Actually dan, was banned from the chat when I dared to question some insignificant fact about the family. have been banned ever since. They are the original BHT cult and the discussion will center around "OMG we are going to finally get them, we will finally put them in jail" not "let's put our heads together and find her". They are a truly frightening, inflexible, intransigent bunch of people I have ever seen.

I suppose it could work as some other model, but it's not realy a blog if you are going to do that - more of a commercial enterprise and you're jumping into an already very competitive marketplace with some well-funded competition.

Doesn't mean it can't work. But you better have a way to define and market yourself. The camera content will get you the camera advertising - but where does the traffic come from? They are deluding themselves if they thought they were a high traffic blog. Once their forum went down - the sitemeter tanked. It was always obviously that all that traffic was basically the same people clicking red post thread over and over.

They also appeared to have mostly cut themselves off from other blogs. I try to link to several different ones a day. Didnt appear as they chose to do that.

I assume the camera content that you are talking about Dan is the photos of what Red visited while he was in Aruba. You are right, anyone can produce pictures, but what does that mean, really? Nothing, that is what I got from the photos they provided. There was no true anything that came from those pictures that we hadn't already seen from the MSM.

I also hear you on the point that they cut themselves off from other blogs, because I take part in many political blogs, as well as true crime forums. But your point is noted, within a blog(if you are a true reader of blogs)the owners of blogs with consistantly support other bloggers by linking them.

Ohhh...I forgot to add, I realize also with what you are saying, Dan..because I remember when SM banned you from their site, very early, when I couldn't see what their problem was by doing such a thing. It spelled it out to me that they had something to fear from you. Very sad, because bloggers don't bite each other when they are on the same good path together. Thats what I have seen. But swimming in the nude is a widely accepted activity in Aruba,although most only go topless.However there are many beaches on Aruba that people go totally nude.
