Six months pregnant and allegedy left alone in the woods, no solid information yet exists in the troubling disappearance of 21 year old Wisconsin resident, Christine Rudy.
Her husband Shaun, who claims to have simply left her by the side of the road, was later arrested after a traffic stop on unrelated charges of gun possession by a felon and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Christine Rudy is from Thorp. The Clark County Sheriff's Department says she was last seen with her husband on November 12th. They were driving along County Road MM, about eight miles south of Stanley. Her husband, Shaun, says they got into an argument and he left her on the side of the road. She hasn't been heard from since. Authorities say Shaun did not report her missing for two days.
Thorp police arrested 23-year-old Shaun Rudy on Nov. 18 on an unrelated charge after a traffic stop, Backus said. He was charged the same day with being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia.

It's become an American epidemic of men killing their pregnant wives/significant other. I sure hope this isn't the case here, but it sure seems like it.

It is definitely a weird and sad world... I just heard on the news here in Miami Beach about a 3 month old who died after her parents gave her 24 ounces of vodka mixed with water and salt to cure her fever and colic. Yes, I did say 24 ounces.... Her alcohol content was .47

I met Christine 6 years ago. My question is this,Why isn't the Clark County Sheriff's Dept doing more?? They make her husband sound like an angel!! Just involved with drugs?? How about obstructing an officer, burglaries, prison time!!! Where he supposedly dropped her off is a large forest, he could have dumped her anywhere!!! And...WHY can't they find his car!! They better do more then treat this as a missing person!!!!!

I believe the authorities have found human remains and have notified the girls parents of the remains. The remains are being sent for testing to see if they are indeed her remains. Sometimes I really like the movie Monster and understand the main character.

The surgeon general should have a written notice for women: The surgeon general has determined that getting married could result in death for women, especially when they become pregnant.

Christine showed up during my husband's uncle's funeral near Fennimore. She had been walking, she came into the church. They gave her some food, called the police, and tried getting her some help. They let her use the phones, offered her some rides. We just had a birthday party today. Everyone was asking if they knew what became of her. Someone had just heard yesterday that they found her body. It is very sad.
