Gore Staffer Spied

I don't get it. They didn't need spies during the Clinton Presidency - he gave everything to China!! ; )

Okay, he was working for Cheney afterwards and this really isn't a joke. Homeland Security? We might as well call ACME Alarm and have them wire the border. Beep!! Beep!!

See here and here.

» Marine Spy in the White House from T. Longren
A marine, recently assigned to the staff of Vice President Dick Cheney, is suspected of spying from within the White House for nearly 3 years. I read this at The Jawa Report lastnight before I went to bed. Apparently this story has been around for n... [Read More]

That is because Homeland Security is meant to only spy on their enemies---free Americans.
I am curious that if we are hit with another terrorist attack, will they admit Fatherland....er...Homeland Security is a failure and disband it?
Heck no, they will suppress more freedoms....watch!

they can only suppress what you allow.

Out of work here, how much does a spy make? Better yet how much does one make who shoots one?

What happened?

Should have been clearer...

Were you downsized, or there are just no jobs available?

That will work only if you change the word "you" to "we."
Right now, there aren't anough "we's" that understand what is going on...but as fast as things are moving they cannot sleep forever.

Staff Member from the Office of the Vice President Spied:

Officials from the White House, Justice Department and FBI declined to comment late yesterday, other than to confirm that Aragoncillo first went to work at the White House in 1999 when Al Gore was vice president. ABC News reported last night that Aragoncillo had admitted taking classified documents while he worked in Cheney's office, but officials with the FBI and U.S. attorney's office in Newark declined to comment on the report.

Over a week ago, I heard on NPR (don't go there I'm in no mood) that illegals in Cali are complaining that there are no jobs......... Now, to cross the border usually costs about $8,000 via a "coyotee" who will guide you thru the border gaps and the desert to get you to an urban center. While you wait around, you could be robbed, raped or worse. And they keep coming.

Short of building a "Berlin Wall", (which they've already tried out of steel), the entire length of the Mexican border with guns turrets at every mile, what would YOU do Mr. and Mrs. America? If you build a wall they will tunnel. Or simply go to Canada and cross there. They have tunnels too, in Washington state. If you are voting for pres. solely on false promises to take care of "illegals", (you know who you are) don't bother. The free market will take care of the situation - ask Alamo, LOL.

Dan, ACME Security sounds great. I love that guy, BEEP BEEP!

It definitely would if governments will get out ot the way--totally, and let workers compete based upon talent and ability. If one group or another wasn't subsidized, given legal preference, etc.

The reason you see illegals is that they will work for less than Americans at certain jobs. This a semblence of the free market, but it is NOT the free market. Why? Because the employers seeking lower wages are forced to do so by minimum wage laws here that penalize the owner, the worker and the welfare state, and keep people on the welfare rolls.
Ridiculous regulatory compliance has to be paid by someone. In the end, the consumer pays the price in higher costs, taxes, and the "fight" to keep illegals out. In order to still make a living, the business owner will hire lower wage workers if he can.

I think that people are not complaining about the illegals who come here to work...as they used to, but now they get free medical, welfare, and school for their kids, and yet, they pay no taxes. For these reasons illegals come, no longer to work, but for the freebies. They rob, rape and steal. Why? Because it is more profitable than working. When you reward something--it will grow. When you penalize something--it will decline.
Thus, we have a growing welfare mentality and dependency, not only from illegals, but citizens as well. It is profitable to not work, and has become more profitable as time goes on. At the same time the producing class continues to shrink and the burden on those left grows ever larger.

The results...welfare classes continue to grow, producing classes continue to shrink, and soon chaos and revolution (not necessarily violent) when the working class can no longer produce enough for all. The final result---total government control. This is the m.o. that has worked in ALL socialist countries, and it is working quite well right here.

