Taylor Behl Identified?
I have an uncomfirmed initial report that the body has been identified as Taylor Behl.
This is an unpleasant thought related to Ben Fawley:
The following communities are also interested in "shallow graves".
linenowhere - Line Nowhere
I've also been told Cino is alleged to have just posted and deleted a comment which included the phrase: "that FUCKER...and to think I gave him the benefit of the doubt".
Update: If Missing and Abducted is correct - the caption under one image entitled the long road home is: :: Was visiting the home of someone and went for a walk to take some photos in the morning before everyone woke. ::
( 9 PM Update: From commenter link
According to police, their investigation included several searches, and in one of those searches, some pictures were seized, including a picture of the general area where the human remains were found. Police said one of the witnesses they spoke to recognized the area in the photograph.

Thanks Dan.
How sad. Thoughts and prayers to her friend's and family and those working so hard to find an answer,Richmond Police, all LE, Dan, Steve.

I feel so sorry and hurt that it could be Taylor.
Probably is from what I've been finding on the net.
My daughters name is Taylor.. (not spelled the same) Not that that matters... just rips my heart out.
My prayers and hope are with all the lives that Taylor has touched.

Well, I think this sums it up for me and maybe for Cino now too. Ben had been hurt one too many times. Taylor didn't care about him anymore either and he finally lost it. Very sad news to see this but I felt it was Ben the whole time. Cino, I had a hard time understanding you defending him after all I have read and believe me I am NO angel. I have nothing against goths. I just saw the proof in his ramblings. You can learn alot about someone that way... I feel so sorry for all of you that are friends and family of Taylor's. God Bless..

You have to wonder how well trained/prepared VCU police were to deal with this case. Seems no real headway was made until it was transfered to Richmond P.D. and the FBI. (though it is ironic that two VCU officers were the ones who pieced the puzzle together which ultimately led them to the shallow grave.)
The fact that they were searching this area based on a lead provided by Fawley's ex (just reported on the news)when she recognized the area and the barn from pictures of Ben's that she was shown by investigators, doesn't bode well for a happy ending.
I've heard people wishing that it is not Taylor, but that theoretically would mean that they are hoping it's someone elses mother, wife, sister, daughter, ect...
It's a tragic loss any way you color it....... :(

This is such a tragic story, and I am, as is frequently the case, ready to get rid of my TV. I was checking out what was on various news channels earlier and came across Rita Cosby (Crosby? - don't really care.) She kept repeating the phrase 'remains are presumed to be Taylor's.' There was also a banner on the screen that said this. Rita was speaking to a VA reporter and he corrected her when she made her "presumed" comment, saying that it was not the case, but she continued to say it anyway. It makes me sick that a skanky reporter will use the death of a child to try boost ratings.
Sorry, I needed to get that off of my chest.

BTW - I am not including a discussion in a setting like this in my blast of people behaving inappropriately in this situation. The audience here is small, everyone cares, and no one has anything to gain by expressing their opinion.
My heart is absolutely breaking for Taylor's family and friends. As difficult as the past month has been, tonight has got to be the absolutely most painful moment that a parent could ever experience.

The VCU police are very well-trained; they're part of the elite Va. State Police. I'd say the fact that they investigated the clue and found the body speaks highly for their skills and dedication.

Perhaps, but still makes me wonder why it took so long to get the ball rolling? The girl has been missing since Sep. 5th. IDK, just seems that they missed something of importance that would have lead them to the "shallow grave," earlier..

The ball WAS rolling, they just weren't telling us about it; they don't appraise the press about all they do. Also, they didn't really "hand the case Over" to the Richmond police as in 'oops, we give up.' They expanded the investigation team to include FBI (access to a LOT more resources) and Richmond police. It took a while to shake up the witnesses and get them to tell. The Washington Post reports that they were looking at the web sites from day 1; but it takes a while to figure out where in the entire state a picture of a barn comes from--they needed the witness to give it up and that sometimes takes time. Those kids closed ranks and defended Fawley for a long time before talking.

I think we all thought that someone knew what had happened but wasn't telling.
It took one (or more) of these kids a month to open up and tell; the police were asking all along. Someone knew all along.

.... i always had a hunch that taylor would not be found alive. But i always hoped she would return. Ben fawley and jessie schultz (however u spell his name) i think both had something to do with her disapearance, who knows. One failed a lie dectector test, so i heard, and the other had a really screwed up kidnapping story (yup that would be ben) maybe they knew each other. I dont understand why people want to kill one another. God someone should torture who ever did this. ... May god be with you Taylor.
