MB - I am against death penalty as well. I think prison is a much worse punishment, and I agree that its not our place to murder someone. Even if they are murderers themselves.

Amen, Dan,
I agree. Death penalty.

For those who do not agree with the Death Penalty?

You try being Taylor's mom or Laci's mom for even one second.

You'd change your mind in a hot heartbeat.

Think about it.
Good post, Dan.

Taylor, may you rest in peace. Your life was far too short, but you were loved by many.

I hope that Taylor's is able to find peace of their own within the coming years. It will take a long time to deal with such senseless tragedy, I can't imagine their pain.

AE & MB, I don't think you have to worry that BF will even make it to DR because from what we have heard he is claiming it was an "accident". He cannot get the DP for that, and that's probably why he sat in jail so long before he "talked" So he could make up some crazy sh--. I respect your opinion on opposing the DP, and I don't know if I support it or not, because of my convictions--and I cannot say they are nessesarily "religious"--more "moral". However, if it was my baby girl, it would be me in front of a judge and jury and I would be the one locked up for beating the crap out of whoever violated and murdered my daughter.
So anyway, I think the prison communtiy will take care of old Benny Boy.

Mary,
Can he get the DP with an admission that it was an accident? And is this confirmed--the so called "confession"?

Oh if I was Taylor's mom and I killed Ben I think it would be justifyible homicide.

DP in the states is so screwed up that they actually get special treatment, and it actually costs us more with the appeals process.

Plus I am against murder, though if someone touched my kiddo I would want to do it myself.

Kind of hypocritical I know, but at least he is off the streets.

Please, let's not get into a death penalty debate! I personally am in favor of the death penalty. If people who commit violent crimes are not punished in an extreme way, I feel that others (aka sickos) will not be dissuaded from committing the same types of crimes. I agree that prison is no picnic, but you are still able to communicate with your family and friends, you have no bills to pay, you are still alive...

That being said, the great thing about this country is that we have a right to disagree. I will not debate about the topic. I have my opinion and anyone else is welcome to theirs. There is no point arguing about it. (Not that an actual argument has broken out...yet)

We are all lucky to be on this earth with our loved ones. We are all lucky that this terrible thing did not happen to our family. Prayers for Taylor's family and friends.

he will get his punishment while in prison, lol.
more than he can handle im sure, lol
========================

I am sorry, but I think its very sick minded and perversed to "enjoy the thought" of even a convicted criminal, becoming a "victim" of another "criminal activity", which is "jail rape".

How do you know that those "tough dudes in prison" who will stuff brooms up his anus, are not "horrid murderers and rapists" themselves? How do you know that they are not in prison for a more horrific crime?

Why do you think "they, the other criminals" have more right to tourchur another criminal?

Is it just because you know of what this criminal did? But you may not know what his pottential offenders did to other victims..... They maybe worst..

I say if a man is found guilty, beyond reasonable doubt of a horrid premiditated murder - take him to a firing squad. Don't waist tax payer's money. It's not like you are lacking "brith growth"... and need to encourage population expansion like in Canada..

America is funny: half of the newer laws are based on "crazy liberals", and the other half on "crazy concervatives"...... Don't you have something in the middle, like a segment of population called "educated wealthy accomplished intellectuals", like your founding fathers few centuries back?

I am for the death penalty.

However, regardless of a person's position or opinion on this matter, we must know (realize) that there is a God in heaven, Jesus Christ, who will be holding a "judgment day." At this time, every man will give account of himself. Our creator knows exactly what happened in every sin and every crime, in spite of what the guilty claim here on earth. If we have not exacted justice appropriately in this life, God will exact justice appropriately in the next life. The guilty will not escape God’s judgment.

Please allow me to put into words a little understanding about death for some who have not been taught these things. The definition of death involves one word only - separation. (the dictionaries are wrong, by the way) Mankind was made and intended to be a three-part being – body, soul, and spirit. Once a soul has been created (born) that soul lives forever. However, because of the sin in the garden of Eden, the spirit died and became dormant. When a person becomes born-again, God resurrects that spirit and gives it life again. Therefore, when a saved person dies, the body is separated from the soul and their soul and spirit are sent to heaven to be with Christ forever. In contrast, when an unsaved person dies, the body is separated from the soul and the soul is immediately sent to live in the fires of hell (which is in the center of the earth) forever. So, there are two deaths for the unsaved. The first death is the separation of the body from the soul. The second death is the separation of the soul in hell from God forever.

