She should've been arrested months ago when she was protesting in crawford texas...
Who's flag does she live under? What does it stand for?
This woman need intensive psychotherapy!

I almost spewed laughing at the last picture...
then, it got eerily serious thinking about how selfishly vindictive this woman has been.
Hope she doesn't sue.

Selfish vindication is indeed a great description of Sheehan's behavior. She should be considered deranged and dangerous. Pathetic psycho making a mockery of her own childs service to his country. Her family should have her committed.

Can I tell you I instantly thought of caged monkey with a dress on when I saw Cindy smirking behind the bars.

Yawn.

She's dancing on her son's grave with a picket sign.

I wonder when I see his face what he would have thought about her actions.

Perhaps this is the only way she can cope.

Army Pfc. Lynndie England, whose smiling poses in photos of detainee abuse at Baghdad's Abu Ghraib prison made her the face of the scandal, was convicted Monday by a military jury on six of seven counts.

They should convict the recruiting officer who allowed this woman to serve in the army. I know, the Dan Riehls of this world don't enlist in the army, As do most rich republicans. So, there is not much choice. But this woman was never qualified to enter the army. Poor girl. Now she is taking the heat. It's a shame.

Coconuttree,
You write as though you've been under one too many falling coconuts. The Dan Riehls of the world, and their children, do enlist in the service of their country. Dan and I are from similar socioeconomic situations, and not only did I serve in the Marines years ago, but my son served in Operation Enduring Freedom and has served in Iraq. Additionally, he just got back and is getting ready to return to Iraq, voluntarily.

As for Cindy Al-Sheehan not qualifying for service, it's because she's more qualified for a section 8 than a trip to boot camp. The only shame involved is her actions. No one deserves to bury their kid, but a hell of a lot of us have and risk having to do so every day, as did our parents before us. But contrary to the believe of some, there still is something to be said for duty, honor, and country. And it just so happens that in this war on terror that's being fought now, failing isn't an option, unless you want to live under Islamic law and the threat of terror.

As for that detainee abuse of Army Pfc. Lynndie England, there's a hell of a lot of dead Islamist prisoners that would trade that kind of abuse for having had their heads cut off, any day of the week.

In a nut shell, no pun intended here, I'm a rich as hell Republican, I've served, my kid served, my kid is going back to serve again, my nephew served, he's going back to serve again, and if I wasn't too old and they'd still let me go back in the Marines even though I'm in a wheelchair, I'd damned well do it, again.

So uess that blows your premise all to hell in a hand basket. No offense meant here, just a little reality for perspective.
