I do not think he did anything wrong. Waste of taxpayers money. We will see down the road i guess.

I know, trumped again! He was clever wasn't he? I'm sure "the prosecutor with an agenda" went to bed tonight with his mouth guard on so he doesn't grind away all of his pearly whites in the middle of the night!

I don't really like the guy, but I had to admit that this was a brilliant move on his part. I'm sure he seriously pissed off the politicians that are supporting this "investigation"....

I love it! I am smiling right along with him. What a smart man!

Many Floridians at booking. Most are smiling big.
Just a smiling dumb crook.

Micheal Jackson smiling at booking with fans in tow.
His attorney knows how to play to his crowd too.

Bill Gates before he had money - big grin, Lee Harvey Oswald with a little smirk,
Jeffrey Dahmer with a hopeful grin, etc. etc.

What can be gleaned from this:
Those with money, who can buy a good attorney, and use the court like the whore it is get off - no matter if they smile at booking or not.
Those with no money and no position are not smiling because they came out of a real arrest, a real jail, and were treated like an accused criminal.

So what you all are celebrating is a person of somewhat doubtful behavior, legally accused, uses the court like a tool and makes fools of everyone that pays taxes doing it.
If accused do the citizens have access to the court system to the extent that they can manipulate the booking site - no.
If accused do the citizens have access to an attorney who can delay proceedings in perpetuity - No.
Do the citizens pay for the court in which the wealthy in position have that power - yes they do.
For normal citizens there is no warning in world wide media of impending arrest, no time to plan a smarmy strategy to be lauded by sheep, no bevy of
RNC attorneys to do research, etc.

So you are celebrating being used like a tool and paying for that privilege.
Whether you vote Democrat or Republican you still pay for that privilege.
So its a slick move to use us all like that. Pardon my lack of thanks.

Delay can not get a fair trial in a Democratic county. What will be his maneuver to avoid having blacks (i.e. democrats) on the jury. How will he avoid women jurors.

Wasn't Delay at the head of the ethics rules change to protect himself.

Don't Change the Rules for Delay
House Republicans proposed changing their rules last night to allow members indicted by state grand juries to remain in a leadership post, a
move that would benefit Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-Tex.) in case he is charged by a Texas grand jury that has indicted three of his political
associates, according to GOP leaders. (Source: WaPo)

Did not get his way that time. GOP backed off rules change.

Now if a democrat had done just this we would all know that there was some reason for suspecting guilt. But not Delay, all good republican sheep know
"'He never had sexual relations with that women"

Well it is the Republicans turn to get caught.

Change Delay to Exlax and shout "Slick Move Exlax".

I would celebrate if we could elect someone who is not a two faced product of exlax.

uh, the part i think is funny is that Dems would have loved to have a classic mugshot of delay for later use, and instead they are getting a headshot suitable for a Christmas card. =)

If Tom Delay gets to choose the location of his court because of too many democrats and gets to choose his judge and jury as a republican and not a democrat just on the basis of contribution and campaign support, isn't this a precedent that everyone else can be allowed to have.

Hope so.

So long Republican Supreme Court - we get to pick and choose thanks to Delay.
So Long Miers as a counter to Ginsberg - we get to pick and choose thanks to Delay.

If the precendent does come into being. Delay can be remembered for shutting down the court system and adding extreme cost to any court proceding based solely on party affiliation.

Why we could even reject payment of taxes based on a judgement that was not of our faith or er party