If our courts do not exact the death penalty, the guilty are allowed to live a little longer. Though that life is spent in prison, a not-so-great place to be, it is a great life in comparison to the fires of hell where there are weeping and gnashing of teeth forever. What compassion this is for the guilty who gave no compassion to the victim.

If our courts do exact the death penalty, when the guilty is put to death, their body is separated from their souls and their souls are immediately sent to live in the fires of hell forever. Here, there is no compassion for the guilty who gave no compassion to the victim.

Last, I must write a little more to reason with the reader:
The knowledge and understanding in this post is what I have been taught. Once taught these things, I studied and verified that they are true. Therefore, these things are now my educated opinion. However, that I have been taught them and that they are my opinion, has nothing to do with these things herein being the truth. They are the truth because God said so.
Similarly, I have been taught that 2 x 2 = 4. Once taught these things, I studied and verified that this is true. Therefore, this is now my educated opinion. However, that I have been taught them and that they are my opinion, has nothing to do with the fact that 2 x 2 does equal 4. It is the truth. In other words, unbelief does not make the truth false.

Fawley has now confessed. If I were on the jury, I would vote to give him the death penalty. He deserves no compassion because he gave no compassion to Taylor Marie Behl, a 17-year-old child.

MG--
Yup, I do find satisfaction in the fact that Benny boy will be "punished" in prison, however, I certainly don't find "enjoyment" in anyone being given the DP. I faint at the sight of blood and hate death, however, I stand by the law and the DP is part of it. I've got a daughter and spent 36 hours getting her here and then she had to be in NICU, so yeah, no DP by law needed. He's a dead MF before the police have a chance to get to him if it was my girl.

I'd advocate the death penalty for Ben, but he won't last long enough for the State to bring out that punishment. The inmates will get him first for murdering an underage girl. Blanket party in Ben's cell! Everyone is invited.

Regarding Ben's friends, most of the people I know, that knew Ben want to see him dead, a few others are delusional and still believe that he's either been framed or deny that it's happening. I don't know his more recent friends but all of the ones I know from Goth night feel the same way as me and want him gone real quick.

Usually I'd prefer the death penalty, but that's just too quick and sanitary for someone as gruesome as Ben. The inmates will deal with him in their own way. ;-)

Any Episcopalians out there? Are you a turtle? Remember Chanco? I know you are here, because I was the president of the youth group of Convocation 5.

Here we sit like birds in the wilderness, birds in the wilderness, birds in the wilderness, here we sit like birds in the wilderness waiting to be fed.

Taylor Behl is dead, Taylor Behl is dead, waiting to be ed; waiting to be ed (educated) . . .

White dick has kink sex in the head, kink sex in the head, kink sex in the head....

This ain't just Ben Folly, just Ben Folly, just Ben Folly, this ain't just Ben Folly with kink sex in the head.

White dick is all dead, white dick is all dead; kink sex in the head, kink sex in the head, white dick is all dead.

My thoughts and prayers go to Taylor's family. But Ben Fawley is not the only guity party. They tried to do the same thing to me. Thrown up against a wall and choked. Unable to press charges. Legal system failed me. White dick is all dead; kink sex in the head.

R.I.P.

Taylor with love, your friend, Kate

That was six years ago. I was 39. Like Ben Fawley, I appear to be significantly younger than I am. Riding a bike keeps you fresh, thin and healthy.

Six years ago, I was thrown up against a wall and choked by a man I known as a friendly acquaintance (only) for 18 yrs, A Village barstool fixture, not me, him.

I complained. I was told to forgive him. I don't forgive assualt.

I have made a terrific stink about this. I went on about how things had gone too far. The legal system failed.

Ben is not the only one out there. Out here. Maybe if someone had listened to me six years ago, Taylor would be alive.

She is very angry at her former roommmate.

