She is a class act. She should be on Barbara Walters' list.

Perhaps just me, however, as I watched and listened to the Greta(audience) show one nugget of brillaince stood out. Taylor Behl's mom seemed to be so much more of everything Beth wishes she were. Janet Pelasara had the dignity of a Kennedy woman, the kindness of a saint, and speech razor sharp spoken in clarity.I agree Oprah and Barabra W both should honor this woman who has gone through incredible loss in a most dignified manner.
Also noticed how Beth seemed to look at Beth in disgust, waiting ofr her turn to again bemoan the lod record of lies.

It is getting harder and harder to read these blogs nowadays. Seems like everyone is against a lady who is doing all the wrong things in order to find closer for her missing daughter. Mrs. Behl and the other lady did not have months of not knowing what had happened to their daughters although I cannot imagine the grief but they did find out who killed their child unlike Mrs. Twitty. If I was Beth I would be doing everything to get to the bottom of my daughters disappearance. I would search Heaven and earth trying to uncover what authorities have not. You people cannot imagine her emotions seeing the last three men with her not get questioned for eight days. I would honestly not know what I would do in her search but I do know I will never bash a lady for trying to find her own flesh and blood.

Does anyone recall what happened to Mr. jeffrey Dahmer??
I believe Ben Fawley may get what's cumming to him in the end after all!! LOLLOLOL

Oh, boy, I really went overboard on that one, but he deserves it that sick M'er F'er.

Dan, please don't ban me, I was a bad girl I know.

Brent, few people can imagine what's she's going through completely. But that doesn't mean we give up all standards of acceptable behavior. Those standards have from the start been much lower for her, but they still apply.

With all the sympathy in the world for the family, a lot of their actions are quite disturbing to rational and objective people.

Well I agree with her statement! And I think that wish will be granted in the end! I think "Bubba" is just waiting on him to get in there with him. I don't think it will take long once he gets there either!

Dan, I agree. Janet Pelasara handles herself with dignity and respect. And dresses appropriately I might add.

And if you believe the do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Then why should bf be denied what he wanted??????? He did it to Taylor so why should any one stop it being done to him.

To bad he will not be there in time to be a Chirstmas Present for "Bubba" this year.

Whatever happens to BF will not bring Janet's daughter back. His death or torture in prison will not bring Taylor back. Will it give Janet satisfaction? I guess so. She says she wants to see him "loved to death" in prison. I think I would feel the same way if it was my daughter. Someone has stolen something priceless from you and you will never get it back. Time does not heal all wounds. You never get over it. It does not get better. The most amazing thing about humans is that they can go on after such a loss.
Life moves on and people must get on with it. The pain never fades. It never goes away. There is never any closure. Only the best can let go over their anger and hatred and keep their grief to themselves. Faulkner says between grief and nothingness I will take grief.

And if you believe the do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

JAT-
I think that is supposed to mean, "nice" things! :) LOL! I see what you're saying though, why should bf thinks he should be treated any better then how he's treated others in the past, mostly Taylor.

It does not say NICE things............ it says things period. So there for let him get what is coming to him. :-)

So there for let him get what is coming to him. :-)

Based on everything reported on BF, he would take pleasure in the abuse.

That's how i want to go

" In essence, death's too good for Ben Fawley, I want him to be loved to death in prison."

This is why we let the courts hand out punishment, and not families of the victims who only wish to seek revenge in most cases.

True, but why would families not want to seek revenge? I can imagine nothing worse than having to bury a child!

I Saw the show also, I will never forget the comment. What an unforgettablly ladylike and dignified answer Taylor's mother gave. As Southerners would say --" She hit the nail on the Head". What a great lady! I am so sorry such an awful end came to her daughter.

A couple points:
First, I simply love this woman. How she has handled this tragic, senseless murder shows this fella she's a helluva mom, bless her heart. I hope she gets everything she's wishin' for by Christmas...I know your first wish can't come true *sigh*, but there's still time and people around to help with the second!
Now to business:
When I read Janet's statement, I wondered...does she know the state will not seek the death penalty, thus her "loved to death in prison" comment? Did she not say she wanted death for fRawley at her daughter's funeral? It seems an about-face for her now to say "death is too good for fRawley" unless she knew the STATE would not do it--- but hopefully Bubba will.
Anyone who saw the interview care to offer a comment?
It sure is nice to have the courts decide guilt or innocence, obviously we live in a country where the mob doesn't rule.
But just think, what WOULD happen to the crime rate if assholes like fRawley knew that kid's MOTHER would be waitin for him with a machete if he was convicted? Think he might have had a little more concern for the kid's safety, indeed, might a few crimes be PREVENTED if the perp KNEW the FAMILY would carry out the sentence how they saw fit? Oh I think we are onto something here...
STATE=decides guilt
VICTIM'S FAMILY=decides fate. \I like it!

I want to shout it from the mountain top! I want the world to see, witness, and learn from Janet Pelasara. She is the very embodiment of Class!

So many people have espoused how they feel about Ms. Pelasara that it is hard indeed to find the words without over using them to describe her.

