As previously mentioned, investigators found significant amounts of grass and soil on the undercarriage of Taylor Bel's car. Now I'm guessing that soil comparisons match with the area where Taylor's body was found. Anyone who may have seen the vehicle in the Mathews County area that night is being urged to contact the authorities.
Police now think Behl's car may have been out near where her body was found and they're hoping a witness can provide a clue. If you were in Mathews County between Labor Day and September 17th, police want you to take a good look at this car.
Richmond detectives now believe Taylor Behl’s white 1997 Ford Escort may have been in the area during that time. If you happened to notice these license plates, they want to hear from you: There’s Behl’s plate: JPC 2848; there’s the GRN ERTH plates stolen around the time of her disappearance and there’s the Ohio EP 34 KW plates found on her car last month.
One of the so-called illegal activities which as been suggested as a result of comments previously mentioned here was the practice of riding a skateboard while hanging onto a fast moving vehicle. Can you imagine if this was simply a tragic accident after which someone decided to dispose of the body instead of simply reporting it?
In that case the license plate switch would have been done to conceal the identity of the vehicle for that activity, as opposed to the later crime. Weird thought, huh?

Oooh, Dan, new wrinkle. I'm thinking the skateboard tailgating isn't a bad scenario. Now, it wouldn't constitute a "highly illegal" endeavor, but I'm not sure Taylor ever said it in the first place.
Good idea. Gonna explore this.

Like I said this case will have more twists and turns in it looks like this is one of them. Dan if this scenario played out then there would be more than one person involved not just Fawley.I keep thinking there is more than one person somehow connected.

I guess it's a whole different world there in the skating community. The idea that Taylor would return to her dorm room after 10 pm, find her roommate with a guy, then say she's going skateboarding to give them some privacy is something I wouldn't do! Skateboarding after dark? Where? Don't think they'd drive to Matthews co. to skate, but to get rid of the body. Gotta think there were streets in Richmond where they could skate hanging on to cars if that's what they were doing. [P.S., I would have told the roommate to go to HIS room. But then, I had 8 am classes freshmen year while my roommate was at the library til midnight.]

Skitching? No way. That stopped being a thrill in fifth grade.
I have a feeling, though, that there will be more people emerging as this progresses.
One question, and I'll prob. get tarred and feathered for it:
Did Taylor and Cino have an intimate relationship? I seem to remember an interview on Greta with her friend, Glynnis Keough or Heough (sorry can't remember) a few weeks ago. She said "Cino? That was just a fling" or something nearly identical. But she called Cino a fling of Talyor's.
Any input on this one?

I told you I felt that the license plate switch was done before her death or murder because the plan that night was to do something else "highly illegal". It never made any sense to me for someone to bring her car back and leave it so close to her dorm, and THEN switch the license plates.
I thought they switched the plate to go commit some vandalism at Erin Crabill's, go to a meth lab, steal... something illegal. I didn't think about what Dan has suggested though. Would they really think it important enough to change the plates?
Posted by: Gail | Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 05:41 PM
Gail-agee w/ you only I don't sense a meth issue. I think it wsa a darker kind of vibe. Meth seems a little pedestrian for this group. MHO

I just read the following entries from Mike Cino's livejournal...he is talking about BF:
Finally, a supressed something I wanted to say, because even when I'm being nice, it's seen in the same wicked light.
Why, what kind of person would I be, were I guilty of all the sleights, accusations, and "fuck you's" that he's accused me of? I'd be the kind to say, "Fuck you Rachel, for . . . . " umm, damnit, that one's too hard. I'll try someone else. "Fuck you, Jessica, for . . . " . . . "Fuck you, Beth, for . . . " oh, wait a minute, I can't think of anything because I'm NOT THAT KIND OF FUCKING PERSON! I don't see what doesn't exist! I don't see the worst in people all the time, talk about people behind their backs, or try to find anything I possibly can to hate people for.
I'd be the kind to throw shit at you from the porch, to break the stuff that you've left behind out of spite. Oh shit, I mentioned breaking the shit he left behind. Now I'll bet he'll find something wrong with his microwave and blame it on me. Stacking your furniture you wanted back neatly under our porch was not a "fuck you." You seem to think I lack imagination. If that was a "fuck you," I wouldn't have spent the time to neatly stack it under the porch out of the rain. I would have put it out on the curb, or set it on fire, or cut each thing in half. Mayhaps a neatly painted, carved, or drilled "fuck you?" If there's anything you've learned about me, it could be that I don't half-ass it.
I see, after all this time, why so many people could do all the bad shit to him that he said (even in they didn't actually do it). It's because he pushed them to it. I'm not sure whether it's some multiple personality thing, or just that he's really hateful. I see why they would try to warn people away from him. It's because he fucks up the lives of anyone he gets close to. Whoops, I finally accused him of something. I now join the leigons of those who have warned.
Beware of Skulz.