I think I am a psychic. I have tried to reach the dead only three times in my life: my grandmother (when I was practicing ludic dreaming-- a horrific disaster); a former boyfriend, a very rich and successful man who was compelled to blow out his brains (a success); and Taylor, some who could have been both my peer (I could have died the way she did and my child, I am as old as her mother.) I haven't tried to reach Taylor in many days. She was in the woods, all the fallen leaves; she was really angry at her roommate, but I had already read what her roommate did then, so whose to say?

This isn't just Ben Fawley (folly) a man who for whatever else anyone can think of to say, attends a Sadists convention in Fla in August and murders a teenaged girl in September.

I am old enough to be Taylor's mom, but I could have been Taylor. I just wish someone had listened to me six years ago instead of telling me to forgive. I neither forgive you for what was done to me nor what was doen to Taylor. The legal system is in the Dark Ages.

I will always have Taylor in my mind. I would have rather it have been me than you. My life is done.

I could nto get the link on dans post to open byt taylors mom looked so grief stricken - I assume that was a pic from Taylors memorial maybe? Are the 2 guys holding her up police? so ben fawley is saying he "restricted" taylor's breathing during sex? like that purposeful choking that is supposed to be for pleasure? I don't know...could that be true?

Here's what Ben Fragley's
sentence should be.

Locked in a prison cell with Janet Pelasara, who will be armed with a loaded gun and a machete. Law enforcement ordered to ignore his screams.

Remains dumped in a ditch in Matthews County for the vermin to eat.

Goodby you piece of shit. Your time is coming. Prepare yourself. The game is over. You lose.

Wow ....what did I wake up to? some very compelling points here, some of which I agree with some not mainly tho no morals remark? what the hell is that? I guees it was Steve? that was pretty harsh. You say none are victims but Taylor? what makes her diffrent to you the fact she died? If she lived would you be calling her young and dumb also? the fact is that creep robbed her and countless other youth of their cotton candy dreams nothing more and only because he is a psychopath, manipulating people not just teens.Im sure a.m in his experiences can tell you these sorts of people are capable of making an eskimo think its swimming season in the arctic.and the Goth dressing remark come on thats as juvenile as the "artsy comment Ive seen so many times.hundreds of youth dress in all black ,wear dog chains and do no harm to any living creature, just as us "arsty" folk draw classic nudes but would never participate in a cling wrap sexcapade.Strike me down if Im wrong on this but I believe you were making apoint that his apperance should of givin clues to his intentions.Wasnt ted Bundy a guy who would pass as any americans neighbor.Jeffrey Dalmer 100% american tennis pro type as far as looks. I also recall a doctor, whom i knew by the way here in va who noone would of ever expected by his looks and demeaner that he poisoned possibly (not porven) more people thatn dahlmer killed. But then again I guess you possibly persceive every dirty footed hippy as manson and while you at it dont forget Eileen Whornoss sp? was rather BUTCH so I assume all women of large build will be hitchiking with the sole purpose of wacking any man that picks them up.....seem silly to lump it together likr that? anyone?
and by the way I have officially pronounced A-M aunt em, Bull and cosmic the FABULOUS 4 lol on a lighter note

I hope it was clear my only point was looks dont make the man .....I think the fuck-tard is guilty as sin.

Trish,

Everyone who responds to me tries to focus on one word--you focused on "goth" and tied everything I stated to appearance. Another focused on the word "teenager" and felt that I was talking about every teenager. Please focus on the fact that I am not trying to lump "types" of people involved but mainly on Fawley. He had a crimminal record a mile long and a lot of it posted on the internet. Many of these young girlfriends were warned by others about this individual and some of them continued along his path. And yes, Taylor was stupid to become involved with a 38 yr old goth skateboarder with no job. Please do not get hooked up on that I am against 38 year olds, or against goth, skateboarders, or even the unemployed. But when you put them all together into one individual, you have someone who is just not quite right. These are warning signs that cannot be ignored. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.

steve,
I appreciate your opinion along with all Ive seen.possibly I vented knowing your comments were not the only ones who seemed to me to be in a LUMP form.I am well aware my opinion is not the only one or any more important than anyone elses.apologies if it sounded arrogant.I believe we all (or mostly) have come to several conclusions.....ben= screwed up individual who is controlling, manipulative, and guilty of ending a beautiful life accident or otherwise. also that he put himself into the lives of many trusting and impressionable people.which I think has more to do with curiosity and lack of life experience than morals.granted I am absolute there our others in his circle who are simply fucked up.and yor right walks like a....talks like a .....more than likely its a.....fill in how you see fit I myself believe duck was the most flattering word ive seen used lol
respectfully
trish

Thanks Trish

Dan. Sad business there, feel so bad for Taylor's family, especially her mom. Being a mom of 3 daughters, I cannot fathom the pain she is enduring.. Would you do address snuff films? Also, Fawley's preoccupation with skulls and the way he left Taylor's body, planning to go back for hers?

