My buddy Gordon seems to have a problem - he's short on a photoshop for my other friend, Jane. It seems part of the arab press has dubbed Jane a neocon hedgehog, among other things.
Well, unbeknownst to my two colleaugues I do have the only known photo of a real live neocon hedgehog - I think they call it a hedgeowitz - sure sounds better than a neo-hog.

oh my, I cant stop laughing. Faris is calling me a neocon hedgehog.

Thanks, Gordo - ya have to admit, Paul's head fits pretty well on there. LOL But I heard you have to feed them an arab country once a year, or they start to shed. ; )

BTW, for anyone interested, hedgehogs are extremely difficult to examine & treat. Merely attempting to touch one, results in them rolling into a ball of needles.....
Feel sorry for this person if ever in need of medical care..

I don't know who this dude is, but I don't think I'll ever be able to take him seriously after seeing this. Who knew that the 'other side' was as twisted as 'we' are.........lol. Must be a coastal thing.
I don't get the Jane link, but I did reverse read my way back to the World Press Review. Eureka!
Finally, World News reporting I can wrap my mind around. Kind of like an Utne Reader, Granta, US News and World Report fusion.....free, on my computer. Ah, technology.

thanks, may i callyouBetty, world press is great and has been running my articles on yemen. as a result, the governmental media in yemen has been trashing me by name and the latest thing they called me was a neocon hedgehog, or a neohog, as dan might say.

Jane- your article was great, I just didn't get the who was bashing who - hedgehog thing.
Twenty five years ago, in Morocco, I watched mystics roll hedgehogs on a rug in the Medina, to predict the future. Something about how they fell, open or curled up in their cute little spiky balls. Kind of a hedgehog bocci ball.
Maybe they think you're a sage?