I'm still going with the accidental death scenario, but not skitching. That's highly stupid not "highly illegal". Then, the "highly illegal" comment is really heresay. As no one can prove she told this Kevin person anything. I like the vandalism toward Erin's family property as illegal activity. Man this thing is loaded with questions! Noted: Cino's rant against Fawley is dated in June. Anyone who's ever had a room mate knows how annoying they can be. If a nice hispanic man picked Fawley up and drove him home.....why hasn't the nice man come forward to co-whatever :-) his story?
Posted by: Rick | Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 06:41 PM
That's the good (or bad, depending on your point of view) thing about the Hispanic guy. No comprende - he doesn't understand English, doesn't watch the news, etc. I always thought that would be Ben's alibi.
However, in my SWAG, I used the Hispanic guy, so now he officially exists.

I thought I read that the police Chief said that Taylor would not have been able to do that to herself. I guess meaning the condition of the body, like it had been...well dismembered? I don't think that would indicate an "accidental" death.
Posted by: abigail | Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 07:09 PM
Abigail,
I have not heard anything about dismemberment. We do have "skeletal remains" though. SEVERE GROSS STUFF WARNING!!! Any "dismemberment" of the body could very well have come from animals. I wont go into decribing what happens to bodies in the woods.
Also note that by accidental death, I do not mean she tripped and fell off a roof. My theory was that the "highly illegal" activity may have been making a fetish video where something went horribly wrong. In such a scenario whomever was with her might have panicked and hid the body rather than admit to "accidently" tying some bondage device too tight. ESPECIALLY if that person was an ex-con with a record of violence toward women.
Posted by: Rick | Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 07:21 PM
Rick,
I understand about the animal thing, but I'm guessing the experts would be able to tell the difference. I just thought what I read was suggesting dismemberment. I'll see if I can find it.
The accidental death theory, well, I meant the skateboarding on the back of a car or something reckless like that.

Or horribly right, depending on who's eyes your seeing through.......
Plus she was only 17.
Posted by: absynth_minded | Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 07:39 PM
AM-Exactly. Accidental death due to erotic strangulation b/w consenting adults, one thing. But she was a child.
Funny how we all seem to get back to this concpet and image. Even when we can't agree on anything else, fetish/BDSM, etc., come back. LE, pay attention, I guess..
As far as college roommates go-who didn't have "guests" even though roomie was home?
Posted by: Midwest anon | Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 07:52 PM
On second thought dismembering a body would explain how a wimpishly built guy like Fawley could lift the dead weight of someone who weighed almost as much as himself.Of course, there would be blood forever somewhere. Surely the LE searched all of the buildings on the farm. Skitching behind a car is viable as a deadly accident. I don't discount the possibility at all, but it isn't "highly illegal". Now being 17 and making a fetish video? That'd qualify as "highly illegal". "Or horribly right, depending on who's eyes your seeing through......." may imply that the death was intended. Unless of course they were playing with autoerotic asphxiation or the like........and it worked too well.
Posted by: Rick | Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 07:54 PM
There are so many possibilities and LE said: "we feel confident we know what happened to Taylor that night". Most likely not an exact quote...but we want to know, her family needs to know. Do they share info with her family while all this is going on or do they have to sit and wait? What an absolute nightmare.
Also, someone questioned earlier on another blog about why would she be wearing a hooded sweatshirt? It was warm that day. I only remember because it was Labor day and we were swimming. Sure, it gets cooler at night, but she was being active. She was going skateboarding and for all I know she walked to dinner and who knows where else (I could have missed something though). People walk all over the fan if they can so they don't lose thier parking space.

