Pulled up from the comments on another post - the best account I've read of the night of Taylor Behl's disappearance.
On Sept. 4, before Behl headed back to school, Hendricks talked to her one last time.
“She was loving being on her own,” Hendricks said. “She was loving college. She was loving this boy she met. All I could think was, good for Taylor. She deserved it all.”
But when Behl returned to her dorm on Monday, Sept. 5, she seemed down, her roommate said.
The college boyfriend “broke up with her,” Ellsworth said. “She wasn’t sad, really. They’d only known each other a couple of weeks. But she liked him.”
After a brief venting session, the two girls parted.
“I saw her later,” Ellsworth said. “She was walking away from the dorms with the boy.”
Behl said hello.
Ellsworth smiled cryptically at her, as if to say, “Hey, I see y’all made up.”
Later, Ellsworth said, she saw her roommate again, this time walking alone, “maybe headed to go get dinner.”
Awhile later, she saw Behl again – this time back in their room.
Ellsworth was with her boyfriend, who had come to Richmond to visit.
“We were watching a movie,” Ellsworth said. “Taylor came in. I said, 'So, you got back with that guy.’ She said, 'Kind of.’ ”
Behl walked over to her desk, grabbed a few things – probably her cell phone and car keys.
“And then she left,” Ellsworth said. “She said she’d be back in three hours.”
Three hours went by. Then four. Then five.
Ellsworth fell asleep. She had class the next day and figured Behl had simply lost track of time.
“The next morning, she still wasn’t back,” Ellsworth said. “I figured she’d slept at someone else’s place.”
Ellsworth went to class.
“When I got back to the room, I noticed her books hadn’t moved all day,” she said. “I thought that was kind of weird.”
She started asking people if they had seen Behl.
“I tried her cell phone but didn’t get an answer.”
Concern was growing.
“Right away I didn’t think something bad had happened to her,” Ellsworth said. “I mean, Taylor was kind of an independent person. I thought maybe she was visiting a friend.”

Credit is due to The Virginian Pilot. It was good huh Dan? I thought it was the best account also

Can anyone give me the names of the three skateboarders that went with Taylor skateboarding that night before she dissappeared?? I know one kid was named Matt but not sure of the other two.
Posted by: Diane | Friday, October 21, 2005 at 09:17 PM
... Matt, Kevin and Jesse

It seems unusual someone going out would say "I'll be back in 3 hours". Why give an amount of time when one would think time out would depend on what you were doing and if you wished to continue or quit or got tired or whatever....in 3 hours ...unless was just giving a range of time to be away so the roommate would know she and her friend had a block of time for privacy perhaps..
Posted by: Pearl | Friday, October 21, 2005 at 09:32 PM
... I would think that Pearl. She was giving her roommate an idea as to when she'd be back...
Posted by: AuntB | Friday, October 21, 2005 at 09:37 PM
Another thought...wasn't it reported Ben stated he walked her to the dorm so she could drop off her purse...borrowing a skateboard and going to ride with friends.
Roommate says she picked up couple things, maybe keys and cell phone. Doesn't mention dropping off a purse. If she picked up her keys it would imply she planned to use the car rather than go skateboarding and carrying the cell phone in event she needed to call anyone.
Anyone know what was found at the scene or is missing? The purse..cell phone...keys to car...etc. Are they accounted for?

One of the best reports that I've read to date too, informative, yet personable enough to give it a humane quality.

Does anyone know which magazine was due out today with an article on TB? Was it People Magazine?
Posted by: kjs | Friday, October 21, 2005 at 09:55 PM
Pearl,Taylor may have had no intention of driving anywhere. She may have taken her keys only to get back in her room if the roomate was asleep, not decent or gone when she got back.

A trip to Mathews and back would be about three hours.

Yes ..People Magazine.

