Via ABC - it appears there's a new act in town. Look closely at the T-shirts.

Known as "Prussian Blue" — a nod to their German heritage and bright blue eyes — the girls from Bakersfield, Calif., have been performing songs about white nationalism before all-white crowds since they were nine.

"We're proud of being white, we want to keep being white," said Lynx. "We want our people to stay white … we don't want to just be, you know, a big muddle. We just want to preserve our race."

Songs like "Sacrifice" — a tribute to Nazi Rudolf Hess, Hitler's deputy Fuhrer — clearly show the effect of the girls' upbringing. The lyrics praise Hess as a "man of peace who wouldn't give up."

"It really breaks my heart to see those two girls spewing out that kind of garbage," said Ted Shaw, civil rights advocate and president of the NAACP's Legal Defense Fund — though Shaw points out that the girls aren't espousing their own opinions but ones they're being taught.

Okay, here's where I walk the the plank and get people with widely different views to hate me. Why is it that so many people are going to jump into the frey and denounce this as an outrageous, hateful, inappropriate example of racism; yet expect America to tolerate the likes of a Louis Farakhan and Kanye West, who are, you know, only expressing a personal belief or political position?

I'm not saying the children above aren't being victimized by what they're being taught, nor am I defending it. I'm saying it's time for good people to take stands on principle not politics and start speaking up against hate on both sides of this argument. It takes two to tango, and this isn't a dance our nation needs to do any longer unless we allow and even encourage it.

For example - asking a group of adult millionaire basketball players to dress more professionally when traveling for their business is not racist, nor born of a plantation mentality. Constantly invoking what should be discredited, race-bating arguments like that on every issue is only going to engender more and more distasteful, race-based behavior like the above.

I think the important thing here is that those who have an intelligent mind support these kids' right to display their stupidity, because we have the ability to discount it. It is a reflection on the kids' intelligence and moral upbringing to do what they are doing.

However, there are those who are taken in by these types of antics and will overreact--from both sides of the coin, and that is what they seek.
I find it ironic that they wish to exress their freedom by showcasing people whose main goal in life was to deny that very same freedom to others..to the point of murder, torture and imprisonment.

In the final analysis, they have the right to do what they are doing, but their moral base is about that of a snail.

Kanye West is an entertainer; he singled out one politician who happens to be "white" and called him out using the classic GOP doesn't care about minorities/"blacks" line. Nothing new here, and if you read the coverage about Michael Brown not having time to deal with the Superdome because he needed to go to a restaurant in Baton Rouge, that line isn't coming from a vacuum.

The two girls that you wrote about are being used as shills for California's white supremacy movement. They are being pimped as golden state Neo Hitler Youth. They are wearing Hitler smiley face tshirts. Their site says they don't want to be in a "muddle," a cute spin on the even cuter term "mud people."

Look, I'm part Prussian and I also have brown skin. I am familiar with the Prussian Mennonite background I have, and cherish it. These kids are in a cult, and I really wonder if the cultural heritage that they are familiar with goes much further than ethnic costumes and skin privilege. Oh, I forgot: they like to rock. I just think that California (esp. Southern California) carries strange traces of the history of that "curious institution"; many people from the pre civil rights south migrated to the west coast for jobs, and xenophobia has been common in California since the early 20th c.... Then you have the survivalist thing in Washington, Idaho, and etc. and the white supremacist and survivalist groups can easily empathize with one another (others think we are pariahs, there's going to be a race war, and etc.).

I have relatives who used to vacation in Couer D'Alene, Idaho, and basically I couldn't go thereas a kid bec. it wasn't safe for me.

It's scary to think of how many hate groups are out there...

I've met plenty of extremists from all sides. I can remember meeting people who had never seen a Blck person til bootcamp and then having to share a bunk area with one. It's amazing how alot of these people can be turned around once removed from their hostile environment and allowed to think on their own.

Home schooled? I'd be willing to bet on just the opposite. I have been both a public school teacher and home schooled my own. The reason SPECIFICALLY is the outright lies being taught in history and government in the public schools--and the lies are one of the major reasons I left.

We put the 14 year old in public school this year. The lowest grade he has made is 91, and basically everything they are "teaching" him he had two to five years ago--at home. There have, in fact, been parents of kids in his class calling him to ask him how to do the homework. Wonder why?

So my suggestion is to get off the "groupthink" mentality and see that SOME homeschool people may not be prepared, and SOME public school people may not be prepared. This "group" idea has never worked and it will never work. After all, you are a single human being are you not, or must you get your thinking from the "group" first?

These kids are screwed up because of their parents, and whether they were in the public school or not, would have made no difference at all. And it is not a "group" of kids, it is two. Hardly an indictment of either home school or public school....but their parents...yep!

I remember a grade school teacher that was very biased during the history talk of the Israel-Palestine topic. I'm glad that I am the flexible thinker that I am , and later investigated for myself! Childhood is such a crucial time for the beliefs being taken in.

The fact that here in Blighty ( England ) if a white person mentions anything predujice/ racist/ even in the remote to any other creed apart from taking the piss out of the Scots, Welsh and Irish ( in which we all do to each other.) we get threatened with up to seven years in jail, where as a an asian be it muslim or other can do what the fuck they want. peddling hate on the streets, dealing drugs mugging people, only then to fall back on a religion or there skin colour.

But if you come into a country you abide by there laws, not make them up as you go along because of your skin colour or religion.

In England we can't fly our own flag without being threatened to be locked up under anti-racial laws.
We can't celebrate St.Georges day because it's racist, but we'll celebrate, Paddys Day, 4th of July, even Austrailian day.

Where else in the the world do you see an Army apart from the States go into a foreign country to help in the aid of others, if in the east they are so loyal to each other in religion and brotherly love, how come any asian country did not send its forces to aid in Serbia when the masses of muslim people where getting killed.
