There Are Warnings, And Then There Are Warnings
You can chalk this up to the strange coincidence department but I couldn't help but point it out. If you don't know of it, Haganah is:
Internet Haganah is a global open-source intelligence network dedicated to confronting internet use by Islamist terrorist organizations, their supporters, enablers and apologists.
On September 29th they published an article entitled Fearing Hit, Hamas Leaders In Gaza Going Underground. The name of the page is www-dot-internet-haganah.us/haganah/ratNscorpion.html
The strange item is the picture. That selection or cropping block insert is obviously focused squarely on Hamas leader Mahmoud a-Zahar, one of the individuals recently mentioned by Israeli Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz.
Hamas was responding to threats made on Tuesday by Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz, who said that if Hamas did not stop its rocket attacks, Israel would send Mahmoud Zahar and Ismail Haniyeh to the same place as slain Hamas leaders Ahmed Yassin and Abdel Aziz Rantisi.
The image (click to enlarge) is entitled NEXT, presumably to match the article - but look at the date stamp visible in the upper left hand corner of the image. It's next week, Monday October 10th at 12:25 AM.
It's probably nothing, but I certainly would want to be his house guest next Monday. Coincidences can be a bitch!

One thing about the Israelis. When they get serious, they get serious. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see this guy extinguished.

Thanks for the link to Haganah, Dan.
This is a very interesting website, and one that I will continue to read.

You're welcome, Betty - yes, it is a great site - I keep it in my research resources file. If you look around, you'll find links to several of the websites Hamas and other terrorest groups use. But not all are in English. Some of the Jihadi websites are fascinating though also frightening to read. But one must know the enemy as best one can.

Very true. Not directly related to this thread topic, but more to your last statement, I was just reading a good article on Iraq by Fouad Ajami from the Wall Street Journal. If all discourse about the war was as insightful as this, I might have to change my 'some' of my opinions, lol.