I find it hard to believe BF dismembered her body-even if done after death that would leave alot of forensic evidence on him that would be easily transferred to her car if he were driving it as its thought. No way he could have removed all blood evidence from himself/clothing in the middle of the woods in the dark. I think strangulation will most likely be the cause of death or possibly even blunt force trauma to the head with the missing tripod? I seem to recall in another post one of his ex's stating he choked her for nearly 10 seconds? Then threatened to kill himself if she left him. As far as the auto-erotica aspect anythings possible but I still dont think T agreed to have consentual sex with him-From my reading of his/her logs specifically his "Sex" log which mentions various girls/women he had sex with-He mentions "T" and even states he doesnt think it will happen again? but if it were up to him he had something he'd like to try with her next time? This leads me to believe she told him fairly early on after the first time it wouldnt happen again-and it wasnt by his choice/decision as he'd like to do it again if he could. Why couldnt he? Because she stated she didnt want to again!
Posted by: stella cotton | Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 08:15 PM
SC-
All true, and I think he most likely did choke her , but I was just pondering on what I read about her body and how she could not have done "that" to herself. Whatever "that" was.
Yeah, but you know the people who abducted him "stole" his equipment. :) Did he capture her demise on film and ditch the stuff to try to go back for it later? Is that why the cops now want to know if anyone has seen the car in Mathews after the 5th/6th? But then would he be that dumb to download those kind of pictures onto his computers because he certainly would not take them to the local photo shop. Does he know how to develope photos himself?
Posted by: abigail | Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 08:29 PM
Did he not say he had sex with her the day she disappeared? Or did he say he had sex with her.The day she disappeared? I do agree that there would be a mess that he could not clean up had he dismembered anyone. Abigail made a good point about wearing a hoody that night. But she may be one of those people who are always cold. I guess everything we come up with is supposition until we get some facts. Some might think we're a bit ghoulish trying to figure out what happened. Im sure that the family is getting information that the rest of us are not. I hope that right now they are more concerned about saying good bye to Taylor properly than the nuances of this investigation.

I think he did say he had sex with her that day, but hell, like someone else mentioned it could be because that would explain DNA on her if they found it--say he raped her. I would not believe a damn thing that...(well, I don't know what to call him) says anyway.
It would be a mess to clean up I guess but he had what, 6 hours--well more than that. Can anyone account for him from the time he got home from his abduction and the time he made a police report? Of course I don't know how much time it would take, but what if it was not total dismemberment? I don't know! I faint at the sight of blood, so it's hard to even think about it. Like I said before, just wondering what CM meant.
I had nothing to do with the sweatshirt thing--just to mention that she was probably active and would be hot. Another blogger brought that point up. I'm cold all of the time when I'm sitting mostly, but once I get moving I'm stripping the sweatshirt off. Maybe she thought she would just be hanging out somewhere and needed it. Like in someones apartment who had to have the air up high for all his freaky sex stuff. Don't know.

Also,
I don't know if people would think we are "ghoulish" trying to figure out what happened. I believe most people are here for the same reason, and if you don't not care to know what happened to a beautiful, smart girl then they would not be on here "looking".
I would think that the family is preoccupied with the services and what they are going to do without thier "angel" in human form, but after all that is over with, I think they will be more involved than ever with this case. They need answers and I think it will haunt them forever, even if "someone" confesses or just is convicted based on evidence.
Dunno, I have never lost a child, but have lost a parent and although we knew it was coming, I still get angry and wonder "why" after 2 years. Not trying to bring any attention to myself, but if it's that hard to lose a parent (I'm sure many here have), but to lose "your baby" to "murder". Just put me away if I had to deal with it. There would be no "dealing". I'd be a gonner. No parent should have to bury a "baby", no matter how young or old that baby is.

You're so right Abigail, I cannot imagine lsoing one of my girls or my grand kids....especially like that. I lost my dad 9 years ago and few days go by that I don't want to talk to him still. Also, I don't really care if anyone does think us ghoulish. I was responding to a rather rude post on another page. I'm new at this blog stuff and did not realize that every link you hit goes to an entirely different comment section. There should be a class "blogging for dummies"

I wouldn't put it past Ben to allow his fetishistic and death interests to lead him down the dark path towards making a snuff film. You know, they call extreme BDSM "edge play," for a reason. Many of the extreme practices really do border on life and death.
As for what he'd put on his PCs, if the kiddie porn is his, he's already answered that question. He knows enough about photography though to develop film and my bet is his place has a darkroom.

What rude comment??--out of the pure fact that I'm nosey! I am new to this blog stuff too. The owner of the company I work for introduced me to this site, as we had discussed the case. I'm now an "addict" as far as this investigation goes. I know he gets on this site at work and I don't want to get "busted" since I log on with my name, so I'm left out during the day and have to "catch up" when I get home. I also wonder if maybe Taylors family and/or friends are reading all of this (if they are looking here) and are just devistated by the speculations and "visuals" about what we are posting. I would hope most people are not disrespectful when they mention Taylor because that would just hurt her family and friends more. I think most of us just have a "connection" for whatever reason. Either we have kids, live in Richmond, remember what a trying and confusing time our teenage years were or just captivated by that beautiful smile of Taylors. My favorite pic of her is her wearing the doowop darling shirt, but it won't be if "he" took it.
As for the sweatshirt hoody thing, I just did not want to take credit for something I did not notice, so that's why I mentioned that--but just later thought about how it would have been VERY hot and uncomfortable if she was "moving"--in whatever form.

livesinmathews--
Are you on? You stated earlier that you know the Bings well (the property that Taylor was found). Well, being that the Crabills property backs up to thiers, do you know the them as well? Are you a Bing or Crabill? Just curious!