Janet Pelasara's comments on Ben's tale appear in today's RTD.

www.timesdispatch.com

TruthBeTold, the picture of the 2 men on either side of Taylor's mom are her lawyer (in the light suit) and a family friend (in the blue suit). And, yes, the picture is from Taylor's Service Friday.

I think anyone reading Taylor's journal could see she was vulnerable. She had low self-esteem, she was lonely. She desperately wanted to be loved and fit in. Not unlike any of us. But sadly there are predators who troll this MO everyday looking for the "marks." Ask any woman, Frawley knew what Taylor wanted: ATTENTION. She would have done anything he asked. Tried anything he said. Gone anywhere he asked at any time. i don't know if in the final hours she had a change of heart, or attempted to break free, that's what the police are for. I side with her mother's point of view.
The whole "goth" scene is a trend, an alternative lifestyle, just like the hippies, mods, beards, new wavers, punk, and all the others. These people are as harmless as anyone else. In certain individuals there is a possibility for danger, regardless of what group they feel confortble in. Most are just expressing themselves in the way they feel confortable.
I think the far more disturbing issue is Taylor's unfortunate choice of friends. Rue the day that my underage teenage daughter befriends people like Mike Cino, Ben Frawley, Erin Craybill or anyone directly, periferally or even indirectly or allegedly involved in the pornography BUSINESS. Cino may be the most wonderful person in the world. I don't know him, but he's certainly entitled to embrace whatever he likes in his circle of ADULTS.
I know this: he's allegedly involved in the business, and if Taylor steered clear of him she may have never met Frawley, Skulz or whatever the hell his name is. Maybe Frawley contacted her independently. The Dark Side reports when she went to CVU Richmond as a HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR she allegedly stayed with Cino, and Frawley was a roommate. Wonderful.
Generally speaking, what do you call an adult who brings a juvenille to his or her home, and sexual activity occurs between the juvenile and another adult in that home?
I don't want to get into a debate on what pornography is. Can we all agree BDSM, bondage and pictures depicting men and/or women in poses intended to be erotic or sexually stimulating whether in fetish "art" or not constitutes pornography? If the idea is to get people off, the pictures will sell. If they sell, that's called pornography. And that business brings a negative karma with it has the potenital to bring bad luck to all who get involved in it. Sooner or later. Anyone think Frawley was the only wackjob Craybill attracted? There's that karma and negative energy again.
And porn is a business first and foremost. If there were no men on this planet, there'd be no market for this stuff. And the market is huge. Billions made every year on it.
I mean, Taylor could have gotten involved with the knitting people and my guess is it would have been a bit safer. I don't know how much she knew about what they did. hell, it may have been part of the attraction.
That's why I'm starting to tell the kids at age 10 to avoid like the plague anyone involved in this business. Hopefully by 17 it will sink in. The friendships aren't worth the potential backlash by all that comes with it. And is attracted to it.

As though this story wasn't already perfect for the Tabloids, there are people like you commenting on it. Good thing the Police had your help Sherlock, they wouldn't have been able to do it if it weren't for your sensationalism. It turns out Ben Fawley probably killed the girl, but for you, innocent until proven guilty is anachronistic. Let the story die, Taylor wouldn't have appreciated you plastering her face all over the internet accompanied by incendiary comments.

This case has captured us all because it's so complex, and because of the abhorrent links in it to a sub-culture that most of us (and nearly all of us here) reject, summarily. I think if Taylor had been the accidental victim of a shooting or a car accident there would be no blog about it-however tragic that event may have been.

The goal here is to share ideas, information and hopefully motivate each other to say we can't let this kind of murder continue: That our young people are not on the earth to be pawns for sexual predators.

