who and how much was donated to a political party or person running for office?
I wonder what the money trail in Aruba looks like?

from the site:
//Would it be also be surprising to know that everyone of these men have received campaign contributions of thousands of dollars from Netherland PACS ?
Well Yes They have. These are the numbers 1998 to 2005.
Bachus, Spencer (R-AL) - $26,555
Riley, Bob (R-AL) - $4,500
Sessions, Jeff (R-AL) - $15,000
Shelby, Richard C (R-AL) - $15,000
//
They should be returning that money if they really mean what they were saying on FOX

It appears that the politicans in Alabama have sold their souls to Beth and Jughead. The highest bidder always wins.Just wonder if those politicians will return the money that was donated to them from Holland.Afterall it would be the right thing to do since they have failed to earn it.
That damn Governor Riley appears to be the most assbackwards person serving in any official capacity in the Western Hemisphere. The idiot has opened Alabama up to be ridiculed to the extreme.

Bizman,
Riley, the most assbackwards person serving in any official capacity in the Western Hemisphere? I beilieve that Gov. Blanco of Louisiana has that title. She still can't clean up tha manmade mess she and Nagin left.
On Riley, while he's not my personal choice for an Alabama leader; he's a better than some of the legislators we have:
Alvin Holmes: drunk (who used the "racist" state constition for immunity and demoted the cop who arrested him)and race baiter (AKA Jesse Jackson wannabe)
Don Siegelman: ex-governor about to face Fed charges along with Scrucshy and trying to be the governor of this state again while having these charges (Yes, he's trying to against Riley)
Paul Hubbard: sick and old as hell and still in control of the Education budget
Hank Sanders: under investigation for family ties (same as DeLay)
With the government we have, we try to elect the lesser of the two evils.

RE: "Money from a Dutch company went to Governor Bob Riley, Senator Jeff Sessions, Senator Richard Shelby and member of Congress Spencer Bachus."
WHY IS IT LEGAL FOR U.S. POLITICIANS TO TAKE MONEY FROM FOREIGNER INTERESTS?

***from their bio posted on their U.S. record ditributor web page:

The Dicemen aim for total world domination. But if that's aiming too high this irresistible trio will be satisfied by making a lot of shows by spilling blood, sweat, and tears. Their own special blend of psychobilly is influenced by punk rock, rock & roll, rockabilly, hardcore, and death metal. The band is currently touring around Europe to infect poor innocent souls*** with their dirty power rock'n roll. As long as it stinks like sweat, tastes like beer and innocent girls fall to their knees when hearing the straight from the heart music, these Dicemen will conquer!