Angel comes to my mind. At times I wonder if this is her very purpose here on Earth. She especially helps me in my times of the blues. Lastly, I believe that if there ever was a conduit, or link between heaven and earth, Janet Pelasara is as close as I think I will ever see. Such class!

Paulo

I wish not to compare Ms. Pelasara to Mrs. Twitty, as I have never lost a child by the fault of another or ever, and certainly hope that is not part of my future. I only can mention that these are different situations in the "outcome" so far. Two woman have lost thier babies and who are "we" to say is the right way to handle it? Geez, how does any mother handle that? Maybe one is more composed wondering, 'why', and maybe one is pulling her hair out looking for more answers. I give the nod to both and all who are still going and living...I say we support all of the mothers and geez, parents in general who are missing or have lost children! I think if it was me, I'd be a crazy woman and then I would just collapse.

Bob--I did not see the interview, but I've been trying to find it--any links on Fox? I'm not having any luck with this thing logging off every five minutes and I have to start over! Hope you had a great Turkey Day and will you just have a little one already! You are going to be a great daddy one day, because you are already understanding the "mother" thing.....Uh, that did not sound right, but you know as we've discussed it before! YOU ROCK!

Not a hand wringer wrote: This is why we let the courts hand out punishment, and not families of the victims who only wish to seek revenge in most cases.

And why not? What do you suggest? A medal? Can you imagine the sense of loss these brave mothers and fathers have had to deal with? Janet with her class, you can see the pain in her eyes, Beth with her frantic searching, grasping at straws and the father from Philly crying for a loved one, revenge? WHY NOT....

Abby, I know exactly what you meant and it's quite a compliment, I'll take it! Thank you!
I haven't tried to see the interview yet, I may google it, I'm sure a transcript is available somewhere, but the transcript can't catch body language. It just hit me odd, what she said. Like maybe she knew the state wouldn't seek the death penalty. I dunno. We'll just have to wait and see.

I wish I could believe in angels Paulo, i guess if they were real they would have helped the kid when she needed them most. Then nobody's heart would have got broken, nobody would have died.
Nell'ora del mio dispiacere più grande nessuno era là sentire le mie richieste. "In the hour of my greatest sorrow, no one was there to hear my cry."

You know, I have yet to see Janet do an interview on TV. I don't watch Greta really, she's just too abrasive for me, so I don't keep track of who is on and when.
I liked Janet from the get-go, and I don't know where her strength comes from, maybe it's all the people from all over asking God to help her. Actually I worry, when this trial is over, what will keep her going? She'll have nothing left. I'd like to interview her, there's a story coming the world should know about. I could write it and get it published. But I have to think the W-P is working on something. Besides covering their asses in the new CIA leak probe.

I don't know much about Mrs. Twitty. I do know they haven't found the body of Natalee and there's no evidence a murder was committed. With Dr. Phil and all the talk about kidnapping for sex, there's a part of Beth that hopes against hope that her daughter is still alive. There is a chance Phil is right, too. Is it likely? I'm not an oddsmaker. But it's possible, more possible than the chance Natalee was abducted by aliens. Hope is keeping Beth going, and if anyone understands how bad creating FALSE hope is for a person, it's Phil. Tomorrow never knows.

I don't know how Janet got through what she got through. I really don't.

What does revenge solve?. Her hoping the man gets raped in prison is tacky. He will receive the punishment he deserves. This stuff usually comes out of the mouths on the anti-abortion crowd. Save the babies but after they are abused and grow up to be murderer then kill them. Always confused the heck out of me. I hold to one policy on life. Life is sacred. I certainly don't expect her to forgive this evil man but him harm disrepects her daughter's life.

Good post DownSouth.
BF will say that it happened by accident while having low oxygen sex. That it was a mistake. That he didnt mean to kill her. That she agreed to try this and it got out of hand and something happened and she died and god knows he didnt mean to kill her. So he will say he did not intentionally plan to kill her. That it was inadvertant.

Someone sure is confused. Now we are dragging "the anti-abortion crowd" into this? Huh? And then in the next breath we are saying "life is sacred" and "but him harm disrepects her daughter's life." Huh? Ich verstehe nicht, meine Freunde.
Man someone pinch me because I think I am reading this in a dream or something because it can't be real.

Revenge: 1. to inflict pain or punishment in return for; avenge 2. to avenge the wrongs done to 3. a desire to return evil for evil

Soooo, um, will someone tell me what is so bad about this word and how it ISN'T what the state does? Upon conviction, mind you. We are all saying there has to be a jury trial first. A desire to return evil for evil. And who here will be the first to step up and deny that to Janet? And why?

The reason for the death penalty in this case is to keep BF from every enjoying anything again. Imagine that scum sitting in his cell pleasuring himself to the thought of his horrible sex crime. I think he wanted to kill a pretty young girl for sexual pleasure for a long time. He must die, and I'm all for it if he dies in the most brutal fashion.

Unfortunatly, it does not look like bf will get the dp, but let's just hope he gets the maximum sentence with all of his crimes combined.