For myself, I think Bob said it well. The "incendiary" comments about this case derived from a collective revulsion at the manner in which the world lost Talyor-no one is here trying to spread lies-or gossip-on the contrary-we seek the truth. Taylor captured our hearts these last weeks and I for one, will never forget her beautiful face. If we spew here, it's out of a need to understand how such blackness could have found her.

Behl's Mother Responds to Fawley

http://www.wric.com/Global/story.asp?S=3985262&nav=0Rcx3aIN

Great idea Doug, let's let the story die. Let's all stop talking about it. Let's hide our heads in the sand, let's not tell our kids anything. Maybe it will all go away. Let's all sit around the campfire singing Kum Ba Ya and wish it all away...denial is a wonderful tool, isn't it? Why are you reading here? Do you think the Richmond Police and FBI are posting?
For the remaining adults who disagree with that viewpoint, let's try to be accommodating to those of us who are making educated observations more about a lifestyle than of the individuals involved.
Yes, there is the cold, black and white forensic study of the case, but that's not the sum total of all that's conveyed. To some this is just another murder to be solved and the system will go about taking care of it's business in a cold, calculating, deliberate way, as it should be.
Sensationalism? Let's try again: This girl did nothing to deserve what happened. There are a lot of "if only's" in this terrible tale, and just maybe some of us with children can carry forward some lesson about this so it might never happen again. We have families to protect, and I for one will be dammned if I am going to sit back and not take steps to protect those I love. And if one of those steps is to advise my kids to ask questions about their friends and shun anyone even remotely connected with pornography as a business, so be it. I don't care who he/she is. Many are probably wonderful human beings. But it's the fringe that "could" be a part of that group i worry about. The risk is not worth it. My family is more important to me than anything else in this world. And there are those who feel that way about you.
And if everyone feels the same way, nobody gets hurt. At least that's the general hope.

Only by coming together and discussing what has taken place, can we hope to learn and hop-efully prevent more of the same. These predators are out there and we must warn our children so they won't be the next victims.

Midwest anon:

You have expressed your hurt and confusion as best you can - and so many of us feel the same. You are to be commended for caring. But feelings (emotions) must be kept in check by logic (reason).

Speaking for most of us, you say that "we seek the truth." In reality, that is not true. Most would rather live in and remain in their delusional life of denial. Here I will prove this truth as follows:

Do you remember the Rob Reiner movie, “A Few Good Men”? Remember what Col. Nathan R. Jessep, articulately played by Jack Nicholson, said from the witness stand? “YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH.”

You said, “I for one, will never forget her beautiful face.” So, if you want the truth as you said, here is the truth: “… man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.” {1st Samuel 16:7}

Consider all the nasty things that Taylor posted: “Bitter” “tiabliaj”(jailbait) “fuckathon” etc. So, if you want the truth as you said, here is the truth: “O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. {Matthew 12:34}

So, if you want the truth as you said, here is what God says about a heart like that: “As a jewel of gold in a swine's snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion.” (Proverbs 11:22)

If you want the truth as you said, here is the truth: “For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.” (Ephesians 5:5) And the delusion and denial? Whoever wishes Taylor peace in heaven above is living in delusion about spiritual things.

If you want the truth as you said, here is the truth: “… Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18:3) In all this time, I have seen no evidence of this in Taylor’s life. "Her beautiful face," Midwest anon? Yes, Taylor was beautiful on the outside but she was ugly on the inside.

Finally, here is proof that you do not seek the truth:
Any who do not seek the truth will crucify me even as you crucified Jesus on that cross.
Any who do not seek the truth will yell at me and call me a hypocrite.
Any who do not seek the truth will sneer at me for quoting Bible verses.

And if you do not seek the truth, it is because you cannot handle the truth.

Took another break away from this place to recharge my spirit and gather my mind.

I sincerely believe that in Ben's mind, he thinks his actions will be accepted as simply a terrible misfortune, not unlike a Greek tragedy, if he says he accidentally killed her in her car during an intimate incounter with the moonlit beach as a backdrop. Ohhhh how romantic......Poor Ben, he must be so beside himself?

