Troubling revelation, one way or another. If we see one bug like these, eventually we'll see others - even if this one doesn't spread. Yes, I have seen the comments about panic, but the fact is they have been talking about the emergence of bugs like this for years. And it's only going to get worse, at least in part because of the development going on in new areas of the world where man has never set foot before.
Webster observed, "This [H5N1] virus spreads outside the lungs to the central nervous system ... This is the first influenza virus we've seen that does this in a mammal."