I think he did it intentionly. He posted his own daughters scantitly clad on the internet. This freak has a sick mind. He also mentioned doing oxycontins. DOnt let this guy get away with murder. Dont let him cheat the system. I tell you what, he'll come up with another excuse. My 2 cents

BF would have as much fun in prison as Richard Speck did... It's fricken drug and sex nirvana for a sadistic bastard like him.

Intentional is right. I bet his bone collection shows tool marks indicating he killed and dissected some small animals.
He went to the police and volunteered his "abduction story", so it's admissable. Likewise his "accidental" story. His lawyer told the press it was a freely given statement, against the lawyers advice, so he knew his rights. The prosecution will show that neither story matches the facts.
Apart from a few technical witnesses to dispute the state's forensic evidence, the defense has nothing. The only way to present BF's "accidental" story is for BF to take the stand, and he'll be adjusting his story on the spot during cross examination. The jury ain't gonna like it.
The state needs only to charge him with capital murder, of course allowing the jury to find from a list (murder one, two, etc). The jury will come back with a recommendation of death.
Prisoners find small pleasures in lockup. Taylor will never enjoy something as small as taking a breath, or a drink of water. She's gone because this freak carried out his masturbatory fantasy of rape/murder.
When he's soon gone, the Behl family will at least no longer be haunted by the thought of him being on the same planet, breathing.

P.S. Can anyone out there think of a way that BFs "accidental" defense can be presented without him taking the stand?

1. Speck, good example for the death penalty. He didn't fry when the 1970's Supreme Court decision reversed all death sentences. Yeah, he had sex, drugs, got more institutionalized, probably walked down the cell block as comfortably as you might walk around at work. He was able to make home videos in prison, bragging about how much he loved being there. (I was gonna mention his crimes here but changed my mind.)

In the 1920's, weathly sex murderers Leopold and Loeb beat death in court by pleading guilty with a made up story: "We kidnapped and killed a boy, then asked the family for ransom, a scientific experiment to commit the perfect crime, BUT... there was NO sex involved, even though we are in a deep sadistic sexual relationship with each other"... "and oh yeah, we like girls too". In prison they had ALL the sex and drugs, even catered in meals from the finest restaurants.!

got any other good examples?

I would like to thank those of you who continue to support Janet and try and understand the loss of her only child. Many positive things have been said about her and about Taylor. The negative comments, I can only imagine come from someone that has never lost a loved one. Revenge is tacky? No, I believe it is sweet in this instance. Forgiving BF will be my burden. BF will receive his day in court and it will be fair and just. The grieving process is long and hard and includes so many different emotions that you never are sure what exactly you are feeling. Yes, I did say I wanted the death penalty for BF but after thinking about how he treated my daughter - he brutally murdered her then left her to rot, to be eaten by animals out in the woods - what does that say about him? That imagine is what I have to live with - it makes me think how was Taylor reacting when he was doing this to her - was she screaming, was she fighting back, was she in pain - only God and BF really know what happened to my baby. Now, that I have changed my mind about how I think and hope he dies, it just seems more appropriate - let him experience a bit of what he did to my daughter.

FULL SUPPORT FOR JANET PELASARA!!!

On the Greta Van Sustern show of Nov 25, an audience member asked why certain cases get more attention. It's because Janet, her family, and advisors decided early on to contact the press and get the story out. If Janet hadn't pressured the cops in this way, the investigation might still be nowhere. The publicity will continue to be important.
PLEASE, try to WATCH EVERY TIME Janet appears on TV, buy the newspapers when news comes out, GIVE THE NEWS MEDIA HUGE RATINGS for covering this case.

FULL SUPPORT FOR JANET!!!

Janet has a heart of gold, and the stamina to see this horrible event through. I spend nights in the woods behind my home in Mathews looking for answers. I talk to God and Taylor. This was so close to my family, that we mourn Taylor as our own...DO NOT EVER..degrade this beautiful girl's reputation..and start believing BF's smarmy lies about "Rough Sex"! I have the closest witness to the contrary...BF lives in the sewage infested world that he has created...TRUTH was cast out of his maggot infested brain long ago! He found a much more effective way to win the trust of OUR(!) young women..and became fiendishly good at it. Pray REAL HARD..that the police have enough evidence to convict this BASTARD of the crime that he commited:MURDER! He has been beating and abusing the most beautiful beings God has given our broken down human community long enough! I truly feel that we men have turned a blind eye to this HORROR,it is happening by the minute, right under our "f'n" noses! We should reach down deep and be REAL MEN for a change! Try LOVE and RESPECT..instead of KICKING ASS!! Turn our anger away from those who represent real DEPTH in our lives:Women and Children..Ya want to refocus the anger? I've got my "target": SLIME like Ben Fawley..Yes..his very EXISTENCE lowers us as men, and makes the air I share with him smell more stagnant..Thanks for letting me Vent! ALLONS, and SEMPER FI to "Colonel" Janet..your troops await you..we will not falter! Crabby