He panicked. What was he going to do? He never meant to hurt her, he loved her. He just froze. What would people think? He knew it was wrong to be emotionally attached to someone that much younger and below the legal limit of consent, but sometimes one's heart will not listen to reason....

He knew that as a felon on probabtion there was absolutely know way that police weren't going to think the worst. He KNEW that they would see his long blond hair, dark Goth clothing, and assume that was was truly an accident was done with malicious intent. After all, people have always judged him unfairly. Why should this be any different????

So, he had no choice but to wrap Taylor's still warm body in a plastic sheet and leave her in a dried out ravine. He didn't want to, but he really had no choice......

HERE COMES THE COLD WATER OF SOMETHING THAT I LIKE TO CALL...REALITY

- Taylor was killed in Richmond.

This manipulative sociopathic little punk killed her on his "bondage bed."

Even if if was an "accident," he knew that driving all the way out to Mathews to dump her body after killing her in Richmond would look like premeditation... Never mind that the asshole left this beautiful girl's body exposed to the elements for a month.

Ya know why, because as long as she wasn't found, she'd still be his in the physical sense. How cool would that be, to visit her remains, maybe even thow her skull in a knapsack and take it home?

He says he choked her... but doesn't say with what....

Gee, do you think if LE finds out it was a ligature, that she was hog tied or bound some other way or even that she was suffocated with a plasic bag/plastic wrap they would think different.

Never mind the fact that manual strangulation with the hands would break several bones.

The most common is the hyoid bone (the little "u" shaped fee standing bone that isn't connected to any other bones)

Obviously the neck is often a common break...

The weight and force required to strangle a struggling average sized human being would almost definately cause other fractres.. especially pelvis, chest, collar bone, shoulder/shoulder blade, ect....

Ben Fawley has done nothing BUT lie and this is common with control freaks who want to maintain control over their victim's even in death. He took stabs at Taylor and her mother, knowing damn well what he had done and where her body could be found.

He had the nerve to say she could just disappear.... That's what he was hoping. That she would just disappear and he could go on with his life, just like he had attempted to while passing out the "missing" flyers.

I heard the stutter that broke the quiet anassuming timid voice... it made my stomach turn and my blood boil.

"I know sh-sh-sh-she liked mischief."

I may never forget those fucking words as long as I live and I especially won't forget the way it was said... I was 99.9999% sure he did it before those words, I was ready to shout it from the rooftops until the whole world heard my voice ringing, afterwards.

"I think her mom's finding out some things about her that her mom doesn't wanna know right now."

Sure, blame the victim. That's what punks like Ben "Skulz" Fawley, do....

As if THAT wasn't enough, the pathetic little man franticly asks guards to summon investigators so that he can finally tell "his side of the story."

As if Taylor can tell her side??????????

Then, to add insult to injury, he does this on THE DAY THAT HIS VICTIM WAS BURIED??????? That was suppose to be a day that was all about remembering Taylor Marie Behl and the selfish son of a motherless whore had to make it about him??????? He had to take that one last stab at Taylor, her parents, and the rest of her loved ones. He couldn't just let her rest in peace. No, he had to show that she was forever his and that his name would be forever linked to hers.

That's it, back to football, I'm emotionally spent again..........

>>Whoever wishes Taylor peace in heaven above is living in delusion about spiritual things.

what a horrible, false, hateful thing to say and most un-Christlike

USM:

What about forgiveness and conversion? I would imagine that most people right before death, be they athiest, agnostic, whatever, think "Oh, God". Is that small statement enough?

U.S. Marine I hope you enjoyed passing judgment on the victim. Who exactly nominated you to stand in judgment over anyone, especially Taylor?

Your remarks are repulsive, and resemble the ugliest, dirtiest tricks played by defense lawyers to convince juries to excuse evil deeds: slander the victim.

Taylor may have made some poor judgments in her young life; all children do. But since nothing she did justifies her murder, our opinions of Taylor are irrelevant to the questions of who killed her and why. And unless you happen to be God himself, your opinions of Taylor are completely out of line.

If you are retired as I suspect, I wish you would change your screen name.

You are to be commended for responding quietly rather than reacting in anger.

I hope it can be seen that there was no intentional harm in my disertation, but my school-teacher mom taught us that sometines the truth hurts. And, should one ever need apologize for speaking the truth?