Awww Al, you ARE a romantic idealist, lol. I know you'll kick my butt in a rhetorical argument; I've only got my own opinion, based on observation and direct experience....... can't speak for Texas or the rest of the country. But - here goes:

>PREMISE: The reason you see illegals is that they will work for less than Americans at certain jobs.

No way, kimosabe....day laborers - guys standing around over at Home Depot get MORE than minimum wage (which is higher in Cali) We've even built permanent covered shelters for them. Ditto child care workers. Anyone can stand and get work. I NEVER ever see anglos or others.

>PREMISE: now they get free medical, welfare, and school for their kids, and yet, they pay no taxes

Again, not entirely true. Medical, yes. Any guest of our country may go to public hospital, clinic. Welfare - illegals do not qualify for welfare. School - any child born in the United States is a US citizen and yes, is entitled to an education. TAXES: Another myth. Most illegals have fake SS cards eventually and pay copious taxes just like everyone else. Most immigrants I've known, take to our system like a duck to water and become productive citizens and business owners asap. If you own a business I'm pretty sure that the citizenship process is expedited.

>PREMISE: For these reasons illegals come, no longer to work, but for the freebies. They rob, rape and steal.

Some do, MOST don't. Most are very moral, religious, family centered types, like us. Now Denmark, does have this problem and I guess the Netherlands, too. In 1975, I lived in a student housing (public housing) project, where many middle aged single men from Turkey and other muslim nations were also housed. After being invited to join the labor force after/during the war - they never left. Jobs dried up and these men were living off the dole, sending money home to support their families for decades. They did not integrate within Danish society and had no desire to, from what I was told. They would just glare at us sunbathing in the courtyard shooting daggers with their eyes.....no nude saunas either, lol.

I don't think that we are on that path, Alamo. But in theory, you're right. You're always right. :))

Don't know where you are, but on every point you brought up above, it is the opposite here. I can take you to where they live and show you the crime. I can take you to the dentist where they get free coverage, and I can show you numerous places where they are paid cash and there is no social security taken out...but even if there were, that makes "illegal" legal?

I think SOME are moral, religious etc., but most are not. I can show you where they walk the streets, I can show you the bars on the windows of homes and businesses....and that is not for the owners to protect themselves from moral, religious people, and the illegals are the majority of the opoulation in these areas. I can show you the ranches they have broken into and trashed the homes, killed the livestock, and ruined the crops of farmers. We have about 250,000 of them in this area. Don't know how many you have, but if you ever come this way, I can show you the reality of it all.

But we DO agree on one thing....I am always right! :)!

Al, are you in Nogales? I've heard there are problems down there. I think the drug running crowd is in your neck of the woods at the moment....... I'm in CA.

No, I am just outside San Antonio, but south of here is a basket case, many ranchers threatened on their own property...and who does the government protect? The illegals.
The southside of town is full of them, and if I know where they are, doesn't the government? When I was a coach/teacher I worked in that part of town, and the Mexican-Americans that are citizens are just as angry, if not more so, than others. I don't go there without a gun nowdays.
And...the drug running crowd is everywhere.......

Heck Betty, with a handle like the Alamo, I would think you could guess where I am from! :)

Seriously? I'm really sorry to hear that. I've heard that San Antonio is a very pretty city and a cultural center as well. Has it become a transfer hub for passage north and east? Sounds like it could be, for both drugs and workers. You've got both land and sea links. The guys who traffic in this stuff are notoriously ruthless, I'm told. It is very different here, or else the news thinks it's a non-event.

If you have some time, I'd like to know more about. If our area has improved, maybe the problem has just shifted east. Other than a militia, lol, can you think of a way to make your land border less porous? Drugs could always be dropped to "go-fast" boats, there's a lot of coastline. Yup. You've got a problem..... I can see that now. War on drugs not working either? :(

Re: Handle - I had you figured for a John Wayne, Soldier of Fortune, nephew of Milton Friedman kind of guy, maybe from Texas but not 'necessarily' from San Antonio. How wrong am I......... ;)
