On A Current Affair Beth Twitty was shown the full interview with Joran van der Sloot. Beth pointed out all the lies and misconceptions in Joran’s statements. Twitty also explained that the FBI was NEVER involved in the investigation because the Aruban government wouldn’t allow it.

I assume she's using the bogus statements that never were that were produced by Jossy Mansur as the basis for her position. Old Jossy sure has been MIA since the election, now hasn't he? What do you suppose THAT was all about, all you Jossy fans? And I shouldn't have to point out that we couldn't and wouldn't allow any other nation's investigatory bureau become involved in an investigation here, either - short of an observation and advisory role. I suspect the journalists at A Current Affair will conveniently forget to point that fact out.

Wow, that was a heart felt video to watch. I'm so sad for Beth's pain. Thanks Dan for the opportunity to view it although I don't think I'll sleep well tonight. Beth's daughter has been cruelly taken from her. J had some involvement -- that is absolutely clear - now from his own mouth to us.

J's own statements are internally and externally inconsistent. AND he even admits to conspiring to lie and to sexual contact with NH and leaving her after having to carry her.

JvdS has admitted to trying to cover up what he now proclaims to be totally innocent behavior, even covering up the alleged story that HE was seduced by NH and just apparently fell victim to her allure! This, of course, makes no sense whatsoever. Was he so concerned about his image that he had to make up the Holiday Inn story with the other two because he didn't want the world of Aruba to know he was so weak? This is preposterous.

If Jossy is such a culprit - and I have no independent knowledge - then he deceived Beth very well. What a story of double insult and tragedy to Beth.

It seems like most everyone on Aruba that has had anything to do with this has deceived and lied and we cannot trust anyone's words. Maybe Arlene was honest. But I can't think of anyone else right now. About all we can say is that they all seem to be lying about something to cover up something.

I am still waiting for the journalist/reporter who wakes up from their beth induced coma long enough to bother to ask her WHERE she got these documents from because it wasn't from the police and it wasn't from the fbi - grieving or not you can't tell me beth does not know jossy is a liar and she has happily went along with any garbage he has produced for the sake of her agenda to ruin the lives of these boys guilty or not - if these boys were to answer any questions the way beth does "well ya know, ummm I just don't know" or "well ya know that just was not relevant" I am sure there would be an immediate assumption they were lying and hiding things but apparantley since it is beth it is o.k. Did anyone watch the current affair? Now saying fluids in the car found - grey honda. Joran approached the MB kids and at the hotel and told them he was a tourist visiting from Holland. This kid said first it was none of anyone's business if he had sex with natalee, then said it was consensual, then said none of them had sex with her. Beth said the report describes natalees underwear in detail, an embroidered flower. Beth knows the exact underwear, if no sex, how would he know that? He is a habitual liar. Guilty, probably, a liar, most definitely.

Well Mike if as you say, the first 48 hours are critical. Then why was it that NONE of her fellow students/travelers or the chaperones, figure out Natalee was missing for over 10 hours? Some knew she left in a vehicle with 3 boys. When she wasn't there in her hotel room, why wasn't none of her 3 roommates alarmed? Why was it that they waited until they were all at the airport,until they figured out, something was wrong? And why did the chaperone leave the airport and went back to the hotel, and called upon Hotel Security to do a check of the hotel, then called Beth...THEN the hotel security contacted the police. By then it was almost 12 hours into the time that Natalee was seen leaving Carlo's and Charlies, and before the police even knew they had a missing person on their island?
Those first hours were crucial. IF anyone had any sense, that seen her get into that vehicle, and then NOT show up right away at the hotel, a search could of possibly commenced THAT night. IMO.

In my view it's the aggressive approach by BHT on jun 1st towards JvdS that made JvdS concoct a story. That's where major damage was done to the investigation.
If you think Aruba is that bad, and missing person cases (so far there still is no PROOF of anything else) in the USA are not unvestigated untill at least 48 hours have passed. What a lot of you are still failing to swallow here is the basic situation this family has been facing!

Their child has vanished into thin air in another country, their child was preyed upon by three young men looking to get laid, and the investigatory body responsible for the advocacy of the citizens of that country as well as the tourists bolstering their economy was negligent, irresponsible and cavalier...

Do not come back at me with "show me proof" or "you don't know the facts", because the statements I have made here have already been hashed, rehashed and rehashed again, and all are true, all have been verbalized by the parties involved, the boys who have admitted having sex with her and the Prime Minister of the country admitting to the world that the investigation was mishandled.

I am tired of hearing all the negativity about the family and their tactics, a lot of you like to make these holier than thou statements about the accused being innocent until proven guilty, because it is easy to ridicule people putting their thoughts and feeling into words, but you consistently fail to follow those very same principals when you denigrate this family and their hardship.