The thief on the cross was quoted as saying, "Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom." This was certainly a "deathbed repentance."

The publican merely said, "God be merciful to me, a sinner."

Anyway, I do believe in "deathbed repentance." However I can not answer your specific question. You might try asking God - only His opinion matters anyway!

US Marine---you preach the gospel as you know it...i'll preach it as i know it...whether or not the young lady was saved (born again)...we on this blog do not know...because you have not seen any fruit in her life from your brief view means very little...when a person is saved...their spirit is reborn...and their mind must be renewed...and most people don't get as far as they need to in that area...as for their flesh...well that never gets saved and we continuously have to work on that while we renew our minds...my father was saved two weeks before he died...i know it happened...however, he did not have any time left to renew his mind and change his lifestyle...is he in heaven...absolutely...and you won't convince me otherwise...i trust in the grace and mercy of God and the fact that he called on Jesus...for none of us...thru any works...can earn salvation...it is a free gift...and what we do with the gift after we receive it determines the level of life that we live here on this earth...work on your love walk sir...that's the commandment given in the new testament...if you have never screwed up or sinned since your salvation...good for you...i on the other hand have!
to everyone else...sorry for the sermon!

You lost all crediblity with that hateful un-christ-like statement marine. You are not a man who speaks the truth of god, but a hatemonger who uses the bible to further his hate.

>>Whoever wishes Taylor peace in heaven above is living in delusion about spiritual things.

Do you think that statement would get you in the pearly gates? No very Christian of you.

meant to say:
NOT very christian of you marine.

Wow, it always makes me shudder when I am faced with so-called Christians who never hesitate to cast the first stone.

or even deign to know

'marine,' you obviously did very well in your class on how to read and preach the scriptures, but missed the day when they discussed understanding what they mean, practicing them, and living them.

sparky:

“Enjoyed?” “As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die …? (Ezekiel 33:11)

"Passing judgment?" The truth is, ... by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. (Matthew 12:37b)

"Repulsive?" The truth is, "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. (Proverbs 1:7)

“Nothing she did justifies her murder?” The truth is, “… they which commit such things are worthy of death …” (Romans 1:32b)

“U.S.Marine?” This name is entirely fitting for we are trained to fight the enemy.

Consider this, sparky, for your own learning:
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20) Did not Taylor call herself bitter? Do you not believe her?

you using the Word of God to justify the murder of a child because she chose a smart aleck screenname?

That IS sacrilege.

Jeffery Dahmer was baptized in a prison tub in May of 94 and murdered in Nov of 94.

Is he in heaven?

I can't believe I'm reading what I'm reading. Using God in this way is terrible. You should be ashamed. You know the last commandment Jesus gave to his friends? "Love one another as I have loved you." He COMMANDED US to have compassion for our brothers and sisters in faith. Sure, Judas "had his reward" and that was the way it had to be. But that was the path HE chose for himself. Just like Frawley chose his path. We didn't choose it for him. He chose. I am not a religious man. And i don't care what anyone thinks about that.
So it's come to using the Bible in a horrible way to place blame on the victim. It's so sad. Jesus, this poor girl. Her mother will qualify for sainthood before this is done. She's got my vote.
Remember Taylor's journal? More precisely, the 4,000+plus sickening comments left about her by people all across the country. Oh, the first comments were kind and sympathetic. Then Dateline came out. Then it went right to hell. I thought, OK, this sickening, screwed up world with its lack of compassion and empathy for anyone is what made it possible for her to end up in a ditch on the side of the road. Then I read that shit on her journal and there it was again! The same fucking thing. It's the same thing. And then there are the misguided religious zealots who think they've discoved something no one else knows and take every opportunity to ram it down our throats, whether we want it or not.

cosmic mojo:

What is the difference between the concept of "justify" and the concept of "explain?"

Since when was this a forum about Taylor's soul? There is no question about it-she was beautiful inside and out,a child of God. Far be it from any of us to condemn her or each other.
On the other hand, there is someone who has violated Taylor in the most heinous way. What a sad waste of life, a soul black with so much evil, to murder not only her body, but to continue by smearing her character. BF might have fooled some, but he certainly didn't fool God. He'll get his in the end, hopefully here on earth, then possibly for all eternity.
