If, like me, you have spent any significant amount of time on the Internet, and especially, reading blogs - you have no doubt concluded that everyone else out here on the Internet is nucking futz.
Consequently, as it appears that you and I are, in point of fact, the only two sane people out here - why in the hell do we stick around?

A 12 step program might help :)

I'm using "The Misery Loves Company" defense. The "Twinkie" defense has already been used! You never know when something we've read on these blogs might end up being a question on Jeopardy! :)

'Cuz we love going to the Zoo and looking in the cages. We love to pretend we're on the good side of those bars.

Who says I think you're sane? :o)
Actually, I think I'm here mainly for breaking news and the heated debates, but also for the overall circus-circus atmosphere. It's also a form of entertainment.

It's like slowing down on the highway as you pass an accident. You want to see how bad it was and then say thanks that it's not you.

Feeling too tired to think for myself so I'll revert to quoting others :)
All the world’s indeed a stage
And we are merely players
Performers and portrayers
Each another’s audience
Outside the gilded cage
~Limelight by Rush
Another song comes to mind too, but it's too long to post here so I'll link it.

I think it's a bit of psychological voyeurism for me. I like to watch. LOL.

This tune often sums up how I feel -
"Well I don't know why I came here tonight
I've got a feelin' that somethin' ain't right...
Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right...." ("Stuck in the Middle With You" Stealers Wheel)
Then, there's always Catch 22 to think about. LOL

I started reading blogs when the aruba story first broke. They're a good source of info and follow up and you get to comment!