This missing girl and her family (to some extent) are the victims and they are consistently being attacked and insulted with silly childish statements because WE the observers disagree with their tactics. Well shame on us, all of us, for claiming to have a better methodology regardless of which side of “The Fence” we are on…

I respect all the information you have given us and your continued efforts to date, but I have to say, your comments on the FBI and the question of their involvement or lack thereof is suspect. I am NOT condoning the FBI having ever taken over this case, but there is a strong argument for calling in more learned individuals or teams when you are clearly not up to the task at hand…The English brought in the Mossad to assist in the London bombing investigation because the Mossad is the authority in such matters. Is it not responsible to ask for help when you clearly have NO experience with a certain task?

Valid questions, but this has been covered ad nauseam...That last night, people were everywhere, not sleeping in rooms, hanging out in the lobby, hanging out by the pool, etc...

We all know there was negligence everywhere, but let's stop trying to look for other avenues of blame or even simple explanation when the crux of the issue is that she left with these boys, these boys said they had sex with her, the police botched the investigation (Prime Minister said so)and she is still not found...

Any this point, Beth needs to do any and all things to try to find Natalee. I think she is at the end of her rope, as I am sure you and anyone else would be if that were your daughter. A boycott of Aruba may just wake up the government there, and make them realize that we as Americans, do not condone their underhanded tactics, nor their Keystone Cop policies. The government had admitted doing a bad job on this investigation!! Now, lets me realistic here. There is a VERY small chance that Natalee is alive at this point. The prosecution has even said they think she is dead, and they are privy to whatever small amount of evidence, or large amount ( that has be covered up ).

This is a horrible thing for any family to have to deal with, especially on soil outside of the US.

Looking for other avenues of blame? I was just asking questions, as to WHY none of her so called close friends, were alarmed for HOURS, that she never came back.....especially when the FIRST few hours are crucial.....when a person goes "missing". Could of Natalee BEEN found that night? Who knows.....we will never know.

As for the boys stating they had sex with her. Joran in his ONLY statement to the PUBLIC, not hearsay, not double hearsay...stated that HE did NOT have sex with her. And the deepak tape? I question thats authenticity. It was edited and who knows how it was sliced and diced and put together. And IMO, this person showed dupilicity in getting him to talk to him. Why not have the ENTIRE tape, heard. Instead of edited version? Or take it to a lab, have it tested for its authenticity? I could interview you on tape...and then slice it, and edit to make it sound like YOU said things you never did. And IF BETH had this tape since July.............why wasn't it turned over to the police in ARUBA? Why wait for the beginning season of DR PHIL to air that? Don't you think if she had THIS kind of evidence, that would of helped re-detain Deepak, for none other than charges of rape?

Thank you for your post. I couldn't have said it better myself. It is getting so tiresome seeing this poor family attacked for no reason other than trying to find their daughter. It actually frightens me to see the way some people think, and the hatred and animosity they have towards an innocent family.

EVeryone can certainly have their own opinion, but geez, give this family a break. They are working with almost a third world type government, it seems. I just can't believe in seeing this case from the beginning, the statements that were put out there, and then pulled back, never to be heard about again.

I hope something breaks soon in this case, and that Natalee Holloway gets the justice she deserves. Thank God that she has fighting parents like she does, otherwise, ARuba would have made sure this was forgotten news a long time ago.

It is really sad... I still think of Natalee and her family, her brother and her parents and Jug. I try to catch them on interviews every so often, but I have stopped a lot. I still look for updates on the web, but for the most part, I am not as passionate anymore. Why? I saw the Dr. Phil show, and maybe I expected to much, but I was very disapointed. I didnt think it was going to be a blame game and I actually thought that it would be a show about trying to uncover the mystery behind it. Instead, I found that Dr. Phil made a fool out of himself, and I cant even believe the so called audio taped confession of Deepak... anybody can cut and paste anything together, - I just dont believe it anymore.
I think Beth knows in her heart that she has nothing and is so hurt and so desperate that she just wants someone to pay for not having her daugther back and I understnad that.

But non of the news coverage etc seems real anymore. I saw all the posts about "Beth taking on NYC"... I wanted to vomit!!! I wish I would run into her and I wish I could sit down with her and have a heart to heart...

I'm not saying Jossy Mansur didn't have his own agenda, but he was the ONLY person on Aruba I saw who offered any hope to Mrs. Twitty of finding her missing daughter. As for Jossy disappearing once the election was over, I haven't seen him on TV since he was hospitalized well before the election was held. Maybe I missed something, but then again, maybe it was you who missed something.

