And yes I am getting to some news tonight - BTW the Bogalusa group formed here is up to about nine families looking for loved ones and I think three people, two from there, have actually located people through connections from here, different blogs or web sites. Several new emails came in today ... maybe that's why I have been posting some humor.
STarting on a serious note, do the Al Sharpton and the Jesse Jackson's of the world ever add anything positive to the discussion of race? I've had issues with Bill Cosby over the years when he began to be more politically active ... but he was right about certain things today. There are, unfortunately, poverty pimps among us, in my opinion, and how some of them came to be out of the inspirational story of Martin Luther King is beyond me.
But then this guy is often beyond me, too. Well, sometimes he seems to be ... just beyond. He's done some brilliant work, you might want to have a look in his archives, too.
And I meant to make this link as part II of Politics, Posers, Money, Reason and Reflection. If you are going to expose posers at a time like this, especially basically well-meaning but dumb ones ... you should do it with style. IMO Ace scores a ten with this one - freaking hilarious.

When I see Jesse Jackson all I can think of is a big pot of crap and he is the guy with the big spoon stirring it as many different directions as the crap will go. I think a better name for the Super dome is the Super dome and maybe we should rename Jesse Jackson to Jesse Jackass.
and Sean Penn and/or Edward Norton? My only question is what in the hell is the cup doing around the pen*s icicle? Is that Edward Nortons? Where does does thing come from? I find it odd, maybe it is just me but I don't see ice let alone penis shaped.

Did he really say that about Danny Glovers acting - or was that a bit of humor on the part of the blogger? No, really-did he really say that-or am I just being too gullible?

I was just implying it is stupid to talk about renaming it.

I'm so glad Jesse is around to scream racism at every corner. We sure wouldn't want to offer encouragement, a sense of hope, or any possible pride in their abilities to people who are destitute.

i don't even know what to say. I can't decide if it is amazing or just a little much. Original for sure, who would even think to question who was in the movie? There are so many other obvious things that destroy his credibility but this is just great!

Well at least Jessie, had a bullhorn.

off subject but try to pass the word..
As individual help travels thru South Louisians get word to locals to help them pass thru...
Friend loaded trailer with Round bales of hay donated for the stranded hungry cattle there.. she has been in touch via cell phones..she spent hours stalled on the Achafaly (misspelled) bridge.
She took one day off and its sounding like she may be gone three getting there..
If her mission succeeds there will be more bales coming..but right now not successful.
