Did David Ludwig Plan Murder Of Kara Borden's Family?

According to Fox, David Ludwig and Samuel Lohr appear to have rehearsed a possible break in and family murder on video tape. Whether or not Kara Beth Borden was aware of any potential plot against her family is unclear.

LITITZ, Pa. — The teenager suspected of shooting his girlfriend's parents dead filmed a video with a friend in which the two plotted to kill family members with guns, court papers show.

A search warrant issued yesterday to Warwick Township police said 18-year-old suspect David Ludwig and his 19-year-old friend Samuel Peter Lohr are depicted in a video taking guns from Ludwig's home to an unidentified home. The court papers say the video shows them discussing using the guns to "shoot and kill family members inside of the residence."

Police found the movie Sunday on a laptop computer they say belongs to Ludwig when they searched the Lititz home that Ludwig shared with his parents, according to court papers released Friday. The search warrant sought computer and video equipment.

Police said in the court papers that Ludwig and Lohr planned to conduct a late-night armed raid on the house mentioned in the videotaped conversation. It wasn't clear what family and residence the two friends were talking about.

On Thursday, 54 guns were seized from Ludwig's home, according to court papers.

Not sure who the poster was, but several days ago someone linked to a local chat in these kids home town. A conversation between someone and Kara was very interesting. In the message between Kara and this person was the statement "do you know he can be arrested". There is a lot more to this story than we are hearing now.

This kid was not as clean cut as some are saying. Who the hell would have that many guns in their possession.

I would like to think Kara was not involved, but I guess we have to let the police do their job. As innocent as we like to believe our kids are that is not always the case.

Question for those of you that have kids like I do. Do you ever think about your kids doing this? My two are good kids BUT my husband and I have talked about it.

You never know. They seem NORMAL and then something like this.

it's about talking to your kids and listening to them. you need to treat them like people from the beginning. it's not about getting them to like you, it's about treating them honestly and fairly. respect is earned and kids learn these lessons from their parents

The parents were probably so hung up on what good God fearing Christians they were that they missed obvious signs. Just because you've made Jesus part of your child's life doesn't mean that they are incapable of being budding anti-social personalities....

The kid toted around his bible and quoted psalms from the good book when his parents were around, but when left alone... he retreated into a world that his parents were too naive to even know existed.

This is the kind of kid who could pet and stab an animal with the same hand, had more than a just a passing childhood intrigue with "darkness", and it was just a matter of time before he did something like this...

Now the question is whether his girlfriend was a victim or an accomplice..

I taught my kids very early that they could talk to me about anything. My son is 19 and I know he partys with friends but he knows he is NEVER to drive while he has been drinking. He is honest and when he does not come home, he tells us why. You cannot stop them from doing things like this. I just wanted to know how many parents are blind like these were and never even think about it.

There's a girl named Cari that posted on this kids blog...she is close friends with Katelyn-KBs sister and she adds some interesting detail to what happened during the shootings...if this is true the other kids were very fortunate to get out of there alive.

It's interesting to compare this guy to the Dyleski kid. This guy showed all the signs of being violent and extremely dangerous, and had plenty of guns to choose from to commit the crime.

There is nothing remotely similar to this in Dyleski's background, yet he's accused of the same kind of ugly murder.