I'm still waiting for your report on the "inside" facts that you know about the case because of your contact in Aruba. I just hope it is not more "trash" the victim stuff like you posted last night, as if that makes it all right that this American girl vanished without a trace. No matter how anyone sullies her reputation, true or not true, that does not make it acceptable to most people that the investigation of her disappearance was badly botched, intentionally or by accident.

Exactly, unless she is laying there dead and you have to put her underwear back on - along with the rest of her clothes to dispose of a body. People with nothing to hide, don't concoct stories, they don't beat their chests and say "what do you want me to do". They are upfront and say, hey, here's what happend, lets go retrace the steps now. We got in Deepak's car, we made out, we went back to my house, then we went back to the beach, here is where I left her." They don't come up with some other lame story about dropping her at the HI, talk about black security guards, knowing the prejudice would buy them some time. Then, come up with, oh, now here is the real story, after the evidence is gone. Maybe she had too much to drink, maybe something interracted with the drinks to make her die, but several versions of what happend, all very different paint a picture of three stooges trying to be clever.

There is a more universal evil that this case has exposed. Women who are out on the town during their last night at a resort are often the target of predators. Soemtimes the police are in on it and local officials keep it quiet because they don't want to besmirch the reputation of their locale and discourage tourism. The police in the beginning of the Holloway case may have had a reason to "botch" the investigation. It is hard to believe that that the police were not extremely well aquainted with the now infamous "Carlos and Charlie's " hotspot, and the boys waiting to jump the girls on their last night out. It is hard to beleive that the police did not know what the likes of Juran and the Kalpoe brothers were up to. Juran was under age and yet, as Beth Twitty said, he just walked in without standing on line like the touristas. He was a regular. At the very onset of the investigation Beth kept saying "What's going on here?" - she was put off by the attitude of the police. A mother in search of a lost child has all of her instincts working on super high and she is very sensitive to voice and body language and even smells. Think of a lioness prowling in search of a lost cub. Beth just "knew" things were not as they should be. And, lets face it, it is very difficult to hide a body as quickly as Natalee seemed to disappear. These boys may have been helped. I pray that the truth really does come out. If officials are involved it is possible the cover can go on for a very long time. In Mexico, there is a town where over three hundred young women have been tortured and murdered. The police and the powerful and rich drug lords have formed a kind of unholy alliance that preys upon the children of the poorest of the poor. It is an atrocity. This case in Aruba of course is apparantly isolated. But, if left unpunished and shrugged off, it can lead to more and worse crimes of this nature. Now that the infamous remark "if there is no body, there is no case" has been made common knowledge worldwide, those creeps who only dreamed of doing such a dreadful harm, will be encouraged to play out their sinister desires and then not only to rape, but do even greater evil.

Jossy, by the way, had a heart attack and was hospitalized for a while. That may be why he is not seen around so much anymore. And, unfortunately the trail may have gone dry. But the bottom line is that Natalee is not in Venezuala partying and the three men who were last seen with her have lied repeatedly. Natalee cannot defend herself and tell us what happened, while they continue to spin her as a loud, nutty, slutty, dope head. I contine to pray for justice for Natalee and for all the lost girls and women who have been abused and forgotten by all but their heartbroken families.

Jossie made statements about a former foe in the past and present Aruban
government that not only were proven false but also included the real threat
of prosecution. These statements were retracted under duress with apology.
The entire episode is documented in Josseys rag diario and on its web site.
You may need a translator. Such a paragon of fact. is Josey. His reported
hospital stay was a slick way to avoid jail while his lawyers contemplated an
out for him.

In most states in US, a missing person report, let alone an investigation ,
can not be filed until 72 (thats not 48) after the person has been missing.
Should Aruba treat US citizen "disappearance" differently than for an Aruban
citizen. Most of the missing people in US are not missing just left - left a
marriage, left a relationship, just left.

Why the sudden massive faith in the FBI. Within the last month the inability
of FBI to communicate with itself has been substantiated in 9/11 commission
review and review and ...

IF she goes to Aruba and or anywhere else and makes statements like she
has in the past she sets herself up for prosecution. Think Joran or daddy
would not jump at a opportunity for payback. particularly if Joran and daddy
are really innocent. Are they baiting her right now to do just that.

Just to keep the story alive another year or so maybe BHT can murder
Joran and conduct interviews from jail while awaiting trial. Of course the
defense would be insanity but the jury the can not accept insanity.

Paul - she admitted that last night on the A Current Affair video - she said that the ONLY thing that would shock her was if someone brought Natalee alive in front of her. She said that she has been hardened by this whole ordeal and IMHO I think that's somewhat understandable to have gone this long with no answers.