P & Aunt B--That was my thought about the 3 hour thing. Give Emma time to watch the movie and do "whatever" and then come back.
P--I think Emma said Jake was the one who walked her back to the dorm--discrediting BF once again.
kjs--looked for that people mag today and it's gone! they have the 10/31 issue out already. well, i only looked in one store...
Posted by: abigail | Friday, October 21, 2005 at 10:36 PM
I have been reading up on this case for quite some time and one thing I haven't noticed or maybe wasn't paying much attention to, but did Taylor accually meet up with her skate boarding friends or did she never show up for that? Just wondering and I appoligize if this has been clarified in the past. ty again.
Posted by: Bonnir | Friday, October 21, 2005 at 10:57 PM
curious--interesting article and I'm glad his landlord came to his senses! However, this rough sex thing...is placing a bag over someones head considered "rough"? It's just plain idiotic to me. Not much BF says adds up, obviously.
Also, did BF not mention on one of his sites that he was missing a skate board and he hopes it turns up? WEIRD-O!
Okay, does everyone have a hot date tonight or something? Where is Rick, Bull and all the others? My date is snoring in the bed with my dog..or wait where is my dog? Be back in a flash...
Posted by: abigail | Friday, October 21, 2005 at 10:59 PM
No I am kind of here.................. still looking for that website I was telling you about LOL
Posted by: justathought | Friday, October 21, 2005 at 11:08 PM
Bonnir,
The link above explains that those details are unknown at this time. I don't think anything has been published stating exactly where Taylor went after she left her dorm at about 10:30. We only know where she ended up and who took her there.
Posted by: curious | Friday, October 21, 2005 at 11:11 PM
Yeah Beth,
I looked at the People magazine briefly and I didn't see anything...and then I looked at the table of contents under "News" and all I saw was about the Horowitz murder case. Just wondering if you happened to see this yourself.
Posted by: kjs | Friday, October 21, 2005 at 11:14 PM
abigail, I just showed up
Posted by: Rick | Friday, October 21, 2005 at 11:15 PM
no, i did not see it...I saw it being talked about on T.V. - on our local news. I thought about getting it. I did not see it out today either. i did Look at Target and Food Lion and CVS. I was out geting stuff and looked while i was waiting to pay in line. Nothing.

I couldn't find my post from about a week ago, but I wondered who had broken up with who at the Village Cafe that night. I had a feeling Jake had broken up with her, and now I know that to be true. She was feeling down. It could've caused her to do something she wouldn't normally do (out of depression), but then again it could've caused Ben to be jealous (as I suspected before) that she'd been going out with Jake for the 1 1/2 - 2 weeks since school started.
Also, looking back on old threads I had not seen before, I learned that his attack of last year when folks broke into his house and beat him up (and he said one left stabbed by his own knife) was all because he had raped a girl?! I didn't know that before! Oh my gosh. (If it's true, that is...) He had attributed that attack to Erin's friends as well.
Posted by: p | Friday, October 21, 2005 at 11:35 PM
People mag is gone from last week, they have 10/31 out now..asked the cvs girl if they had any old ones and she sort of responded like I was whack--which I am of course! I'm sure the library has them.
Rick, where you been all my life? hahaha! TGIF. Have you had time to catch up? Beth--who changed her name from bf to yeah beth!--can't blame her, "re-birthed" the scent dogs. How long does a scent stay in order for a dog to be able to trace it? Just trying to figure out the car thing. As far as we know BF's scent was not found. If he was in the car almost 2 weeks prior and had Jesse move it......dunno
Posted by: abigail | Friday, October 21, 2005 at 11:46 PM
Abigail: I'm caught up. Looks as if someone got fed up w/ AuntB and ran her off earlier. Some interesting stuff been added too.
Posted by: Rick | Friday, October 21, 2005 at 11:49 PM
Bonnir,
Like curious mentioned (I think my computer is like 20 minutes slow)I don't think we know for sure how the skateboarding friends came into play..I forget. C--don't make me read, how did the skate rats come into play in all of this?
Posted by: abigail | Friday, October 21, 2005 at 11:50 PM
Ab's I was under the impression we dont know whos scent was found only that it led to the sheppard street address.
Posted by: kinsey | Friday, October 21, 2005 at 11:54 PM
Rick,
Don't know what happend to B. I know Ax probably offended and/or annoyed her (as many seemed annoyed by him) and then anon2 had an issue with her. I did not notice a "problem" with her, but I was not involved at the time, so I don't know. I think Ax has to be taken as one of those very stupid humor movies. You have to be in the mood for it and if your not, then it's just not funny to you at the time. Many personalities in this bowl and sometimes they just don't mix.
What do you find interesting?
Posted by: abigail | Friday, October 21, 2005 at 11:58 PM
Abigail: I think Ax is like me, the unfortunate victim of a terminal case of smart ass. He's funny most of the time.
I found this lengthy interview with Emma interesting and the supposition that she (Taylor) knew she was going to be going to Mathews. But alas, I dont believe I can hang w/ you late nighters, esp as slow as things are moving.
Posted by: Rick | Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 12:05 AM
Kins--thought they traced Jesses scent to his aunts house and from there he got busted for coke and failed parts of the polygraph. although, these "leaks" are probably why there was a gag? What's J's last name? Going to see if he's on the VA court system site.
Posted by: abigail | Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 12:06 AM
wow what a frickin day.form the left and right. Its all making me delirious.almost to the point my laughter can not be controlled.Anon was ticked but alot of her refrences seemed to go back to posts between Rick, myself and teresa(i think)when ax was here this a.m.
Posted by: kinsey | Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 12:07 AM
Theres a Shultz and a Dolan i think someone said.Shultz is the nephew.I guess i missed something nothing new there but could of sworn le said A scent was picked up and followed and because I dont recall them pinning the scent to any paticular person I just assumed it may have been someone elses scent who went to the sheppard st address.
Posted by: kinsey | Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 12:10 AM
Rick, I think Ax is a smart ass, but wonder why he has so much time to screw with people. I must have not read the article well, as I did not read that Emma thought Taylor was going to mathews, but I've been trying to play catch up and "speed" read. Hey I've been hanging and going to work every stinking morning (probably why I found a gray today), not enough rest. Oh well, no one to blame, but you guys! hahaha, just kidding! I would think that you are used to staying up Rick the ff. Kudos to you, what a grand and honorable profession and am allowing you to go get your sleep! :) I'm going to get mine soon, either that or buy some hair dye and wrinkle cream! :)
"see" you next time!