I knew Taylor. While I wasn't exactly close friends with her, I definitely did know her, and graduated from high school with her. I also know that a lot of the speculations about her character that some people have made aren't accurate. She was a nice girl, who maybe hung out with some sketchy kids, but she herself was fine and perfectly pleasant girl. A person shouldn't be judged by some of the people they are friends with.
Posted by: l | Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 10:43 PM
!--I agree with your statement, and most of it is all speculation. What do any of us know about her on this blog? Maybe a few lurking here "knew" her, but whatever happened to her was not deserving and I'm so sorry. I was a teenager a "million" years ago and I was involved in some "stuff" that I'm not proud of now, but I made it somehow and I'm a productive and unharming member of society. Meaning I work and support my family and do what I have to do to live and not depend on others. I'm sorry Taylor did not have a chance to learn from "life" and I do not mean that any of this was her fault. I just mean that she did not "get away" in time. Am I not sounding right? It seems that she ended up with someone that not even I (invincible at the time), way back when could have been "safe" with--is what I'm trying to say.
Posted by: abigail | Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 11:07 PM
To some of us, this is like a live action detective game played by like minded "enthusiasts." To others, this offers a way to communicate feelings in a healthy manner, knowing that those feelings will continue to eat at us until we've spoken our peace. Then there are those of us that are doing this as a means of taking action and assisting in whatever way we can, for whatever reason. Perhaps we see Taylor in ourselves or a loved one, and sadly, many of us have even know a "Taylor."
We continue to speculate and offer wisdom and insight, despite knowing that the story has already been written and the ending is known by those who need to know it at this time.
My only wish in all of this is that Taylor and her loved ones have justice and whoever is responsible pays with whatever punishment our legal system decides is fit for them.

You expressed the feeling that:
"A person shouldn't be judged by some of the people they are friends with."
However, this is hoping against hope.
When my older brother and I were growing up, one of my dad's sayings was:
"If you run with a skunk, you'll smell like a skunk."
Rather, this is a reality that no one is able to overcome - no one.

Like my dad always said, "You're only as good as the company you keep."
I grew up in a rough area and lost alot of friends at an early age. I lost even more to the prison system. I guess I've always had a good head on my shoulders and a conscience, that has to be the only reason that I never went down that same path, because there were plenty of times it could've happened.
As I grew older, I grew wiser. Saw that I had to distance myself from that life. Some people call it "selling-out," I called it getting out, moving on, and most importantly, living to talk about it.

Did anyone notice in Taylors online journal that one of the girls that posted there the I_Smoke_Tampons girl that I believe it was around the 4th of September she made a post that said "watch out" wonder what that meant, I wonder if Taylor tolder her something about BF or even the IST girl lives near Richmond too and knew of BF, but maybe she was trying to warn Taylor of something like BF or maybe Taylor was going to tell BF it was over and the IST girl was worried for some reason about Taylor.
I am at work and can not access her online journal from her to post the actual like to this.

Yes. It was a ministry in itself. One quickly learns that each paraplegic is unique in his disabiliity. This requires design changes in the products to facilitate that unique set of abilities/inabilities each person has.
In reality, those physical abilities/inabilities that people have is an allegory to those mental/personality abilities/inabilities that people have. Where there is a physically blind person who cannot see worldly things, there is also a mentally blind person who cannot see spiritual things.
It is this awareness that causes me to hurt so much for Taylor and others like her. I so wish that I could have been a counselor to her. Yet it is good that I could not have been. My retirement job is such that instead of being able to help only a handful of listeners, hopefully many millions can be helped by means of the written word.

LOL :)
That is the equation for a cantilever beam. (diving board for example)
d = deflection of the beam at the tip for the following conditions:
S = stress in the extreme fibers of the beam (on the surface, not the C/L)
l = length of the beam (squared)
E = elasticity of the material (wood, steel, copper, brass etc.)
t = thickness of the beam
In 35 years, I have never found an adult Sunday school class with "a convenient chalkboard." Very sad. I have never even attended an adult Sunday school class in which visual aids were used during the teaching process. (movies don't count here) No wonder it is written that "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge."

gw-
the I_smoke_tampons is the girl she was with at one time, back in hsschool I think....a lesbo exprience she's written about in her journal. the watchout photo was removed once this investigation was heating up, but prior to that, it was an invitation for TB to join a 'pretty lesbian party'. Unfortunately, I believe TBs mom has gotten TMI, and had it removed.
