UNfortunately, it is a criminal investigation - though many hold out hope she will re-appear. A good blog friend of mine wrote the piece for Court TV's Crime Library.

He mentions in the first page of the article that Belle Isle is in Lancaster, VA. There may be a Belle Isle in Lancaster but I think the one that relates to Ben Fawley is only blocks from his house in the James River in Richmond. Maybe you could let him know that so he could change it.

oh yeah, inrichmond is right--good call.
Lancaster county is 60 miles away.
Belle Isle in the City of Richmond is near downtown.

There is a Belle Isle in Lancaster, but also one in Richmond. The one in Richmond is where former Civil War prisons were located.

It's part of the James River Park System in the City of Richmond. It was a prison in the Civil War.