>C--don't make me read, how did the skate rats come into play in all of this?
I believe Taylor told her roommate that she was going skateboarding that night. Where she actually went after she left her dorm is unknown--until the police finish their investigation. We might not know until the trial, or when the leaks start coming out about what BF has told or will be telling the police.

Just saw a cached bunch of skulz photos, people should'nt the ones of his kids be removed? It's not their fault their daddy is wackjob. Another observation. With the exception of Taylor all his models, were, er, kinda scary looking. His photography skills are from hunger. Sad, really.

C--Did that interview with Emma state that? I thougt Emma just said Taylor stated she would be back in 3 hours, and did not mention what she was doing or with whom she was going with? Dunno..
Posted by: abigail | Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 12:32 AM
Bob, yes the kids should be removed, but who has the authority to do that? Not to mention the fact that this guy has tons of sites and they go on forever...maybe mom is trying, but I would think a password or something would be involved. What if Ben is just basking in the knowledge that we are posting about him? I'm sure his "friends" keep up with all this and vist and report. Do you think he finally thinks he is being "recognized", and it does not matter if it's not his "art" but because of his sick mind? He is "known" now, and it's always been about him...dunno
Posted by: abigail | Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 12:39 AM
Forgot to reply to the last part of your blog Bob, yes the "models" were certainly not of Taylor class. Just goes to show that you do not have to show tits and "prove" to be different to get attention. Those pictures of Taylor are georgeous. Been some speculation on who took them, but I don't care who did. She is captured in innocense because she was innocent. She "made" those pictures what they are because she was beautiful and it absolutly breaks my heart to have to say, "was". Like I've said before--I don't give a crap what she did or how she acted, she was a "baby" and an adult almost old enough to be her father took advantage of her. Look into Bens eyes and then Taylors... decide who was the "bad" pawn in all of this. They eyes can tell many stories.

A--The interview with Emma wasn't complete as to all the details.

Summary: The "facts" that have been reported by the MSM may change when the investigation is completed.
I found the above answer by searching Google for these keywords:

You'll find many more links about this by searching for the above.

Bob - Did you find my message in the last Behl blog about how to find pages in your cache directory?
Posted by: curious | Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 12:57 AM
Bob - I think the page in your cache would probably be replaced with the newer version, now that I've thought about it. My thinking is very good right now.
Posted by: curious | Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 12:58 AM
C--you did not have to post all those links! Can you just give me the run-down? I do however appreciate your passion!
Posted by: abigail | Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 12:58 AM
Abigale, look under Categories,Taylor Biehl on the right then scroll down to Dan's rundown from 9/29 you will find most of your answers. Much easier than going into the details on this thread.

my understanding is the robot.txt does not hide but removes any archived article from the site. Doubt even the police with a warrant would be able to get the text.

ohhh, I need to use full names, thought some people were gone for the night and now they are back! Cindi--way to tired to research anything this evening. I was looking for a free ride of explinations! :)
Curious--mind changing your blog name to a "real" first name? Dr. Phil and I feel like it's time! Sorry, I'm just stupid and tired, but I do feel like we have all been in this long enough and we all need to "meet" in cyber space.

I've said before that this case was going to break my spirit and it has. We've got Mike Cino, the unpaid pimp who delivered Taylor into the hands of her executioner, idolized and pitied by an ignorant public too dumb to look closer. Last time i checked, 18 is the age of consent in VA, and he knew what he was bringing "home" to Skulz.
It's just sickening. The whole tragic affair with all the principal figures searching for father figures, and all suffering from varying degrees of mental illness. Why should we believe Behl was any different? All the evidence points that she wanted away from him. But it's the same with all these people. They are all skitzo. Ben is wonderful, Ben is a psycho. Cino says beware of Skulz, then he says
Posted by: Bob | Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 01:26 AM
see,
"way to tired "--not right. s/b 'too'
Okay I'm off. Have to go pumpkin and costume shopping this weekend, maybe catch up with you kids in the evenings. Ohhh, and I'm planning on napping if it's rainy, just have to convince my kid to nap with me!
Good night kids!

I told you in the last thread how to find old pages in the cache folder on your own hard drive. I wasn't talking about a webcrawler or the robots.txt file.
