Pamela Vitale Murder: New Details Emerge

Pamela Vitale, wife of prominent defense attorney Daniel Horowitz, suffered a four-inch deep stab wound in her abdomen and was found by police lying in a pool of blood in her living room, according to documents released Monday.

Horowitz called police at 5:53 p.m. on Oct. 15 and screamed, "Help me, she's dead," according to an affidavit filed by a Contra Costa County sheriff's deputy in support of a search warrant.

Deputies searched the home of Scott Dyleski, 16, on Oct. 19. Dyleski was charged as an adult with murder last week in connection with Vitale's death. Investigators seized two laptops, a computer central processing unit, bedding, knives and a duffel bag from Dyleski's house, just down the hill from Horowitz and Vitale's estate.

Investigators said Vitale had a "traumatic head injury, multiple wounds on her legs, and was lying in a pool of blood." They also found a bloody shoeprint on the lid of a storage container at the crime scene, according to the affidavit.

Authorities believe Dyleski went to the home looking for the growing equipment and got in a fight with Vitale, an investigative source who requested anonymity told the San Francisco Chronicle last week.

Its a very very sad case. I do not know what to say anymore about these kids that do these things. They are out of control is all I know.

They are "out of control" because their parents,adults around them,teachers,friends,etc are out of control. No one has any interest in questioning, helping,recognizing,etc any one.
It is now PC to say,do or see NOTHING! EVER!

Pam fought so hard to live. I keep thinking of her children. How hard it must be for them and Dan to hear this but how proud of her they must be. She fought so hard for her life. Her courage and her will to live will nail this piece of pond scum. Prayers for her family. God Bless you Pam! May you rest in peace!

Well at least that part makes more sense. I was wondering why he thought the delivery went to them.

Also kind of throws a conspiracy right to the wind, the kid did it and did it on his own. Dan wasnt involved in illegal pot growing, that would be too far out there.

Maybe because he stole their credit card information too, thereby thinking the products were delivered to that credit card billing address. (in error instead of the ship to address)

Maybe not? I think he stabbed her in the stomach during the struggle and then clubbed her over the head (39x) to make sure she was dead. The ME knows for sure how it went down.

They know the killer wore gloves and tonight on NG a former housemate said SD always had them on as part of his GOTH wardrobe. It was also reported police may have found one at his home possibly with blood stains on it.

That may be true but the ONLY one I feel like blaming right now for this vicious murder is the "out of control" kid that did it. I'm so angry and disgusting with him I hope he gets a life sentence for taking the life of Pam Vitale.

lets stop the witch hunt....just because he listend to marilyn manson and wore makeup, perhaps all black doesnt make him a killer. This is no better than the West Memphis Three case.
